Karl Marx and his Ideas

Karl Marx
Probably more then any other person alive, Karl Marx affected the history of the 20th century. The world after the 2nd world war was a perilous place for humanity, the uneasy relationship between the Capitalists and the Communists, the nuclear brinkmanship and the raw struggle between the poors and the imperialists.
Revolutionary groups crawled through the jungle to spread his ideas( remember Che!). Students stood barricades on the streets and in campus compounds to bring about the order he has written. Worlds' statemen slept uneasily in their bed at the thought of him.
His presense is felt around the world (1/3 of world population live under his ideas) and countless regimes toppled by the masses who embrace his ideals.
Yet this man, surprisingly, never handled a gun, riot on the streets and belong to any revolutionary group. He spent most of his time idealing and writing in the reading room of British Library ( he was so poor that he can't even afford to buy books). Living on friend's charity and  hardly supported his family.

I beg to disagree. The爃onour爏hould爏inglehandedly go爐o Nikola Tesla. He is 'THE' 20th century.燱ithout爃im,爐here爓ill燽e爊o 20th燾entury. At least not in this form...

Of course, that would be in technological sense. But it's all related. That's why the 20th century is such a big jump from the 19th  century.燭he world change so much in matters of days (now) compared to decades,爀ven燾enturies...(before)營ts爉ind燽oggling!

I think the "principle" of communism is good ..
to be fair to everyone,
to be equal in their possessions,
to avoid greed and the corruption caused by it ..

cuma perhaps time application tu susah sikit,
especially if dealing with "culture" sesuatu masyarakat,
some masyarakat are very competitive in nature,
and the spirit of competitiveness is rooted in almost every individual
in that masyarakat..

was triggered by a comment from a person,
what is the difference between china and laos?
both are communist countries,
both are similar in culture,
(laos ppl eat with chopsticks sama cam china, korea, japan)
tapi while china, korea and japan makin maju,
many korean n japanese industries are reluctant to invest in laos,
but chose to go to china instead ..
the reason?
orang orang kat laos tu ramai yg baik baik belaka .. very laid back ...
bersederhana dan bersikap syukur with their current lives ...baik dengan jiran2,
baik dengan tetamu2 ...so, kurang sifat competitive...coz they dont (havent) aim
for something heads-n-shoulders above other ppl ..."culture" untuk bersaing belum
di embed in that masyarakat..

once dah ada, then maybe communism tu akan mula tergugat,
sebab communism tu bukan ideologi yg ideal lagi for that masyarakat ..

ps:  teringat dengan kata kata minister kat china ..
"who says that we are not democratic? all of us are selected by the people to represent the people" (more or less)

from reading...

MARXISME

Ajaran yg dikembangkan oleh Karl Marx n Friederich Engels yg berintikan pd asumsi bhw kelas buruh mempunyai peranan penting utk menghilangkan kapitalisme n hak2 istimewa kelas2 sosial tertentu hingga pd akhirnya terbentuk masyarakat tanpa kelas sosial...

apa kaitan communism dengan competitive culture? in a communist society, there doesn't need to be a rich person telling the workers how much resources to produce.  human dont compete for money,  money is not the only initiative for everything we do. we are just being indoctrined by the capitalists to think so.

karl marx parents were born jewish but converted to christian.  His grandfather was a jewish rabbi.

Marx created an idea that jews will never accept.  The ideas that in less than 200 years collapse and died naturally.  But, the idea manage to destroy part of the world and people.

Is this a conspiracy?
