[FTNews] FTISLAND Confirms “Pray” As Title Song

FTISLAND Is about to start a powerful rock wave in the K-Pop world this Spring.

FTISLAND will reveal their 5th official album ‘I Will’ at midnight on March 23rd and start their national promotion with powerful hard rock title song ‘Pray.’ ‘Pray’ describes one’s desperation for the truth in a world filled with lies. The fulfilling band sound and Lee Hongki’s explosive high notes are expected to capture all five senses of listeners. Leader Choi Jonghun wrote the melodies and he, Lee Hongki, Lee Jaejin, and Song Seunghyun wrote the lyrics.  

The 5th official album’s title song ‘Pray’ will be FTISLAND’s first genre to attempt since deputing 9 years ago. Described as the music that’s most true to FTISLAND’s color, it’s a song that the members are very proud of. IT’s also catching the general public’s interest as a genre that’s difficult to find in the current music market.

FTISLAND Defines ‘Pray:’ “We wanted to break free from the limited subject of a lover’s relationship and sing about ‘love’ with a bigger meaning. We hope this song brings a light of hope to those beat down in the dark world.”

Ahead of their comeback on March 23rd, FTISLAND will reveal ‘To The Light’ on the 17th and unveil the color of their new album.

What are the three words that represent each individual F.T. Island member?

Prior to their comeback, the boys of F.T. Island have been featured in a pictorial for magazine 'CeCi', flaunting their good looks and manly charms that we will get to see more of soon!

During the follow up interview with the magazine, F.T. Island members commented on their upcoming fifth album 'I WILL', and said, "All the members agree that it's an album that has the DNA of F.T.Island.

We were very happy being able to make our music so the people at our performances will leave very happy as well." The boys have previously mentioned their struggle in getting permission from their agency to produce an album that's entirely their own style, so fans, make sure you support them more than ever!

The members also revealed three keywords that best represent themselves.

Hongki picked "bowling, musical inspiration, and alcohol" while the youngest member Minhwan chose "EDM, electric unicycle, and eating".

Jonghun decided on "stretching, figurines, and nature", and Seunghyun said "workout, piano, and his pet".

Jaejin's three words were "medicine, fashion, and acting".
