Episode 12 Review: Go Soo Tells Jang Shin Young “I Don’t Want to Get Married to You”
In Empire of Gold, episode 12, Jang Tae Joo(played by Go Soo) told Yoon Sul Hee(played by Jang Shin Young) that he was not planning to get married her.
As Sul Hee mentioned marriage to Tae Joo, Tae Joo directly said, “I don’t want to get married to you.” Sul Hee was shocked because previously, Tae Joo has told Choi Min Jae(played by Son Hyun Joo) and his father that he will get married to Sul Hee in the future.
Tae Joo also said, “I left the five-story building in Sadang-dong for you. Live there. This is my last gift for you.” Sul Hee asked, “But we can affiliate with Sung Jin Group spending those billion dollars.” However, Tae Joo answered, “Min Jae is in control of me, so we can’t do that.”

In Empire of Gold, episode 12, Choi Seo Yoon(played by Lee Yo Won) proposed to Jang Tae Joo(played by Go Soo) to revenge on her mother, Han Jung Hee(played by Kim Mi Sook).
Seo Yoon was mad after finding out that Jung Hee got married to Choi Dong Sung(played by Park Geun Hyun) to take a revenge on him, and that her brother, Choi Sung Jae(played by Lee Hyun Jin) was not her real brother. Seo Yoon could not forgive her mother, but she was already too strong for Seo Yoon to do anything alone.
Seo Yoon met with Tae Joo and said, “You told me earlier that you want to become like my father. Let’s fight with everything we have. And then let’s win. After that, one of us will have everything, and the other will lose everything.” As Tae Joo asked, “How can I trust you?” Seo Yoon continued, “There is one way. Let’s get married. You choose.”
