1. | Why is Astro replacing the current smart cards?
- We are doing this to improve card security and prepare for future expansion to our services. We ask that all customers replace their existing smart card with the new smart card as soon as they receive it to avoid service disruptions.
| 2. | Do I have to pay for the new smart card?
- No. The new smart card is free.
| 3. | Will I be able to tell which smart card is the new smart card? Does it look different?
- Yes, the new smart card is gold in colour. The old smart card is red and blue in colour.
| 4. | How do I get the new smart card? Must I collect the card from somewhere?
- All you need to do is to wait for your smart card package to arrive in the mail. We will courier your smart card to you sometime between 31 Mar and 20 May 2008. Your smart card package will contain your new smart card and step-by-step instructions on how to activate it.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to keep your old smart card in a safe place. DO NOT destroy or throw it away.
| 5. | Do I have to return the old smart card to Astro after replacing it with the new one?
- No, you do not have to return your old smart card but you need to keep it in a safe place. All smart cards are property of Astro and must be returned upon request.
| 6. | If I have not received my smart card package, can I collect my new smart card from an Astro Service Centre?
- If your package did not arrive by 20 May 2008, please call 1300 82 3838. Each smart card contains a serial number and your account information. To better control the security of your data, the card is couriered directly from a central location; please wait for the pack to arrive unless you have been advised to visit an Astro Service Centre.
| 7. | What happens if I do not replace my existing smart card with the new smart card?
If you do not replace your old smart card and activate the new smart card within 7 days of receiving your package, you may lose your Astro service. Therefore, please replace the card and activate it once it arrives in the mail.

mau berbakul2 aku smash hits itu customer service
dari aku nak call abis kedit sampai RM30 baik aku gi astro x sampai 10 hengget... gegar kan semua sekali
padan muka muahahahha
so astro kalu nak antar kad emas aku better antar yg elok2... jgn bagi aku pi jadi gila kat astro tu nanti

bills yg kite bayar entitled for each hour yang patut kite enjoy..aku rase its time to ask astro for rebates mase2 yang tergendala tu...rugi wo...mcm aku amek pakej rm100++.....kaloa ku taleh enjoy siaran..ape gune kan?tak masuk yg tergendala sebab hujan...luckily malaysians are generous enough... |
