Shin Ha Kyun & Lee Min Ho cast for upcoming movie, ‘Running Man’

It has been reported that actors Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Min Ho have been cast in an upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Running Man‘.

The new film (not to be confused with the variety program of the same name) will be directed by Jo Dong Oh of 2006′s ‘The Restless‘, and is the first domestic venture to be mainly funded by international producing company Fox International Productions.

Shin Ha Kyun will play the role of a car mechanic who accidentally comes to find out about the nation’s top secret, with Lee Min Ho, who is currently featured on the drama ‘Rooftop Prince’, casted to play his son.

Shin Ha Kyun’s agency, Walnut Entertainment, has stated that the movie will start filming in July.

Along with Lee Min Ho, Shin Ha Gyun is also cast. The “Brain” star plays father to Lee Min Ho’s character. “Running Man” is the senior actor’s first film since “The Front Line.”

Lee Min Ho earned a reputation for being one of Korea’s next-generation actors for his role in TV dramas. He is currently seen on SBS’ “Rooftop Prince,” co-starring with Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min.

“Running Man” tells the story of a car engineer, played by Shin Ha Gyun, who is chased by unidentified men after he learns of the nation’s top secret information.
