Ko Soo as Jang Tae Joo
Handsome, smart, tough, he’s such a perfect man. But he doesn’t have one thing : money.
It brings lot of humiliation and disgrace. He lost his father because of poverty and he doesn’t want to have the same fate. Then he joined an enterprise, Sungjin Group, and hoped to build a success story. But his job was only a guard and the future heir of the company bullied him and betrayed him. Lee Yo Won as Choi Seo Yoon
Second daughter of Chairman Choi Dong Sung, owner of Sungjin Group. She has pride and brave.
When she was in junior high school, her father was in the list of 10 wealthiest men in South Korea. She never watched price tag whenever she bought something.
People said that Sungjin Group is a golden enterprise but Seo Yoon knew what the truth behind the gold. There was a shadow of betray, trickery, conspiracy and blood. She wanted simple life than a princess of an empire of blood.
But , when she saw her incapable brother and childish older sister, she knew that she’s the person-in-charge for the empire. While she stood against storm for her empire, she also slowly exhausted.
At that time, Tae Joo appeared. The tragedy of a princess, who loves beast, starts.
Son Hyun Joo as Choi Min Jae
The son of the vice president of Sungjin Group, Choi Dong In. Nephew of the chairman of Sungjin Group, Choi Dong Sung.
He’s intelligent, courteous, he doesn’t easily show his emotion. He keeps both ambition-of-being emperor and smartness of hiding it.
The original son of Chairman, Won Have is more stupid that he thought. But his uncle, the Chairman, removed him (Min Jae) to protect his real son. Min Jae battles against Seo Yoon fiercely but he starts to scare when he fights against Tae Joo who joins the empire.
Jang Shin-Young as Yoon Seol Hee
Tae Joo’s senior in high school. She’s poor and wanted to be free from poverty badly.
Using her beauty, she starts real-estate consulting business. Men are her tools to reach her dream, but it changes after she meet Tae Joo again. She loves him.
Ryu Seung-Soo as Jo Pil Do
Former gangster, now real estate developer.
When he run real-estate consulting company, he often quarreled with Tae Joo. But after Tae Joo saved him from bankruptcy, he becomes Tae Joo’s right hand man. |

Episode 3 Review: Go Soo Wails Over His Dead Father on the Beach
In Empire of Gold, episode 3, Choi Tae Joo(played by Go Soo) wailed over dead father on the beach.
Tae Joo sold his land to Choi Min Jae(played by Son Hyun Too) and felt empty. He brought all the money he received for selling the land, and spread it to the sea his father’s ashes were.
He shouted, “Here’s the money. I’m going to open mother’s noodle store, send Hee Joo to college, and also live in a small cozy house.”

Episode 3 Review: Cold-Hearted Lee Yo Won
In Empire of Gold, episode 3, Choi Seo Yoon(played by Lee Yo Won) was described as a cold-hearted woman.
Seo Yoon found out about her brother Choi Won Jae(played by Eom Hyo Seup)’s affair, and threatened Park Eun Jung(played by Go Eun Mi). She first convinced, “Don’t consider Won Jae. Just look at me and our family and live with us.”
As Eun Jung kept rejecting, Seo Yoon changed her attitude and called someone on the phone. She said, “Do a background check on the guy who just left the hotel. Eun Jung has all the responsibility of her divorce with my brother, so she won’t be able to have the alimony at all. We can win. Also, do anything to make us have the fostering rights.”
Eun Jung was shocked and explained, “I only met him once.” Seo Yoon hugged her and said, “You just have to live your normal life.”

aah mmg dh tgk ep 1 dan 2...
actually mmg ada 2 cite berat....cite ni n shark juga..
tp tgk le mcm mana kan...klu ada masa terluang tu...ayu tgk je ler..
now base on mana yg kuar sub cepat..tu yg ayu tgk ler..
nampaknya mmg shark ler mendahului kan...

Episode 4 Review: Go Soo Cannot Stop His Ambition
In Empire of Gold, episode 4, Jang Tae Joo(played by Go Soo) could not stop his ambition even after Yoon Sul Hee(played by Jang Shin Young)’s dissuasion.
After Sul Hee got out of jail, Tae Joo said to her, “I’m looking for the ways to postpone the election of the union. We need to find a candidate who will listen to us.”
Sul Hee answered, “I lost a shoe. You know my father used to be a gambler. He took away the house deed while I was sleeping, and I had a dream that night. The next day, the house was gone, my father was gone too. But Tae Joo. I dreamed the same dream last night. The dream about me losing a shoe.” She continued, “Let’s withdraw from this plan. This is too huge for us.”
However, Tae Joo showed his ambition by saying, “The same thing repeats twice in life. It turns out to be a tragedy or happy ending. It’s a lucky dream. I’ll buy it.”

mulanya dh sign contract utk jual tanah pada MJ,...last minute
TJ jual lak tanah tu pada SY...mmg MJ sgt2 marah pada TJ....
TJ berjaya buka kedai makan utk mak dia....adik dia HJ juga dh masuk kolej..
MJ dan ayah dia telah lepaskan segala jawatan dari Sunjin group....
TJ dan SH telah berjaya buka company baru...dlm urusan hartanah...
mmg dia telah berjaya....namun masih byk lagi halangan yg perlu dia tempuhi..
semakin menarik drama ni.....
