Episode 16

Lee Minzhe and Yanxiu were just returning from their dinner at a roadside stall, there was a nice autumn breeze , as they slowly stroll towards the subway station. Minzhe was holding Yanxiu hands and she look better today. Her morning sickness due to pregnancy had improved a lot

Being a man, this was the first time that Minzhe had experienced this so when Yanxiu was throwing up during the early stages of her pregnancy, Minzhe was at his wits end whenever he saw her running into the kitchen whenever she feels unwell. Yanxiu eating habits had changed a lot since her pregnancy and what worry Minzhe most is Yanxiu health condition, how her body is taking all these changes. With the changes this new life is bringing , Minzhe has to face it together with Yanxiu and not back away

What's on your mind "

Minzhe recovered from his thoughts and smile at her : Your health " Looking at the questioning look from Yanxiu , he further explain : Thinking about the time when you were just pregnant .. that was really a tough time

Yanxiu could see the concern in Minzhe eyes and she answered lightly : Yes, that was a time when I use to feel tired very often and sometimes dizzy spells.... Now if you look back at that time.. actually I think it was also hard on you... you had to stand my bad tempers as due to pregnancy.. i have this mood swing.. sometimes i could be in such good mood but so depressed on other days ... But .. that is all over now... with you beside me ... i feel that everything is just wonderful

Yanxiu stopped her steps and turned to Minzhe : Thank you

Minzhe as usual return her thanks with his charming grin . He continue to hold her hands as they head home . Minzhe continue to study his sweet loving wife walking beside him. She had that content smile on her and Minzhe also feel happiness within. He had lost this feeling before.. When he realize that his father was the murderer of Xuanzai father when he want to escape from his heart and hand Yanxiu over to Xuanzai who love her more.. not realizing that Yanxiu had already been a indispensable part of him.. He was worry that he could never bring happiness to Yanxiu , happiness that she truly want and deserve.. So he had choose to escape .. forsaking Yanxiu who truly love him . Looking at the Yanxiu beside him now, he is not longer afraid .. He will let her live happily from now on ..

Lee Xuanzai called Yin Junxi into his room. Today was the training day scheduled for him. Junxi entered into the room tiredly . Looking at his exhausted expression . Xuanzai said :" What happen to you ? "

“Before the company training start.. I want to have a one month leave " Xuanzai recall Junxi’s  request a month ago . Now the deadline is up , and he was thinking the leave was for Junxi to adopt to his new environment.. but from his expression today.. it does not seem to be what Xuanzai had thought

“I am all right . When do the training start .. “

My assistant will pass the timetable to you. But there is a meeting in the afternoon to decide on your singing style and image. Don’t be late.” Xuanzai replied  

Junxi left without a word .. still as arrogant as ever

Xuanzai could only sigh at the closed door in front of him . But his heavy work load did not leave him time to ponder over Junxi . Like now, he had to be at the meeting room to discuss Shina new single album

“Chief, Mr Lee from Avio is here " This coming from the intercom on his table. Xuanzai immediately answered : “Okay. Please ask him and Shina to be at the meeting room "Xuanzai recovered his thoughts just now and picked up the relevant documents for his meeting

In the meeting room, Lee Mingzhe and Xia Jichan are both present. Shina and Nalan also entered the room and when they saw Minzhe, Shina happily greet him :"Hi,  "  

Nalan : "Director , it been a while . Are you feeling okay ? "

Mimzhe smile at her concern and Nalan continue : “What about Yanxiu, she is doing fine ? Everytime I want to call her on the mobile, it is always too late, so I only send her message

Nalan is those kind who could talk non stop once she see her friends, her joyful nature always put people at ease and make you feel better. Minzhe could only respond to her warm concern with a reassuring smile


“Is everyone here ?  So .. we could start the meeting about Shina new single .. "Xuanzai was saying as he entered the room, not wanting to waster any time

Everyone in the meeting room was focus on one matter , this was a rapport established by their long term working relationship

Different time but same place, but the subject of their discussion had changed to Yin Jun Xi . This is Lee Minzhe first meeting with the new comer, and Xuanzai had make the introduction : "This is our newcomer  Yin Jun Xi, Ms Liang signed him up in USA "

“Hi, I am Lee Minzhe,  in charge of all promtional plans " Minzhe had stretch out his hands to welcome Yin Jun Xi standing in front of him .

Yin Junxi appears to be judging Minzhe, and he slightly raise his eyebrows after his inspection and shake Minzhe hands : “You have style , I like that "

Minzhe smile at Yin Jun xi . Looking at the youngster in front of him, he found a sense of familiarity , perhaps it is that same cynical attitude or rather overconfidence .

Xuanzai took out his data and said to Minzhe : "Boss did not really specify what type of album Yin Jun xi should have , so I want to hear the singer's opinion first ""

Liang Mei Mei had been in USA for a long time, apart from the fact that her personal affairs had been settle in Korea, another main reason was that she did not want to be involve in Korea music industry anymore, afraid of picking up unhappy memories. But now, she had taken the initiative to sign up Yin Jun Xi , seems that he must have triggered off the interest to music which Meimei had buried deep inside her .What talent does he really possess ?

“As what I know, now the trend of Korea music is toward technopop music, the tune must be easily remembered and smooth, but there is also the hip hop music style, it could be R&B , it could be soft rock , or it could be with a bit of foreign style.. right  I have always compose my own music, and I am very emotional,   when I am in a good mood, I may not be singing a dance tune , if I am down , I might sing a Latin song that is me, I want to do my own music. “”

Yin Jun Xi had talk about actually what is happening in the Korea music development to the surprise of Minzhe and Xuanzai  

This had always been what Lee Xuanzai been most curious about . Minzhe did not conceal his admiration for Tin Junxi, he smile and said to him : “Heard that you were in US before, how did you learn of all this Korea music development and trend ? by sitting along Korea streets for one month “

Yin Junxi heard Minzhe queries and gave him a knowingly smile which explain all Minzhe doubts.

Yes, Yin Junxi had applied for one month leave to better understand Korea music, and to do that , he had to be close to the people and listen to them , that will capture what the ordinary people are listening to , For one month, he had went to records shop to observe the buying habit of the people , went to the streets to listen to the street performers to see what type of music are they listening to . The report of the company is just data and not accurate .... this is real.  

From Minzhe and Junxi conversation exchange, Lee Xuanzai could not help but admire Junxi , he might really surprise Xuanzai with his talent. Now Xuanzai even surprise himself with how eager he is to listen to this Yin Jun Xi works  

“”Okay, This time you will produce your own EP, the demo meeting will be next Monday, Mr Lee will also be present,   is there any  problems ? Junxi ? "

Yin Jun Xi nodded to accept the arrangement  and Xuanzai continue : “But I must stressed now that if Mr Lee and I are not satisfy with your works, you will have to follow what Muse records will planed for you in the style of your album , you must understand this . “

Junxi stood up and said : "Ok I agree"As he walk out of the room , he bid farewell to  Minzhe :”See you next Monday “”

Once the door is closed, Xuanzai immediately turned and asked Minzhe : What do you think of him
Minzhe looked at Xuanzai who is anxiously waiting for his answer: "He look okay and have character.. But let hope he won’t disappoint me next Monday

Xuanzai : Okay, next money we will know how talented he really is . Xuanzai suddenly felt foolish at his worry .

Episode 17

While everyone is busy with their life , time just slip by beyond our control.

One week later, lee Minzhe and his subordinate Xia Jizhai are at A-vio, busy with the project with the Japanese company to introduce their artist into Korea.  

Minzhe is saying to Xia Jichan:

”Now we has to inform our national TV station what the Japanese company had requested. And also about the fees demand by the radio station for playtime, we need to inform the Japan side. We need to get the promotional posters of the singers from Japan so we could send it out to our media, the promotion work must start well before the singer arrive . ”

Xia was busy taking down what Minzhe had instructed, he always  has a good  working attitude which Minzhe strongly admire. Minzhe : “So I will leave this entire task in your hands, on your trip to Japan. ”

To make the cooperation between the Japanese goes more smoothly, Minzhe had send Xia to Japan, to show how important they value their relationship with them . This is, what Minzhe had learned from his previous business dealings.

Xia assured  Minzhe : “Okay. I will do my best "He looked at his watch and then asked : “Chief, are we going to Muse Records today ? The newcomer Yin Junxi songs demo date ?

Minzhe remembered  that young man who is like a puzzle: “Rite,  I will be there myself. Jizhai, you can take the day off to prepare for your Japan trip ”

“Okay’. Jizhai left the room

Lee Minzhe was tidying up the materials on his table. He switched off his computer and picked up his briefcase to head for Muse Records.

Lee Minzhe put on his suit coat and walk out of the office. He saw the ""Repair in progress’ sign outside the lift. Looking at his watch, he turned immediately towards the exit door to take the stairs . He was walking down the stairs, his mind as usual on office matters. Suddenly, he felt the stairs seems to be swaying right in front of him, he immediately grasp hold of the stairs handle to steady himself .

Just at the moment, there was complete darkness and he cannot see.

“What is going on ?”Minzhe still have no time to ponder over what is happening when everything back to normal and he regain his sight.  He shrugged his shoulder and continue his way down.  “Perhaps I have been working too hard recently and having illusions.” Minzhe was thinking to himself explaining away what had just occurred

Once at Muse Records, Minzhe headed straight for the meeting room, Lee Xuanzai was already inside waiting, and he turned to greet him : “Brother ! You are here ”


Minzhe respond with a smile and asked : “How Shina preparation work coming along ? You asked me to be earlier to listen to Shina New EP, rite ?”

Xuanzai took out  the tape and with a very wide grin : “Smart guy . That is what I actually intended. Just finished yesterday, and I think it should fit Shina . Here’s the earphones . Listen and give your opinion ”


Minzhe took over the earphones and concentrate on listening to Xuanzai new work, while Xuanzai was observing Minzhe facial expression to get a clue of what he think

“Xuanzai , will this song be accompany by a dance routine with slow and fast numbers” Minzhe finished the song and asked .

Xuanzai nod at Minzhe : “Yes. We had hired a dance instructor from US to teach Shina the basic steps , the rest of the dance choreography will also be completed before the EP is done.”


Look at Xuanzai so full of confidence, Minzhe commented : “Now , you really could handle it independently  ”

Just then, the meeting room door opened and in come Yin Junxi, He was wearing a blue baseball uniform, He first smile at Minzhe and Xuanzai and raise the tape in his hands : “DONE”


Right in front of Xuanzai and Minzhe , Yin Junxi inserts the tape into the stereo and presses the play button.

Xuanzai and Minzhe are still in the meeting room . Xuanzai still held in his hands the tape left behind by Junxi. He turned to Minzhe : “His songs ..... it is really different ”

Minzhe nodded lightly in agreement : “Ms Liang really had good judgment . This guy will be the topic of the town ”

Xuanzia placed the tape into the stereo again.  With  piano as the background tune, the rhythm like drumbeats coming from the primeval forest. The drumbeats are so energetic,  like the sound of life .  The tune went into a R&B style folk songs. This is one song that will make the listener both bewilder and captivate.

Yin Junxi had mixed such different music and compose something so special and unforgettable  

Xuanzai finally saw the real talent of Junxi, as a song composer himself , he had to admit and admire Junxi's  talent

“He really is a talent , but just that his character is too stubborn.This has not appear before in Korea music industry, how will the consumer accept this . Muse records need to consider the impact " Minzhe broke the silence and point out his views .

Xuanzai stared at the stereo and nod :" He just agree to accept Muse Records training the course might make him change . Of course.. this is  what I hope too.”

Xuanzai stood up and tidy up the documents and lyrics on the table. He turned to look at Minzhe

“Minzhe was rubbing  his eyes  Xuanzai saw this and asked : Brother Are you all right ”

Hearing Xuanzai’s voice, Minzhe put down his hands. He opened his eyes and saw the concerned look on Xuanzai .

He smile lightly : “I am okay . Perhaps too tired.” In fact he also could not explain the uncomfortable ness that had just happen again

“Don’t stress yourself. If it is time to take a rest you should . You used to be so busy with your work, in the past, and you still have not changed. You cannot go on like this you know ”: Xuanzai was trying to persuade Minzhe

Minzhe looked at Xuanzai  reasoning with him. In his eyes, he is like a good friend but also a brother, he did not speak any words but just pat Xuanzai on the shoulder , as a respond to his concern.

Minzhe and Xuanzai for half of their life, they had faced each other with hate and shut each other out of their heart. When he learnt from his father that Xuanzai is his half brother, Minzhe only thought of his mother who had passed away from illness . How could he treat mother like that . Minzhe started hating Xuanzai and Mingzi and always gave them the cold shoulder . Inside his young heart, there is no hope anymore  
Xuanzai had also learnt to stay away from Minzhe as he knew that no matter how good he treat Minzhe, he will not be appreciated

Now they had resolved their difference and like what Minzhe said : “ If I had known you are not father flesh and blood, we could be good friends. Friends who can enjoy a drink and chat together.

Now they have become good friends, a pair of extraordinary friends .

Episode 18

Lee Minzhe was back from a long day at work. Xia Jizhai was out of town in Japan . Hence Minzhe and Shouzhe were taking over his share of work. This two weeks, Minzhe has been working overtime .

He quietly opened the apartment door and went to his bedroom. He saw there was still light coming out of the room which give him a sense of warmth .When he entered , he saw his wife was lying against a big pillow. Is she aspleep ?

Though he had been coming home late, but Yanxiu will always be waiting for him to come home. Minzhe slowly put down his briefcase and tip toe to Yanxiu side, He bent beside her to look at his wife sleeping face which is so pale and was touching her hair lovingly. Because of work, he had not spend much time to have dinner with Yanxiu, Her condition had not been very good and he was feeling guilty at his neglect as he stared into Yanxiu face .

Seems like she know he is back, Yanxiu slowly open her eyes and stared into this man who is also looking at her with gentleness and love. She said softly : “You are back” She was thinking of standing up when Minzhe stopped her and pulled her straight into his arms and was silent. Yanxiu was caught off guard but was also silently enjoying this closeness where she could feel the familiar warmth from her husband.  After a while, she could not help but asked : “What happen "

Minzhe let go of Yanxiu and replaced his worried look with one that is more relaxed : "Nothing. I am starving !!” Minzhe was using his best look of innocence and acting like a spoiled kid.

Yanxiu does not like to see him worry about her so the only thing he could do for her is to be good to her forever and never be upset in front of her

Yanxiu smiled and look at the playful Minzhe and suddenly exclaimed as she remember something:” Oh no !! The dishes are all finished ! I did not know you are coming back for dinner.  Sorry,  I will go and prepare some dishes !” With that she stood up hurriedly and was heading straight for the kitchen

Minzhe grasped hold of his wife and said : “It okay!  I did not inform you first.  I will take care of my own dinner . You just listen to me and sit here to rest ”

Minzhe pulled her back to the room but Yanxiu could not sit still. She said to Minzhe who was rolling up his sleeves: “It is better to let me do it ”

Minzhe heard her and pretend to be angry at her stubbornness and pointed to the chair behind her : “No! You rest!”

Yanxiu was staring at him and she commented on purpose: Do you want to eat cup noodles? You don't know how to cook ! Just let me do it . Cup noodles are not nutritious. ”And she wa headed for the kitchen the second time   

Minzhe laughed and try to stop her and use his finger to tap her head : “You !! It is a   fact that your husband cannot cook But I have a Lee Family recipe.  Do you want to learn ?”

Yanxiu was looking very interested now and was a dazzling smile immediately raised her hands as surrender , Minzhe took her hands and walk together to the kitchen . “Okay I will teach you . What to do, since you are my only love ! "


Yanxiu was getting the apron to wear it on Minzhe when he said :’ I won't wear that . I am a man  Still need  a liitle respect . "

Yanxiu shake her head. Minzhe is really a true man and sometimes he could be more conservative then most people. Actually a bit male chauvinist . But she love this Lee Minzhe so she has to accept the whole package. Yanxiu smile at this husband of her and placed the apron back to its original place. She asked : “Your Lee Family recipe , what ingredients does it need ”

Minzhe was touching his chin and slowly said to Yanxiu : “I need rice.. can of tuna  that ‘s all

Just when Yanxiu placed what he need in front of him, she could not resist commenting looking at the only two items : “You are not telling me you will just  put the tuna into the rice and eat ?”

Minzhe returned her query with a knowingly smile and he empty the rice into a big bowl he found and pour the can of tuna into it.  Then he said to Yanxiu who had been staring at his actions :  “Do  you have any butter ?”

Yanxiu turned and got the butter from the fridge and handed it to him with a look of puzzlement :" What do you need it for ?

Minzhe took the butter and he got a spoonful of that and put into the bowl . Yanxiu could not believe that he done that : Butter and tuna ? Doesn’t  that normally goes with salad cream

Minzhe was very expertly using a big spoon and start mixing his bowl of tuna, white rice and butter , without any care of Yanxiu confuse look

After several minutes of mixing, Minzhe took the redpepper sauce from the table and add it in, and continue with his stirring. Then he said to Yanxiu : “This is a famous cuisine. You must prepare it for our children in future, He will be as smart as me. '

The moment he finished his sentence , he put a big spoonful of this famous cuisine into his mouth , Minzhe nodded satisfactorily with his mouth full at Yanxiu , and raised his thumb up. Seems he is very pleased and confident at his work

He scoped a spoonful and put it in front of Yanxiu . She frown slightly as she feel quite disgusted thinking of butter with tuna, but seeing Minzhe so full of confidence she just had to force herself to take the rice .

Once she tasted it, the tuna smell was covered by the redpepper sauce it become quite delicious and with the butter, surprisingly it mix very well with the tuna and rice. The fragrance of butter is left in  your mouth after you finished . It was not as horrible as she though and in fact it was delicious .


“So, delicious rite ?” Minzhe has his answer from the smile on Yanxiu’s face . “This dish is called Tuna Bibimbab with redpepper paste.  Simple and tasty. I invented this ”

Yanxiu accompanied Minzhe to finish the rice. While washing  up the dishes she asked : “All along I thought you did not know how to cook, so I really make a wrong judgment ”

Yanxiu did not hear any respond from Minzhe behind her. After she finished washing the dishes, she turned and saw Minzhe deep in thoughts : What happened ?

Minzhe recovered from his thoughts and try to shake off the darkness, once he could see Yanxiu face again , he replied : “Nothing You must be  tired . Rest early . ”

How many times has this happen ? Minzhe was troubled by his condition

Yanxiu looked at him and use her hand to touch his forehead : “Are you feeling unwell. But there is no fever”

Yanxiu concern for him raised another ripple within him, He took her hands and grip it strongly within his own: “Don't worry about me. You should paid more attention to yourself. I am really worry about you now. Do you know that?

Yanxiu understand her own condition, and she is also not sure if her body could ensure a smooth delivery, but for the child and for Minzhe and more importantly for herself , she has to be more confident then anyone.

The happiness she possess  right now was what she has always dream about . “I won't give up .” This was what she had been telling herself

Yanxiu gave Minzhe a comforting and reassuring smile : “Don’t worry , I will be all right ,did you forget , I must be here to give you happiness ”

Miznhe looked at Yanxiu and he felt more assured and finally could relax his heart which has been so uptight with his concern .

Episode 19

Kim Shina was just back from the design department with her new hairstyle , and was chagrining angrily into Muse records basement , where there is a special training room, and Nalan was following close behind, she grab hold of Shina

“Shina What do you want to do ? ”

Seeing the anger in her eyes, Nalan quickly try to persuade her : Just leave this matter to Xuanzai Oh! No ..  Let Chief handle it .. Come on. don't be angry

“Nalan Let go of me !!! Today , I  must settle my scored with that guy . It really irks me !! ”Shina mange to pull Nalan hands off her and continue her way into the dancing room


Shina pushed the door wide open and come face to face with Yin Jun Xi who is in the mist of his dance training : “You there !! It was just tolerable with your usual arrogance !! But NOW You actually took away my dance instructor ! I am doing my new EP dance  training Do you know that , With the teacher gone,, How could you answer to me and Xuanzai !!

Yin Jun Xi had noticed Shina entrance from the wall mirror. He stopped his dance routine and went to switch off the music. He then turned to face the little woman who is definitely a very furious one too

Shina saw that Yin Jun Xi was not responding as she think he should be , and this increase her displeasure with him.  Shina walk towards Junxi ,and was raising her hands ready to slap him. Yin Jun Xi is also not a man you want to offend .  He caught Shina hand and stared at her face which is now red with her anger .

Suddenly he was finding the whole situation so amusing that he laugh aloud : “You really are very stubborn . But no one except my mother could hit me in this life !!

Shina heard that and just shake off his hands very unwillingly. Her eyes were still fill of fury

“Shina!! ” It's Xuanzai . Nalan had went to look for him once she saw that Shina is heading for trouble again

Xuanzai !! Shina immediately ran to his side when she saw him. It all his fault ! He chase the dancing instructor away. Now what should we do?  I still has a photo session and tonight training ? ”

Shina eyes were red with tears as she speak. For the new to be release album, she had put in so much effort and now because of Yin Junxi, all the original plans are going haywire   


Nalan went forward to comfort Shina . Xuanzai also try to console her : “It will be all right: I will handle this.  You go with Nalan to the studio . Today is the cover photo session. You should not be defeated so easily . Go to work first,  I will be there to see you later . ”

Xuanzai words were like magic and Shina manage to calm down under his assuring words. She obediently nod her head and follow Nalan out of the dancing room

As he watched the door to the dancing room closed after them, Xuanzai turned to Junxi : “So... do you have anything to says to me ? ”

Yin Junxi just laughed aloud and asked : “Don’t  you feel that i am doing it for Muse Records ”

“For Muse Records,what does that mean ?” Xuanzai was confused

“I heard that the dance instructor was from US so I was there to observe. But when I saw his dance routine, I knew he is a cheat . A real dancer will not dance like that , I did not chase him out, he choose to leave : ”Yin Jun Xi stretched his back and just says causally

You know dance ? Xuanzai asked

Yin Junxi throw him a knowingly smile and turned to switch on the stereo, he used the most direct answer to Xuanzai questions

“Shina, just train with him .  Listen to Chief, Yin Jun Xi is really  good . Wow .. He is good looking ! and could compose ! now even could dance ! Wow.. Just on this dancing part he is better then Xuanzai " Nalan was commenting to Shina on the car  


“Nalan !! What are you saying ! That long haired weirdo could never exceed Xuanzai ! Shina was slightly offended and was rebuking to Nalan comments with a indifference tone


Shina went down to the basement alone as Nalan had a date with Shouzhe , so she asked Shina to go first . Shina did not know what to say when she saw Nalan so happy. She went defeated to the door.

From the room, she could hear music , there is someone inside . Shina knocked but there was no respond, she pushed the door slightly open and saw Yin Jun Xi covered with sweat, he had tied up his hair into a ponytail and wear a white t shirt . His dance moves were so firm and graceful, defintely better then the previous teacher

Shina remembered how Junxi was rude to her before and that sense of admiration immediately vanished.  Junxi was totally absorbed in the dance and when he discovered Shina , he stopped and smile at her reflection in the mirror .

He turned and walk toward her : “You want to learn now ? So you really trust me ? ”

Shina stared at his arrogant look and her undefeatable temper was ignited again. She raised her chins proudly and said : “I don’t think you are any good too ! So you are afraid others to learn and will exceed you”

Junxi was judging this Shina , is this a real girl ? Her stubborn temper aside, she always seems to harbor this enemity towards him. This is the type that he had not come across, on the contrary , Kim Shina is beginning to raise his interest with her every move and reaction.

As he discovered it is too interesting fighting with her . This time, Xuanzai arrangement to let Shina train under him , may be igniting another war between them ?

Yin Junxi did not respond but just gave Shina a slight grin and just immerse himself into the rhyme of the music that is playing and lost himself into the music  

How dare  he just start dancing like that ! Seeing that Yunxi has never acknowledge her existence, Shina really feel like turning away now .But once she think of her work and Xuanzai ,she could only follow his moves and  gently sway her body to the music

Yin Junxi saw the reflection of Shina in the wall mirror and steal a glance at the clock above , it had been 3 hours . Though Shina was still far away from him  following his movements, but from her dance steps , she is beginning to get serious and also not to let go of any chance to better her dance . Yin Jun xi is really impressed with Shina this time  

He stopped his dance and went to get his towel to wipe his face, and then turned and tossed a clean towel to Shina. He then noticed that Shina was not there . As he was beginning to wonder , Shina walked in and with a bottle of water in her hands, She threw it to Yunxi and he caught it

Shina did not utter any word and just went to sit at the corner of the room. Junxi also went to a place near her and sat down against the wall .

" Thanks"Junxi said to Shina  

Shina looked at the Junxi who is showing first sign of politeness to her and she curiously asked : Aren't you tired ? If I had guessed correctly.. from the time I went for the photo shots and back here to train with you ... have you been dancing here for 6 hours ?

Junxi was removing the rubber band from his hair and nod at Shina question .

Shina eyes show her disbelieve . He then smile at her :”I love dancing !! When I was in US, I used to dance with my American African friends in school and on the streets !!  Could be 7-8 hours easily one day !! This is nothing ”

Sensing Shina stare,  he continue : “Actually your previous teacher was not bad , but he is still not as good as me . So he choose to leave , I did not do anything to him !! “”

Here he goes again .. this over confident guy !! Shina could not help but flip her eyes at his speech and move her glance away.. But what he said later nearly make her split out the water in her mouth

You ... like Xuanzai ? ” Junxi was asking as he stared at the floor


Shina was coughing as she said to him : YOU!! What are you saying ? "

Junxi raised his head and looked at Shina, He saw someone who look likes kid who just had her secret discovered . Shina was blushing slightly. Junxi smile : This is so obvious ? Isn't it so?

Junxi words make Shina unable to deny anything and she was trying her best to calm herself down, looking into the wall mirror and she was thinking of Xuanzai smile : I .... I do like him . ?But I will never be the one he love most !!

What am I saying , This is too much What am I doing saying so much to you , I am going !!

Shina hasty attempt to leave raised Junxi curiosity But he did not stop her. As he look around the empty room now ,he remembered what Shina had said just now . He is still unaware what type of emotional struggle that will happen between him , Shina and Xuanzai.

Episode 20

Jiang Nalan run to where Kim Shina is sitting and listening to her walkman. Nalan immediately heaved  a sign of relief upon seeing  Shina and took her earphones off.

Shina looked at Nalan who is still out of breadth and asked : “Nalan !!What are you doing? I am practicing my song ! Need to go for recording later on .. I don't want to embarrass myself . give me back my ear phones !! ”

Nalan refuse to return the earphones : “What is happening between you and Yin Jun Xi

“Hey Shina , you are not seriously going out with him right. Now ..  Oh , I don't care, just tell me truthfully , you and him .... ”

Shina was staring at the non stop Nalan and suddenly she cut into her mumbling : “What are you saying ? Nalan , Me and that guy ? Are you crazy ??”

Finally, Nalan could relax and laughed after she heard Shina reply, faced with the very annoyed Shina : “I thought ... These few days you have been training with him and love had grown between the both of you .. there is seriously nothing going on ?

Actually, come to think of it, you have only eyes for Xuanzai, so the rumor should not be true "but still after this few days with Yin Junxi , his dance is really better then the instructor and perhaps since she had been in close contact with him.. Shina found that Yunxi is not like the shallow irritable guy he though, on the contrary.. inside his heart seem to be something that is concealed for others to touch

Like there was once , when after training.  Shina was laying on the floor resting.  Suddenly Yin Junxi suddenly said to Shina: In US when I was still young, once as the Americans living nearly were bullying me and
escape onto a African American district, and was suddenly surrounded by about the African Americans  I was really scared. But , then the men did not attack me like I expected, instead they extend a friendly hand out to me , I won't forgot their gesture of friendship . At that time, when we hang out together, they will teach me how to dance. I practice and practice ...continually for over 10 hrs and finally I got it !! and I was like you laying on the floor exhausted .. that time... the feeling was great

Shina sat up slowly and listen to Yin Junxi talking about himself for the first time. She curiously asked Junxi who seem engrossed into his memories : Is this real Yin Junxi then turned his head and look up at the ceiling.. and with a carefree tone : You can believe it or don't ! Shina : Where is your parents , never heard you mention them before
Yin Junxi eyes suddenly had this sense of loneliness which Shina had never noticed. But then he replied in a cheerful tone : They are Fine. They are rich , Wanat to consider, i don't lose out to Lee Xuanzia you know . Why not you just be with me  ?

His sentence just ended and a yellow towel was immediately thrown at him. After she threw out the towel : Shina shouted at him : I warn you another time, That is my freedon, it is none of your bussiness
Junxi took the towel off his face and looked at her thoughtfully : But.. i want to date you !! So .. Lee Xuanzai is my love rival
thinking of that moment, Shina sake her head to get that memory out of her mind, and said to Nalan : Where are we going later on ? I have not seem Yanxiu for a long time , could we visit her secretly ?

Nalan will ready wish they could do that , but once she scan through the diary , she shook her head disappointedly : Today we have too many schedules.. May not be possible .. I think.. perhaps next time

Autumn always seem to have that sense of sadness, the tress along the road had changed its color with the season, and put on a light yellow shade . The Autumn air seems to have a certain smell,, like carrying the news that  winter is coming .. Today , the weather is excellent, and  inside the hospital garden were patients and their family who had come out to enjoy this rare sun light and the fresh air

At the corner of the garden, and in his grey suit was Lee Minzhe sitting alone on the bench . He was bending and with a expressionless face , staring at his grasped hands. his entwined hands were like their owner , deep in thoughts with certain unresolved problems and keep changing their position . Lee Minzhe sign lightly and he straightened up and raised his head to look at the clear blue sky above. He skimmed his eyes at the sunlight , his emotions within was like the sea waves, one after another rushing up to the beach, so fast and cruel attacking his heart again and again

Lee Minzhe shut his eyes and clear his mind of all thoughts, in an attempt to concentrate on one problem, Today he had come to the hospital for checkup ... due to the past week uncomfortableness .. Minzhe recall what the doctor analisis :

Mr Lee , you feel discomfort with your eyes.. after our catscan on your brain .. i think ,, the accident might has some after effect , your eyes might experience temporary blindness. It is because after the accident, the vessel in your brain is showing signs of blood clot very slowly.. this will affect your vision  i will recommend you do a detailed check up and let the hospital confirm your condition, if necessary you may need an operation , i hope you could decide as soon as possible

Lee Minzhe could not believe what he is saying .The doctor words were like some alien language from such that he could not comprehend what was being said : Finally he recovered to ask : You mean ... I might be blind
The doctor nodded : You may need to  have an operation to remove the blood clot brain surgery Anyone will know that is the most dangerous of all operation. Lee Minzhe suspicion as confirmed with the answer from the doctor : Mr Wu told him about the effect of the operation : Brain surgery is like what most people think, it has a certain element of danger, it might affect the movement capabilities or thinking . But if you do not do this operation fast , i am not certain when your sight will last perhaps you could discuss with your family and give me an answer

Yes ! Answer ! I am searching for the answer !! Minzhe recovered from his thoughts . H stared blankly at the scenery before him , he might loss his ability to admire the scene before him .. And Yanxiu .. how should i tell her !! Minzhe feel like his head was splitting apart as the notion of making Yanxiu suffer any pain from knowing his condition .. and had the impulse to just shout at the sky and vent his anger at the injustice that Heaven had done to him when he was beginning to be happy .

Episode 21

Lee Minzhe was alone at his table in A-Vio,. Yesterday’s disappointment and despair at the hospital had been cast aside . Now he is clearing up his table and putting all his documents in the luggage open on the table.

He stared into the empty case and recalled the last time he was also doing the same thing.. That time.. he had wanted to desert Yanxiu, and the painful memories again was refreshed in his mind  

Minzhe slowly placed his laptop into the luggage together with his other documents. Looking at table that is now cleared except for a photo frame . He reached for it and stared at their wedding photo, and  Yanxiu with such a gentle and warm smile, and slowly traced it with his hands.

The sounds of knocking against the glass door broke Minzhe thoughts and he traced the source of the sound and saw Lee Xuanzai outside

Minzhe " Why are you here"

Xuanzai returned Minzhe questioning look and walked right up to him, he seemed angry over something, as his face clearly show his fury . Xuanzai noticed the suitcase on the table and he started his questioning : “Where are you going !! Tell me !Where are you going !! “

“Xuanzai what is wrong with you ?“

Lee Xuanzai looked at his brother, and his mind replay what his senior at the hospital had told him ..

“Hello, Senior ? Yes , this is Xuanzai . Just that the mother of my friend will be transfer to your hospital , just hope you could take care of her ... Yes , a friend .. Okay . Sure ... Next time I will treat you to a drink ..”

Lee Xuanzai was calling his senior as a favor to his friend

He never expected the following news : “My brother .. Oh .. Should be there for Yanxiu I think, there is nothing strange about that ? “

But his face darken once he heard what his senior discovered : “This.. Ophthalmology ?Neurosurgery ?”

Xuanzai hang up the phone and his mind was filled with the medical terms , he had been a medical student and of course he could easily linked up and deduce what was the reason behind Minzhe visit to the hospital


Xuanzai grabbed his car keys from the table and drove straight to A-vio

Once there, and seeing Minzhe packing up his things, he looked in disbelief at his brother. He snatched the wedding photo from Minzhe hands and looked at the two loving couple in the picture.. : “You want  to run away again !! You have your responsibility now !! How could you just abandon and flee !! Don’t you have enough courage to face the problems !!!  “

Minzhe looked at Xuanzai so tense with his anger and the air around them was nowcharged with anger and pressure from their silence ..

Minzhe could not understand why Xuanzai was in such fury and he just stare at him for a long moment and suddenly he quietly reached out to take back the photo in Xuanzia hands.. and carefully packed it into his luggage and closed the suitcase ..

He then slowly raised his head to face the questioning and angry glance from his brother .. who seem really to make his judgment on him for whatever reason that had caused his outburst

“I was going to Muse to look for you .. Yes I am leaving .. You don’t have to use that expression on me.. I think you are mistaken ... I am going for an assignment in Japan , Ji Chan is having problems there and I think...”  Minzhe was slowly explaining

Xuanzai finally released his tightened fist  after hearing his brother explanation : "What about your health ? “

Minzhe was taken aback when he heard Xuanzia question , and he then understood his brother’s anger and smile : “I have no intention of hiding it from you ... Yes .. there is some problems with my health .. This trip to Japan is also partially for my health problems, I had already make arrangements through my Japanese friends to schedule a detailed check up. I will have my body check up in Japan,.. Before this, after I packed I was going to tell you all this.   Did not expect that you will get the news so fast !! I was quite surprised..”

He looked at Xuanzai and then make his request : “Now the only worry I have is Yanxiu . There are a lot of changes in herr condition . I cannot stay beside her and this is my greatest concern.. I was thinking  …”

Xuanzai immediately stopped his brother sentence : You want me to take care of them again . Father Minzhi and even Yanxiu ??? I think .. you still have not told Yanxiu rite .. I am telling you .. I cannot help you !!

Minzhe listened to Xuanzai 's determined tone : “Xuanzai ?”

Xuanzai is the only one that Minzhe could entrust his family to without any worries now hearing his brother's denial tone caught Minzhe off guard

Xuazai stared at his brother : “Unless you promise me !! No matter what is the results of your examination .. you must return ..!! You cannot escape by yourself and let your loved ones live in fear and worry about you..

Xuanzai was concerned ... Once Minzhe knew the successful rate of his operation, he might bear the burden himself and never come back

Minzhe listen to his brother request and went up to him and placed is hands on Xuanzai shoulder. He nod his head as a silence acceptance of Xuanzai request ..

Today is the day that Minzhe is going for his Japan assignment , Lee Xuanzai went to Minzhe house to drove him to the airport

Minzhe was coming down stairs with his luggage and Yanxiu was following behind him Xuanzai help him to put his luggage into his car.. Minzhe turned to Yanxiu who still look very worried with her husband trip "It cold now , you should be inside the house .Xuanzai will drive me to the airport”


Yanxiu looked at Minzhe  “But .. I want to send you off ”

Xuaznai who was standing at one side, turned to Minzhe who seems to be in a tight spot to refuse his wife ..” Brother, let Yanxiu go .. I will send her back later”

Miznhe saw the smile on Yanxiu face upon hearing Xuanzai suggestion and he had to agree. Anything as long as his wife is happy

On the route to the airport.. Yanxiu and Minzhe were sitting at the back .Yanxiu leaned her head against Minzhe shoulder.. She was staring at  his face contours with her eyes, trying hard to look closely at her husband before he leave . Minzhe look at her and could feel her intent stare filled with reluctance.

This was the first time since their marriage , they are to be separated from each other   

He asked gently : “Are you feeling unwell ?”


Yanxiu shook her head and simile at her husband “No .. I was thinking .... did you bring enough clothes? Now Japan should be quite cold ... and you did not bring a lot of clothes ”

Minzhe : “Oh , you are worry about this . Don’t worry . I know how to take care of myself ”

In the departure hall , Minzhe had confirmed his seat and walk back to where Yanxiiu and Xuanzai were waiting .

He said to Yanxiu : “You must take good care of yourself .. If there is anything, call me immediately .. or Xuanzai ... And ..”

Yanxiu “ I know .. You just concentrate on your work . Don’t worry about me .. I know how to take care of myself ”

Minzhe looked at Yanxiu for a long while and finally he could not resist and pulled her into his arm.. Before he leave , he want to feel her warmth for the last time ..

He slowly released her and said : Wait for me !! I will be back as soon as possible . You must wait for me !!

Yanxiu nodded and fought hard to control the tears in her eyes, she did not want Minzhe to know her tears ..

Minzhe now feel reassured and turned to his brother : "I will leave everything in your care now . Thanks  "

Xuanzai understand his brother message and nodded

“Okay! I had to go now .. You two better go back too .””

Watching Minzhe as he walk towards the departure gate .. Yanxiu gently asked Xuanzai beside her : "He will be back , rite ?  “

Xuanzai thought that this was just question from Yanxiu who was unwillingly to part with her husband . and answered in a light hearted tone : “ It’s just for an assignment
He will be back before you know it .. Don’t be like this.Otherwise I will get jealous ”

“Xuanzai .There is  no need to lie to me . I know .. about Minzhe not feeling well. I can sense it I am the closest person to him .. I know he did not want to tell me about this. He just  afraid it will make me feel even worse in my condition .. So .. the only thing I can do now is to wait for him to come back .. I know! ....”
Xuanzai really did not know who to answer seeing the strong and determined look on Yanxiu

Yanxiu gazed at Minzhe receding figure.. and in her heart, she make an oath to herself  :  “I will wait for you .. I will be right here waiting ..”

Episode 22


Lee Xuanzai, wearily opened the door to his office in Muse Records . Today , there was a gathering for music industry . Xuanzai being the head of Muse , was hence on the invitation list  . Xuanzai frown with disgust as he remembered how everytime he come back from such mingling, it increased his dislike of the  reality of the music industry .He can never accept nor get used to the power struggle in the business world

After the collapse of Victory Records, Muse Records, with their strong capital support and pool of talented composers and singers, managed to get a share of the market and is now the emerging leader of the industry . This also attracted alot of other companies who on the front put up the pretence of cooperation, but are plotting and vying for the place of market leader from Muse Records

Xuanzai opened the door and sat on the sofa ,he laid his head back ..to handle those businessmen, he had to drink with countless of people he don’t even know . Among them was one Mr Che who introduce his daughter to him.. in the hope to marry her to the most eligible bachelor  in the industry..

“It is really ridiculous” .All of a sudden, .Xuanzai could not stand the life he is living ....   

Sudddenly , he feel a sense of coldness over his closed eyes. He used his hands to touch the wet towel. and removed it . And saw Shina smiling face before him :

“Shina You are still here ?? “Xuanzai was surprised at her appearance .

“Yes.. Just finished my recording. and saw you come back in the cab ..so ... I came up to look in on you. Are you all rite?  Why force yourself to drink , you are not a good drinker ! You are really ...”

Shina could not help commenting on Xuanzai , only when seeing his slight frown at her nagging ,did she stop.

Seeing that Shina had stopped, Xuanzai : “So how’s the duet with Yin Junxi coming along .. Is everything going smoothly? ”

To help Yin Junxi entered into the Korea market, Muse Records had decided to use duet strategy, to pair up with the current hot star, Shina with newcomer Yin Junxi. With a love duet pair up , to be released together with Shina new EP.   This will  increased Junxi popularity and let the Korea accept him. And then once he release his own album, it will be a hit. Initially, Shina was against it , but since Xuanzai make the final decision, Shina had no choice but to accept .

Apart from her own EP, Shina now had to train with Jun Xi on the love duet ... Ever since Junxi declaration of love, Shina really feel Junxi’s passion towards her .Now, he is extremely  good to her ... sending her gifts like roses.. food . Shina is still as hostile towards him. Junxi also did not paid attention to those curious stares around him towads his change, and he was only nice to Shina ... Shina was clueless on what should she do ..


“Ya… It is running smoothly .. going to start promotion soon .. ”Shina managed to evade Xuanzai eyes while she answered.

“Junxi is a good singer, maybe he will be the next megastar.. ” Xuanzai was saying as pressed the towel on his eyes

Shina moved to his side slowly and gently sat down beside him . She was so cautious in order not to spoil the atmosphere now, because she had not been so close to him for a long time

Shina looked at the face now covered hidden under the towel, and looked at the man she loved so much . She did not know that outside the door ... there is someone also silently staring and observing them . Yin Jun Xi... He saw the love in Shina eyes as she looked at Xuanzai. He left quietly

Shina walked into the record room happily, and she avoids eye contact with Yin Jun Xi purposely.  This make him feel very upset and he spoke sarcastically : What happen to you ? You are too happy today “

Shina remembered what happen last night, the time she spend with Xuanzai.. He was drunk yesterday but in the middle of the night when he woke to discovere Shina laying beside him asleep. He could not bear to wake her up , and hence took the coat to cover her..

Shina had turned slightly from her sleep and grab hold of Xuanzai hands. She was mumbling and hold onto his hands tighter.. Xuanzia saw that he is not going to get back his hands, and hence sat back to where he was . Shina seem to sense his presence near her and went straight to his arms . Xuanzai could not help but smile at Shina actions and placed a light kiss on her forehead: “Sleep tight , we are all tired today ...”

Though it was a very vague memory , but Shina is still immersed in a sense of happiness and sweetness…

Shina happily announced to Junxi : “Yes!! I am in a very good mood today !!”

Junxi saw her dazzlingly smile and said lightly : “Hope your good mood will last ”

Shina was puzzled by his comments and stared at him .. But soon Junxi took a sunflower from behind his back and handed it to her. Shina took the flower “Thank you ”

But Junxi did not respond like he used to everytime he send her flowers, there will always be jokes to make Shina happy . He just turned and left the room .

Standing alone in the recording room Shina stared at the sunflower and was still guessing the reason behind Junxi silence today..

On the other hand, Junxi had marched right into Xuanzai room, and looked straight at Xuanzai busy at the computer. Xuanzai raised his head and saw the him

“Is something wrong ”

The forever arrogant Juxi,just continue his stare at Xuanzai , with such a deadly intent like he  wish  he would disappear.  Junxi did not speak a word as he turned and left  

Xuanzai watched his retreating back, and thinking about the rumors in the office , that Junxi and Shina relationship had improved that might not be a bad thing .Was it something to do with that

He went back to his work. , he was just too busy with the matters at hand…

With the launch of the new EP, Shina and Junxi began their promotion work, interviews with the television station, radio stations. And with arrangement of AVio , Shina and Junxi new duet “First love”  will be tied up with the new drama “Wings of the Angel”. As the drama viewership is climbing high on the charts , this song had gone to second place on the charts. On the same day of release, there were alot of other established singers releasing their albums,and this new EP was a black horse and the results is very impressive .

And with the strong exposure of Shina in the media, the fans are also drawn to her new partner Yin Junxi. His cool appearance had captured the hearts of the female fans Muse records received numerous phone calls from allover Korea to ask about him and it nearly jammed their phone system ..

Xuanzai was very pleased with the project . Previously he was  concerned Junxi’s straight forward character might delay the album ,but Junxi’s acceptance by the media was surprisingly overwhelming . His own single will also be released soon

Muse records again score another victory

“Hi what are you doing ?” Shina had saw Junxi at the backstage of the TV station. He had just come out of the makeup room with a phone and went to stairway

Junxi stared at the Shina in front of him and grabbed her hands . Seeing the blankness in his face, make Shina feel an unknown fear, and took a step backwards. “What do you want ??”

Junxi used his strong arms and pulled her towards him .. as she is now closer.. Junxi leaned forwards and Shina could only watched in shock as his face come closer to hers ..Just as when he was about to kiss her . he laugh and released Shina and left the stairway  

Shina put down the hand she had raised up, which was intended as a slap for Junxi should he dare to make his move .. Luckily nothing happen.  but Shina was puzzled by his reaction . He really is mad  !! Shina was telling herself .. But why is her heart beating so fast ...

Episode 23


In the apartment, Yanxiu was happily preparing dishes for dinner. Minzhe had called today with the news he  will be in back Korea soon . Minzhi, who was watching her sister in law busy in the kitchen, could feel her happiness and good spirits at the news of Minzhe return. She was also helping Yanxiu happily with the preparation.

Minzhi smiled when she saw the whole table full of Minzhe favorite dishes. She is really glad that her brother is so happy to have found such a devoted wife and herself too , to have such a wonderful sister in law. Hope they will be happy like this forever. Minzhi was thinking as she looked at the smiling Yanxiu in the kitchen..  

The doorbell rang . Minzhi immediately rushed to open the door

Minzhe,in his business suit and wearing his sunglasses, was standing outside. Minzhi shouted with joy : “Brother!! Welcome home.!! " And she still remember to bow and make a gesture to invite her long awaited brother into the house

Minzhe looked and smiled at his playful sister and rubbed her head like a little kid .. he carried his suitcase into the house and just saw Yanxiu coming out of the kitchen.

He removed the sunglasses and looked lovingly at his wife : I ...am home !!

Seeing the husband , whom she had missed day and night for the past few weeks, Yanxiu was so welled up with emotions and could only respond : “You are back ..safe and sound !! ”

Today , the autumn air seemed to have disappeared . The sun is high up in the sky with a gentle breeze in the air. The sea is so peaceful and clam, with the clear blue sky ..

Yanxiu was wearing a pink blue maternity cloth and standing on the familiar beach.

She looked around contentedly with a smile at the familiar place, a place that she will never forget. This beach contains the initial and most memorable of their love, which is forever engraved into her heart. Their first love vows to each other , the first time she let Minzhe entered into her life and heart, and certain that he is the one she wants . This place....

Lee Minzhe ,come back after arranging for their overnight stay at the inn. He saw Yanxiu on the beach and walked quietly towards her..He silently took off his jacket and placed it over Yanxiu . She immediately turned and return with a gentle smile :  “The weather is good today”

Minzhe put his hands on her shoulders and gazed up at the sky. He took in a breadth of the air and nodded lightly. He asked with concern : “Tired ?’

Knowing his worries. Yanxiu immediately replied : No ...I am not tired .. Look !! This place is so familiar,with the same scenery and most importantly ,the same you beside me . I feel...I really am very happy ...”

Minzhe understand what Yanxiu is saying . This seaside..

Minzhe had always closed himself up ,as he did not believe in love, .Once in love,you cannot control your own emotions, hence he will never let himself fell in love nor did he think he will be able to love anyone. But....at that time,  he had discovered that he had fallen madly in love with Yaxniu, or was it jealousy?? having known that Xuanzai had also fallen in love with Yanxiu like himself ?

Yanxiu ,who had gotten off his car angrily, and had taken the bus to Seoul.. Watching her retreating back, the disappointed Minzhe had silently closed up the door to his heart that he was prepared to open ..for her.. Just as he turned to watch the bus drove off , he saw Yanxiu staying there, and the lock to his heart was again opened .

Minzhe walked towards Yanxiu, and hold out his hands ..Yanxiu stared at his outstretched hands which had given her pain, and confusion, the hands that have been so emotionless ,so cold ..

She raised her slightly trembling hands and placed it lightly into his hands.. He grabbed it strongly and she could feel the warmth and hence...Yanxiu once again was in his car driving towards a place where he promise will change her life...to this beach..

Immersed in the past. Minzhe was smiling at their memories and closed his hands tightly around his wife ...

Yanxiu turned and looked at her husband.. Her mind was on the previous days events

The night when Minzhe was back home He finally told her the truth and his decision to take the operation to retain his sight.. Though Minzhe had spoken to her calmly,  but.....it must have taken him great courage to tell her...

Minzhe had undergone the check up in Japan and hence understand more about his condition.. The only way is to have the operation. However, the operation is to be performed at the sensitive area within brain, which may affects the movement controls ability.. And, in view of Minzhe condition, the part of his life which will be mostly affected after the operation will be.... will be his ...memory

After Minzhe told Minzhi and his father about his decision, he had to comfort his sister who cannot stop crying ...

Minzhe and Yanxiu went back to their room. he pulled Yanxiu to sit in front of  him  . He gently smooths his hands lovingly over her hair and pulled her hands into his. “Next week, I will have the operation. All the company’s affairs I have handed it to Jican in Japan, he will take care of it ”

All the while , Yanxiu had kept her head down , and Minzhe stopped his sentence and frown: Yanxiu ! Don’t worry. I will be fine ..”

He gentle raised her face up and wipe her tears.. Minzhe suddenly felt so disgusted at himself for making her cry again
....
He changed into a more casual tone : “Since I have some holidays before next week, why not we go for a trip !!”

Minzhe gently placed a kiss on Yanxiu hands and smiled secretly : “I will take you to a place which is very meaningful  to me ”

Meaningful... Recalling Minzhe words, Yanxiu laid her head on his shoulders and asked : “Will you forget about this place .”

Miznhe did not reply . He  did not know what memory he will lose after the operation

Will it be the days when he and Yanxiu were in love ? Will it be the conflicts with Xuanzai ?or his lonely youth?  ..or his own sister? .. or even himself? and of course will that include his beloved wife sitting right beside him …

Minzhe turned and bring her near to the seaside, and walk slowly with Yanxiu along the beach .The waves splash up the beach ,creating small white bubbles on the sand , Yanxiu and Minzhe walked along the beach as if they will never reach the end

Minzhe entered  the room where they are spending the night, and saw that Yanxiu had already laid under the covers. He tried to close the door as lightly as possible, afraid any sound will woke her up.

Just then ,Yanxiu turned over and saw him, he frown slightly thinking he had woke her up. But he immediately simile and then turned off the light and went rite into the arms of his wife ...  

Yanxiu was laying on Minzhe shoulders, her favorite place, where he can feel her presence..They just laid silently together listening to the sea , this was the best lullaby

After some moments, Minzhe spoke :”’What should we do ... If ....I forget you ... "his voice sound so helpless amidst the sound of the sea

Yanxiu : “If you really forget.. I won’t want you to remember . I know it will be too painful, I want to let you live afresh.. and feel again .and create new memories...happy memories  ”


Minzhe was moved by her words.. and pulled her closer to him and kissed her forehead : “But ...I cannot and don’t want to forget you ... I only know what I want after I know you . Each memory is so important to me ....I cannot bear to think.... if I lost all my memories...and cannot recover ..WIll I be just like an empty shell...Like ...the living dead ”

“Yanxiu.. Will you want to be my soul? to renew the life into the empty shell....to let it have hope again ”

Yanxiu placed her head on his chest...and answered : “I will ! I will do my best to make you happy  ”

“Dont leave me !!” Minzhe hold her : “Don’t abandon me ”

Minzhe worst fear was that if Yanxiu leave him, if she is no longer by his side, and he lost all the happy memories about them ... Then he will really be just an empty shell .

Episode 24

The whole crew were holding a celebration party as the drama “Wings of Angel” ended with very high viewership. It was a joyous occasion .

The reporters were eager for this good opportunity to interview the
respective cast and also the singer of the theme song , Kim Shina.

Shina was wearing her evening gown for the part, a little white dress, that gave her a refresh and innocent look.

Jiang Nalan, who was busy attending to the media secretly asked Shina : "Why is he still not here, where is Yin Junxi ? The reporters want to have a picture of your both ..This is really frustrating !! ”

Shina pulled Nalan aside and told her secretly : “Yesterday, he told me,  he is going back to US "

“WHAT ! ” : Nalan shouted but quickly covered her mouth when she noticed others’ stare on them

“Why ?” Nalan frowned and asked

Yin Junx was popular upon his first appearance ,and his music had since raised a revolution in the music industry. His perfect image had captured the eyes and heart of teenagers girls . but apart from this ..his music is also recognized by most young generation…Now, the music you hear on the street is most likely the works of Yin Junxi..He had also been hailed as the master of street music.

Any EP and singles of his , once released will top the charts ..Today, the presence of the two most hottest duet Yin Jun xi and Shina is the reason why the media turnout is so overwhelming. Why return to US when his fame is so strong ?

“I dont know ! I asked him.! He just replied : “I have no time! ”Shina was  once again staring at the closed doors .

Nalan : “I think..maybe he failed to capture your heart ,  this is his last retort ? ”She was laughing as she make this suggestion but soon quite down when she realized Shina angry stare at her. She put her hands over Shina shoulders  : Okay , I wont joke about this anymore..

Later,  Xuanzai ..Oh .should be .Chief will be here, rtie  ? This drama is really something ,  the celebration is on such big scale even I also had to wear such formal gown ”

Shina cast Nalan a look . she was showing off her blue pantsuit.. “You called this a gown !”

Nalan looked very pleased and nodded : “She Zhe helped me choose this !”.

Shina noticed the blush on Nalan face once the name is mentioned and can only agree with her

Just then the doors opened and the manager of the TV station and Xuanzai walked in. The place immediately quiten down. Xuanzai , in his dark green suit follow the manager up to the stage . Shina looked at the dashing Xuanzai, and he discovered her too. He smiled at her . Just after the thank you speech by the manger , Shina noticed that a beautiful lady had appeared beside Xuanzai . She keep looking at him with a gentle smile and this make Shina feel uneasy , she stop smiling and turned her head pretending not to see Xuanzai

Ever since his identity as Zero, the virtual singer had been
exposed.Xuanzai every movement was under observation by the music industry. And with his position as the manager of a record company, a lot of girls who are eager to make a name are anxious to throw themselves at him. Shina had seem such girls waiting at the office floor. Intially she had throw tantrums with Xuanzai over this , but as she understand Xuanzai attitude , she know that to spoil her mood over this type of trivial matters , is not worth it

She secretly cast her glance towards the stage again, and saw that Xuanzai was happily chatting with the girl, Nalan gave Shina a push :  “Who is that girl ? How come she is so close to Chief ? This doesn’t look like previous cases. Normally , Xuanzai will keep a distance

“I don’t  know !! ”Watching this unusual situation, Shina cannot control her fury and just turned and marched out the door

Just as Shina was opening the door, she heard a voice from outside "Where are you going?”

Yin Junxi was wearing a red color suit, the color doesnt look weird on him but rather surprising had a style of it own. He had tied up his hair which he normally wore it causally down. showing his pair of beautiful ears. He was staring at the furious Shina .

She did not reply.

Junxi passed the rose in his hands to her. Shina cast a disgusted look at him but he did not seem to mind and he broke the rose and placed the flower onto her hair. And, without waiting for her protest, he had took her hands and lead her back to the hall..

With their appearance together , the media immediately swarmed up and surround them. With the presence of the reporters, Shina had to control her temper and walk with  Junxi  to the centre of the room .

Xuanzai had also come down from the stage and was walking towards them. Upon the request of the reporters, the three had to pose together for a picture. Xuanzai out of habit placed his hands over Shina shoulders..

Shina could feel the warmth from the hands but .in her heart she feel only coldness..a sense of lose which she had never experience before

“Hi Shina ! .Did you know ..when you were standing with Junxi and Chief ,you look just like a princess. You in white being loved by  Xuanzai in dark green suite and Junxi in the red ..Wow..so beautiful !!. really wish Yanxiu can see this too ..Hei.. Shina where are you rushing off to..Shina ?  ”Nalan was shouting at the back of Shina who was leaving the hall .

Shina did not stop her steps and but just shout to Nalan who had manage to catch up

“Nalan !! I just want to have a walk, you can go back first  ”..she left without waiting for a reply

Pu Zhenying , was coming home very tiredly from work , and discovered Shina squatting outside her door .

She asked surprisingly : “Shina,  is that you ?”

Shina,  had never make the initiative to appear in front of Zhenyin,  is now at her house.

Shina heard her and stood up : “Can I go in ?”

Zhenyin stared at her and quickly replied : “Oh of course ! ..Please come in. I am so sorry, everything is in such a mess ”

Following Zhenyin into the house . Shina sit at the corner of the house. This was a small house with simple furniture but the humble surrounding gave Shina a very warm feeling

Zhenyin gave Shina a hot tea and just sit beside her ….but after a moment of silence she could not help but asked curiously
Shina , today ….you..  .. ? ”.

Shina cut off her question  and emotionlessly rebuked  : “Don’t be mistaken, I am not here because of you, I just come here to have  a look"


Shina also cannot understand why,  she , the usually strong and determined one is so vulnerable today..

Was it seeing the other woman beside Xuanzai..or .

that Junxi is leaving..Yanxiu and Nalan had found their happiness, but what about myself . She suddenly felt so lonely and found herself at the door of Zhenyin

Looking at the very unfeeling Shina , Zhenyin disappointingly answered : "Oh ..I understand "

It been so long , Shina attitude towards her had not changed because of the blood ties between theem, she could not help but feel disappointed and lost

Shina steal a glance at Zhenyin and she took a deep breadth before she asked : “Does.. my mother look exactly like you?”

Zhenyin looked at Shina who seem so troubled.

Shina looked straight into her eyes and asked again : “Do you think my mother ..If she is still alive..will she be by my side.? .hold me when I am sad ..and tell me dont worry, mother is here..and laugh with me when I am happy ??”

Zhenyin took Shina gently into her arms..the way Shina had asked her questions. made Zhenyin heart ached. This is not the usually stubborn and strong Shina. Today she is just..lonely..Why ?

“You must be wondering what is wrong with me today ..right !! ” :Shina pushed her aside and asked her seriously


“Now . I feel so lonely..When I was in the orphanage there was only Yanxiu to look after me like a sister .but I broke her heart..

I dont like anyone !! I dont trust anyone!! .They changes.! DO you know what is real ? Till I meet Xuanzai  That was the first time I realize why I was in this world.!! .He make me feel there is hope ..but. I am so tired !! really tired..you can call me selfish .but I only want Xuanzai to see me ..only me in his eyes !!!

But I am so afraid..afraid I will change!!  ”

She did not finish her words but was just stunned from what she had uttered. .

Looking at the worried look on Zhenyin,  she immediately put on her pretence to hide herself.

“What am I doing talking to you !!! Forget it ..I am leaving.  Goodbye!! ”

Shina took her bag and rushed off in silent anger .

Zhenyin was too shocked at Shina sudden action to say anything .She just feel a pain. Knowing that her Shina is troubled by love.

Episode 25


On the scheduled date, Lee Minzhe was laying on the hospital bed, ready for his operation.  

Apart from the nurse, his wife Yanxiu was also beside him . She was holding his hands and looking lovingly at him on the bed. Minzhe looked at the people surrounding him. He smiles at his father and sister standing  and he squeezed Yanxiu hands and said to her softly :

“Don’t worry. Everything will be okay. I won’t change. You must take care of yourself . I should be angry with you,  you have not been sleeping well this few days ..this won’t do . ”

After the nurse had given him the injection, she turned and said to the family : “Time is up .  Mr  Lee is going into the operation room , please wait outside ”

The two nurses began to push his bed. Yanxiu hurriedly spoke to Minzhe : “I ….will wait for you here”

Minzhe smile at her..Yanxiu was in a daze, as she watch her husband leaving her sight.  

Minzhi saw this, and immediately comfort her : “Don’t worry, sister in law , brother will be okay  ”

Seeing Yanxiu respond with a nod. Minzhi continue : “I will wait with you ..I told dad to go back first.  I was afraid he will be too worry. .And you also need to look after your health "

Minzhi had noticed that Yanxiu had not looked well these few days. She must be stressed out over her brother operation.

Before it was due to her negligence that she had not noticed Yanxiu condition . Hence Yanxiu had collapse soon after their wedding..Now Minzhi is very careful and watch over Yanxiu health condition . She doesn’t want to lose someone who is so very dear to her .

“Okay”.Yanxiu replied weakly and watch the operation light went on. She sat with Minzhi along the corridor of the hospital waiting for Minzhe to come out .

Lee Xuanzai and Shina , Nalan was also outside the operation room .

Shina immediately went to Yanxiu side : “Had Minzhe went in ..there were some delay in the program so we are late ..Yanxiu ..Are you okay ?”

Nalan also noticed that Yanxiu had become very pale : “Yanxiu.. You.. ”

Xuanzai who was talking go Minzhi at one side heard them and rushed to Yanxiu side  

He looked at her and Yanxiu was trying to avoid their questioning . She was trying to speak but it seem her strength was slipping away..she feel so weak and helpless

Seeing Yanxiu pale face and her lack of reaction ...Xuauzai quickly instruct  Minzhi : “Minzhi !!  Get the doctor here !!  Quick !!

Minzhi immediately turned to call for the doctor

Shina and Nalan were very worried now. “Xuanzai…Yanxiu …is she having a relapse ?? .But isn’t it okay before …Why now ?

Shina saw how sick Yanxiu looked and she asked with worry : “Xuanzai..Yanxiu ?

Xuanzai was holding Yanxiu in his arms : “I am not sure about the details .I just hope it is not what I think”



“Oh !!! What is wrong !! Just say it !! ”Nalan cannot control it anymore

Xuanzai looked at the worried faces before him. He doesn’t want to alarm them :

“Just wait till the doctor is here.”

The nurse had immediately push the bed here: “Please get her on the bed”..

Xuanzai hold Yanxiu : “Yanxiu .. you need to see the doctor ..just get onto the bed ”

Yanxiu opened her eyes and shake her head : “No!! I want to wait here”
“What are you saying !! .You are already in such a condition .. I dont care ! Just get her onto the bed ..”

Nalan immediately pulled her onto the bed and went with Xuanzai and the nurse to seek the doctor help .

“Senior !! Is she …Yanxiu condition ??”:  Xuanzai had been waiting for her doctor Cheng Xianqun ..

He put the documents heavily onto the table ..and said : “Xuanzai, you studied medicine before . With her present condition, it is not very optimistic. We had to operate ! ”

Xuanzai closed the door silently. The analysis on Yanxiu was being replay  in his mind over and over again .

Nalan who come running with coffee in hand : “What is the situation now! ..Yanxiu...she ? ”

Xuanzai placed his hands on Minzhi and Shina shoulders and answered sadly :

“ Yanxiu ..she must have an operation. .An early delivery..her body stamina is at the maximum and cannot continue anymore . Otherwise both mother and child will be at danger . ”

Shina cannot believe what she was hearing and asked in shock : “Are you saying.. if there is no operation ..Yanxiu will die ?

“She won’t die!!  ..Right ,Xuanzai !! .IF anything happen to Yanxiu..then my brother..yanxiu ..”Minzhi was asking as if in a daze and in shock

Xuanzai was filled with despair when he looked at the heart broken people infront of him

“If Yanxiu is to live..there is only one option!! T o have the operation. As for the baby..we .. we can only hope that heaven will have pity and let it stay ! ”

Nalan who was already in tears exclaimed when she heard Xuanzai last sentence : “Yes !! ..We must have hope ..don’t lose faith. Mr Lee is still in operation..and Yanxiu ..”

Minzhi!!  Shina!!  don’t be upset . I believe that they won’t leave us so easily.  !!!

Minzhe and Yanxiu is now  facing a door that might open towards life or death..what will be the final ending ??

We can only pray for them silently ..that they can overcome this crisis ..

Episode 26


Along the corridor of the opposite hospital building , Lee Xuanzai was pushing the wheelchair, with Lee Minzhe in it

Minzhe was going mad thinking over Yanxiu condition . He is so confused and emotional about what had happened  

Since Minzhe just had a major operation, Xuanzai had requested that he be wheeled in a wheelchair to see Yanxiu , in case he is over exhausted . Seeing Minzhe looking so uneasy and worry with both hands grasped strongly. Xuanzai gently said: "Just round the corner and you will soon see her"

The door opened in front of Minzhe , and he saw Yanxiu smiling face looking at him . She had as promised , welcoming Minzhe with her smile .

Minzhi who was there earlier , put a pillow under Yanxiu head , so she could see Minzhe better , since she is still  confined to the bed .

Xuanzai push the wheelchair towards the bedside . Minzhe finally relaxed and give a breath of relief, his previous anxiety and worry gone . Unable to conceal his happiness , he grinned and hold Yanxiu hands tightly in his own, the two were silent , just looking at each other , glad that the other is still here .

Seeing Yanxiu smile , Xuanzai and Minzhi watching their tightly held hands , Xuanzai looked at Minzhi , they both have the same thinking and leave the room to Minzhe and Yanxiu.

Just as he closed the door , Xuanzai saw the look of happiness  on Yanxiu. He smiled and closed the door  

Minzhe held Yanxiu hands , as their hands are grasped together  ,they also felt the the emotions that are running though them .

Yanxiu was  still on the drip , Minzhe was silent as he watched the drops of droplets flowing down,

He said: "Did you know ….I was nearly scared to death !! ..Xuanzai and Minzhi  purposely seem to leave out the details …I thought …I even think that ..you are leaving me…abandoning me !! "

Yanxiu glanced at the bandaged on Minzhe head and said apologetically : "I am sorry …I did not keep my promise to wait outside the operation room for you "


Hearing Yanxiu words, Minzhe finally could relax his heart that had been wrenched together . Seeing that Yanxiu face is still pale , to cheer her up, he playfully raised his eyebrows and said in a very cheerful tone : "Heaven must have taken pity on me , to have an operation alone and send you into the operation room to keep me company …..!! "

"We are not even in the same operation room ": Yanxiu laughed and replied seeing the familiar smiling Minzhe again , Yanxiu : "This is so great ! ……..Actually …I was so afraid that you wont remember me …But when Minzhi told me you do remember ..I was so happy !! "Minzhe nodded lightly , understandingly her feelings.

Yanxiu placed her hands on her stomach and asked :" You …have you been to see our child ? "

Since leaving his room to come to Yanxiu , Minzhi and Xuanzai had kept  silent , and so when hearing Yanxiu mention their child, Minzhe was looking at her with a surprise but filled with anticipated expression..

Looking at his shocking expression , Yanxiu guessed that he had not been to look at their child , and she said shyly ..

"Our child ..she had come to the world ….is a girl ….Minzhi told me …she had your eyes  ! "


"What are u thinking?? ". looking at the how Minzhe is grinning blankly into space

Minzhe immediately recovered and said happily : "Our daughter!! . I am a father ….WOW  … …I really feel like shouting..!!! ""

Seeing the look of joy on  Minzhe , Yanxiu also feel his happiness and smiled contently.

A new life had entered into Yanxiu and Minzhe life and both are enjoying this joy . Minzhe had recovered his health and at the same time , he still have his wife and child , no matter how long , or how tough , the road ahead of them will be , as long as they faced it with courage , happiness will come to them for a second chance and this time it will happiness that is ordinary but forever

Nalan was brimming with joy as she walk along the corridor of the hospital, carrying banquet of sunflower , and humming the tune to Shina and Junxi popular song First love .

She pushed open the door to Yanxiu room and shouted happily : Yanxiu !! I am here !!! .

Yanxiu, who is sitting on the bed reading a art book , raised her head upon hearing her good friend ,who is always as warm as the sun …"You are here !! . "'

she noticed that Shina was not behind Nalan : Where is Shina ?

Nalou walk towards the small table near the bedside ,and answered : "Today is off day and I let her sleep longer . I left a note for her , should be here later  !! Yanxiu …I cannot wait any longer and hence …I rush to get here first …!! ""

Nalan observed Yanxiu who had been listening intently to her and found that she look better . Perhaps during pregnancy , the baby does become a strain on the mother body . That why after her operation ..Yanxiu seem to regain her strength slowly ..but as Nalan remember the suffering Yanxiu went through ….her eyes redden from the painful memories


But as she thought of the fact that all the hardship is over now  Director Lee 's operation was successful, the baby though is in the insulator for observation due to premature birth, but according to Xuanzai, the baby condition is still all right . And after a few days , Yanxiu should be smiling more happily then now

Yanxiu laughed and closed the book in her hands . Nalan looked at the book and asked curiously : "What is that ?  such a big book !"

"It's an art book . Minzhi was afraid I will be bored and borrowed it from the school professor ". Yanxiu answered

"Wow..your little sister in law had indeed grown up !! Not bad ….Nalou comented happily ."

She looked around the room and asked : Where’s  Director ? Isn’t he always here beside you …, how come I don’t see him around ?"

Yanxiu face instantly have a sweet simle once she hears Nalan asked about her husband ..and was going to answer when Nalou raised her hands and eagerly make her guess :  
”I know !! Listen to me and see if I am right !! This Director lee …he is not in his room , neither is he in your room . Then he must be outside that window of the baby room …Am I rite ….Is It !! It must be !!

Yanxiu smiled and nodded ..Nalan imediately exclaimed : "I know it !! I am really smart aren’t I !! Yanxiu "

Actually, not only Minzhe is feeling joyous at the arrival of this new life . As long as they are friends of the couple , all are happy for Yanxiu and Minzhe , as this little life bring a new beginning, and is Heaven best gift to them , health and well being …the basic which one can never really control in his own hands  

Lee Minzhe stand alone at the corridor silently , looking intently through the window at his and Yanxiu's  child ,  .

After a few days of observation , Minzhe already can do some small activities in the hospital. His operation was successful but ….through observation..they discovered that in his memory….there are parts that is lost .

But to Minzhe …he is already very content ..though he might have lost some of the past memories …but he had gained more ..Yanxiu and his child is still beside him ….

From now on …..his memories will be make up from those of his family of three…Thnking of this ..Minzhe smile .

Laying inside the  box…the baby was fast asleep …Minzhe looked gently at the little fingers .little body…little legs ….the little baby chest was moving as she breathe..

This is his daughter!! …..

No matter what ..I will always be by you and your mother side …I will always be there to guard over you both .Minzhe make the solemn oath in his heart

Episode 27

Lee Xuanzai , wearing a white casual shirt was inside Muse Records recording room, in front of the control board . He is concentrating on refining the mixing of his new work . Yin Junxi was behind , watching Xanzai at work, he too was staring at the display device .

The room was immersed in the music and the new upbeat song was stopped at a certain section .

Yin Junxi just said lightly : This part is too high. Use low bass to bring the pitch up.

Xuanzia was surprised at his remarks as it was what he was thinking

He was soon adjusting the tune using the complicated equipment with familiar hands , and play the finished piece again .

The low bass complement that section beautifully. As he was humming to the tune of the bass rhythm, he nodded in satisfaction and turned down the volume. But he did not express his satisfaction openly to Yunxi.

This was one song that Xuanzai was working on even before he meet Junxi at the airport , and there had always been one part that he had not been able to overcome Now he found the reason and he feel relaxed.

He turned to look at Junxi : “You ..have you confirmed returning to USA ?”

Xuanzai was taken by surprise when Junxi had formally inform him of his decision But Junxi is no ordinary person , his
thoughts  is something that Xuanzai had not been able to comprehend or understand. But he fully recognized Junxi music talent. Junxi music had a certain magic , and has his own determination towards music, If not for their tempers, Xuanzi and Jjunxi might be good friends  
“You know that’s  not what I meant,  Junxi..can you tell me why ?”

When he heard Junxi’s  request to return to USA , Xuanzia had immediately informed Meimei in US. Her reaction was not what Xuanzai expected . she just gave the instructions :
“Of course ..when he first signed the contract , it was only a verbal one , since he want to come back , Muse records will also not make him stay against his will ”

Remembering what meimei had said , make Xuanzai more curious to know the reason

Listening to Xuanai question , Junxi pulled down his hat he is wearing : “if I want to leave , no one can stop me .. there is no why to what I am doing !!”

The word “Why ”seem so helpless . Xuanzai, cannot help thinking as he  listened to Junxi usual arrogant tone. But it is not in his nature to probe into others personal affairs and he only shrub his shoulders and continue his work.

Junxi was silent for a while and hearing the music again ..he took off his hat impatiently and was toying with it in his hands .. finally he asked causally : “I want to know what are your feelings towards Shina ..how do you feel about her ..Like ? Love ?

Xuanzai busy hands suddenly stopped . Shina ? Like ?  Love ?  

Xuanzai was not sure who to respond to Junxi question ..and he can only keep himself busy again  

Seeing Xuanzai non respond ..Junxi was immediately stood up in anger : “You want to escape from the question ? I really cannot stand your attitude  ..not daring to face up to your own feelings!!! ’

Xuanzai listened to Junxi accusation towards him and he don’t understand why he is so furious .

But when Xuanzai turned and saw the anger in Junxi eyes ..he immediately realized.

Junxi like Shina

As in that pair of eyes ..he can see the heat of Junxi feeling towards Shina ..that eyes are also filled with enmity towards him

“I don’t know why you are reacting so strongly .  BUT ..I can tell you one thing. My feelings towards Shina is not what you think ! ”


Xuanzai said lightly and returned his attention towards the equipment ..and he choose to ignore the moment of emotional turmoil within him

Junxi  slowly asked the question : “If ...I take Shina to US with me ..will you mind??? ” Junxi said it light heartedly ..

but he was also very observant ..watching for Xuanzai reaction

“Shina can continue her singing career in USA and also go for further studies ..this is  a good idea ! And I will also not be bored, with someone around arguing with me every day..I feel happy just thinking about it .. Shina contract is soon expiring ..what are your opinion ? Mr Lee ! ”


Knowing that he will not get Xuanzai respond ..Junxi put on his hat again and went out of the room with a winning grin on his face .

Xuanzai whose hands were still working , he stopped when he hear the sound of the door closing behind him .

He stared into the window infront of him and seem to see Shina image standing there practicing what Xuanzai had taught her
One hand on the earphones and the other flipping through the lyrics, concentrating on singing the song that Xuanzai had composed for her .

And every time she finished a song ..Shina will always stared into the window watching Xuanzai on the other side ..waiting anxiously  for his comments on her singing, with her bright eyes which is filled with passion and anticipation

Xuanzai smile lightly as he faced the darkness from the other side of the window. “ Are you also waiting for my answer .. ?”he placed his hands over his head in deep thoughts

“Shina .Come with me to USA ! ”

Junxi  arrived at Shina house and uttered that request the moment Shina opened the door .

Shina was dressed in casual clothes and yawning away . She was puzzled seeing Junxi standing in front of her door and was suddenly woke up from her sleepliness when she heard him  

“What !! What did you say !! am I still dreaming ? ”



Just a while back because of Yanxiu and also office matters ..Shina was very busily occupied .

Now with everything finally settled, she was using the free time to have a good holiday .

She intended to sleep for 20 hrs but was waken up by the noisy doorbell and knocking at the door .  She was very angry at this disturbance but seeing the serious look on Junxi .she cannot bring herself to shout those scolding words that she wanted to

“Yin Junxi is your own affairs  that you want to return to USA !! ..Don’t come and disturb me!!  ..I want to take a rest ..She said annoyingly .

She had nothing to say to Junxi or rather she doesn’t even want to spend her energy talking to him..she is really tired .

“Please go back !! GOODBYE ”She was about to close the door when Junxi hold the door with his hand to stop her .

Seeing the fury in Shina eyes ..Junxi said calmly : “He ..did not object”

This raised her curiosity ..as Shina looked at him ,Junxi continued : “He did not say anything  Lee Xuanzai ..when I told him I want to take you to USA .I asked him if he mind .he did not object !! ’

Seeing Shina hands falled helplessly from the door , Junxi grasped her arms  :

“The man you love ..do you still want to be beside him if this is the way he treat your feelings towards him!!! Why are you so stupid!! .Please come with me to USA  and forget about Xuanzai  OK!! ”

Shina mind was in a blur , Junxi words were like alien.. floating in her brain ..but in one flash , she regained her calm look and she pulled his hands off her arms and pushed him out of the door

She did not spoke and just shut the door  

“Did I hurt her ?? ”Junxi was wondering as he noticed the blankness in Shina face

Just as the door closed ..Junxi saw for the first time ..a drop of tear . The usual proud Kim Shina, so  like himself,  actually cried..

junxi ..was taken back by the reaction of shina ..she appeared so strong and detemined ..but now she is so vulnerable and shed tears ........because he told her that a man she has loved for the longest time ..has just treated her as if anyone dispensable ........not objecting to her leaving his side ..........

now he know ........she really loved Xuanzai ....it was not a obsession .that she has fantasy about ..but it was that type of love one hope to get in one life ...........a true love .........he felt helpless now ........in love with a woman who will never loved him back .....so that how it feel that hurt .........and he went back home defeated for the first time in his life ........

shina ..was crying .....uncontrollably .in her room .so that how he treat me .even after all these times ......there is no space left in his heart for me .........how cruel is he .....to completely just disregard my feelings or love ........is that how it should feel .this rejection ..that it is tearing your heart apart .maybe it has been there all along .it just that i refuse to admit it ..and accept the truth .that he will never let me in his heart ........with that thought ..she decided it is time not to wallow anymore in this grief........

she went off to muse records ........and entered his room ........and he was shocked to see her ..not because of her barging in .he is used to that but the traces of tears on her face ........she has been crying ..suddenly he felt an ache .........in his heart .


shina : .so it don’t matter to you ..that i leave for USA even ,. never to return ..is that the what is in your heart ......


xuanzai ......: .....listen to me shina ..calm down for a minute ..it a good opportunity for you ..as a boss and a friend i will be glad to see you expand your future career ..........you have the talent ..why waste it and .

shina : just shut up ..and don’t speak as a boss or a friend ..i want to hear from your as a man i loved .............do you really find it so hard to accept me into your heart ........WHY !

xuanzai ....: .......i ......i.....[he cannot speak .....to her eyes ..as he suddenly felt guilty ......] ..it not that ....i just ...cannot .........you will find someone who will really give you happiness .


shina : i dont want or need someone else ..i only want you ....don t you realise that

xuanzai : ....he was trying to control his rationality and firmly stand by his decision ] .but suddenly something triggered in his heart .when he turned and see her tears in her eyes ..........it was with such sorrow and hurt .......he has hurt her ........despite what his rationality is telling him ..his heart know that ........shina has a place in there .......he did not know when it begin ....how it started ..but ....she is there .......and when junxi told him of the proposal of sending her to USA .he did felt jealous and ..........furious ....and lost .........why is another man doing things for her .that he can do ....but he surpress and dismiss that emotions as quickly as it appear .........but now .......he looked at her ......

xuanzai : shina ........i ..........if you dont want to go .no one is forcing you too .

shina : i just want to know if you want me to .......

xuanzai {looked into her eyes ..there was a plea of love in those eyes ....} .........i ........[tried to aviod it like the past }

shina : dont turn away ..looked at me ..[she pulled him to face her ]

xuanzai shouted : ALL right !! Fine ... if you want the truth ..you will get the truth ............i dont like you being too close to that guy .......nor want you to be with you in USA .........i dont know why ..but i just dont feel GOOd with that ......aLL Right ..........that is what i can say at the moment ......dont force me any further .....i need more time .......i dont even know why i am saying this anymore ............[after that outburst .......he suddenly felt so relieved ]


shina was shocked beyond speech ........and her heart was filled with a happiness that was not there for the longest time .since she has fallen for him ........

"lee xuanzai .......so you do love me .....even a liitle .....right ~ ......".she simled ...brightly now .....wiping her tears away ...........


wait a minute .....i am not saying that is love ..or anything ...........but .....yes .....i do care about you ..in a special way .so are you satisfact now ...!!!

[he was still trying to deny .but .it was not an easy case to fight ........and he was suddenly tired ..of running away ........]

she run into his arms and hug him tightly .he was surprised at her action.but did not push her away .anymore ..........

sunday ..evening .........at the sea ......gentle breeze

a family of three were there enjoying a peaceful time together ...........

minzhe was gazing at his daughter ....five month old baby ......laying in her mother arms ...she is the most beautiful gift a man can get in this world ..he thought to himself ..a proud father .......he is .......she will be getting alot of attention when she is grown ...and i will be fighting away all those young man ..........he simled at this fatherly thoughts ......


yanxiu .looked at her husband who is staring at their daughter so deep in thoughts and simling to himself ...she cannot help but asked curiously .:

what are you thinking about ..simling like that ?

minchul : nothing you willl understand [mischevous grin]
only a father will know and share these thoughts ...^^ it our father rights to .think such thoughts about their daughters ..^^ ..look at her ..isnt she the most perfect creature .created .......it must be in the genes ....haha ...

yanxiu : ....hm....so you are claiming credits for our daughter ...[appear a bit jealous ] ..and as if i the mother did not contribute anything .....it just so lee mini chul to calim all credits for himself .........

minchul : [immediaely come close to her and placed a light kiss on her lips ] now ..honey ......you know that you are the most important contribution to my life ..the only thing that make me worthwhile to live for .........and for creating our beautiful child for me ......dont be jealous .......come .give me a simle ....

yanxiu .there is no way to resist this man .when he all out of his way to charm ...she simled lovingly as he teases ......

...and she was glad that he was back to his old self so soon after the operation .......it was a near experince of losing him that she will never want to go through again ..

minchul saw her ....slight show of sadness ..and he know .that she must have recall what the few months ago ...how they might be forever separated ,, and how he might have never live to see the child ..or recall anything of them ........he pulled her close to his arms .together with the baby ...........now in his arms are the two most precious .gifts in this world for him and he will never let them go or let himself be taken from them so easily .........

yanxiu (as she laid against his shoulders .looking at the sea .where the sunset is near ...asting rays over the sea .....) : minchul ...do you remember what you said to me ....here on the beach when you drove me here before ............

minchul :..........[silent] ....it pains him as it pains her that some part of their memory together was lost ...

yanxiu .turned and looked at him straight ...in the eyes : never mind .it okay ........as long as i remember .......i will remember it for both of us ..you said that love is like seawater when you drink it .....you will just want more .........now i just have that feeling about our happiness .........i just want so much more .of what you are giving me .....and i also want to give as much as you have given me ..thank you .. for our child .......and a future with you ..that i never did hope for ..till you give me strenght before .......

she said this with tears in her voice ..and minchul too ..hold her close against his chest ......

yanxiu ..........i also want to thank you ....it was you who release me out of my shell ..without you . i might still be the cold and heartless ......lee minchul .one who never learnt how to love .......and who to love .but now ..this lee minchul ...has too much love in this world that i am never lonely anymore ...............


the sunset .......on the three of them .........a picture of the happy family .........as perfect as the portrait yanxiu so love .but this is real .with life .and a treasure .that they will forever cherish ........
