Who we are looking for:
- Object Oriented software developer, be it Java, .Net, C++, etc. As long as OO, you will find it very easy to pick up the language that we are using, Quill, a proprietary language that developed by our in house R&D based in The Netherlands.
- Good logic thinking. Compare to conventional programming languages, we are MUCH MORE fun and interesting! We spend 70% to think of what to model, and how to do that, and spend 30% modeling it. Yes, we call it modeling, not programming

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to be part of our global development center, where you will contribute to the development of our supply chain optimization software. You have experience of working in an object-oriented development environment. In order to succeed in this role, you must be able to come up with clever solutions to complex planning puzzles, and have the ability to analyze and model real-world business processes.
Department & Supervisor
You will be assigned to a team following the induction process. You will report directly to the team manager.
Location
This role is based in Quintiq’s Global Development Center, Kuala Lumpur. You will be expected to work with and provide support to colleagues and customers around the world.
Type of Employment
This is a full-time permanent role. You will be confirmed following a three-month probation.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts and advanced planning & scheduling consultants to develop a best-fit software solution which addresses the customer’s requirements.
Contribute to the development of Quintiq’s industry solutions, which include the employee planning & scheduling solution and the supply chain planning solution.
Play a significant role in the iterative development process, to test and refine the software in response to feedback from the customer and the project team.

Job Requirements
A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, econometrics, or artificial intelligence.
Excellent communication skills and a good command of English.
Experience in developing business software solutions is advantageous.
Experience with object-oriented modeling (UML), 3GLs (Java, C++, Delphi, Smalltalk, Eiffel) or 4GLs (G2, Aion, etc.) is a plus.
Experience of iterative software development is a plus.
Fresh graduates with excellent academic records are welcome to apply.
