Amalan memandikan kereta telah lama diamalkan oleh tuan-tuan guru kita di nusantara,termasuklah al-Marhum Tuan Guru Abdullah Lubuk Tapah Hafizahullah. Ini bukannya perkara yang bid’ah.
Ada orang yang kata ini perbuatan bid’ah sebab Nabi SAW dan para salaf al-soleh tak pernah buat.
Nak tanya sikitlah, Nabi SAW ada ajar ker cara mandi harian sunnah yang benar-benar ikut cara Nabi SAW ?
Yang ada pun,Nabi SAW menggalakkan mandi dengan mendahulukan anggota sebelah kanan. Itupun hanya untuk mandi sunat dan madi wajib. Mandi hari-hari itu ada ker dalil hadis sahih ataupun hasan ?.
Dalam Islam ini,janganlah terlampau bersifat jumud dan keras dalam menghukum. Tak jumpa dalil sedikit, bid’ah. Itu bid’ah, ini bid’ah. Tak habis-habis bid’ah. Padahal diri sendiri yang tak jumpa dalil. Tuan-tuan guru kita lebih alim dan lumat mendalami ilmu berbanding kita yang baru setahun jagung mengenal secebis ilmu Hadis. Itu pun hanya tahap memahami ilmu Mustalah Hadis sahaja. Bukan mendalam sangat pun..Allahu..tapi rasa alim lebih dari ulama’ yang lebih tinggi darjat keilmuannya dari kita ini.
Ilmu Allah Taala ini terlampau luas,malah tiada hujung pangkalnya. Semakin mengaji,semakin dalam tahap ilmu tersebut, hingga jikalau dimanfaatkan keseluruhan umur kita untuk menuntut ilmu Allah Taala,sudah tentu tanah masuk ke dalam mulut pun belum sempat belajar dan memahami semua ilmu Allah itu..Allahu Rabbi.
Berbalik kepada urusan bid’ah semula. Adakah apa yang Nabi SAW tidak buat,maka itu bid’ah belaka ?.
Adakah dalam Islam ini hanya bid’ah dan sunnah ?. Kalau bukan bid’ah,ia pasti sunnah. Sebaliknya kalau ia bukan sunnah,sudah tentu bid’ah. Jumudnya Islam jika begitu bukan ?.
Sebaiknya,sesuatu hukum itu dinilai sama ada boleh diamalkan atau ditolak adalah dilihat dari sudut neraca Fiqh iaitu Wajib,Sunat,Harus,Makruh dan Haram.
Jika tiada nas dari al-Quran dan dalil hadis sahih dan hasan, sama ada yang menyuruh ataupun melarang, maka sudah tentu hukumnya ialah Harus, seperti amalan memandikan kereta itulah. Ini lebih kepada Tajribah Fardiyyah yang diwarisi secara turun-temurun dan terbukti kemujarabannya.
Ini termasuklah dalam amalan Mujarrabat yang sah di sisi syarak. Nak buat pun boleh,tak nak buat pun tak apa. Tiada sesiapa yang kata ianya wajib,apatah lagi sunnah Nabi. Mana ada tuan-tuan guru kita ajar sebegitu rupa. Jika niat yang baik-baik dan kerana Allah Taala semata-mata kerja buat itu,in sya Allah akan dapat pahala. Inilah amalan Harus. Dalam bahasa Arab ia disebut sebagai Mubah.
Mubah ini ialah membenarkan sesuatu amalan itu dilakukan disebabkan tiada dalil yang melarang dan tiada pula dalil yang menyuruh untuk melakukan sesuatu amalan tertentu itu. Maka, cara menghukum begini lebih selamat dan matang.
Ini memperlihatkan Islam itu lebih praktikal dan terbuka,bukannya jumud.
