Now that the hadiths have proven that p.Muhammad was a pedophilie, I want to answer the question "Why did p.Muhammad waited 3 long years to consumating the marriage with Aisha?
Here is the answer..
Aisha fall sick soon after her "marriage' with p.Muhammad and took time to recover.. p.Muhammad waited for the young girl recover from her sickness and then order for her to be prepare for her defloweration.
read this hadith..
Bukhari:V5B58N234:
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.
So now we know why p.Muhammad had to wait 3long years.
We also should realise that p.Muhammad did not go "dry" during the 3 long years. He had another wife named Saudah, to satisfy his needs. P.Muhammad married Sauda, at about the same time as he signed his marriage contract with Aisha. Aisha was 6year old at the time.
About the Ansari(Helpers) women. These Ansari women prepared the little girl to be deflowered by an old man.. wishing her good luck. Unfortunately, luck and Allah's blessing was not with Aisha, as she was unable to bore any child.
If today, in a civilised country, any women who do like the Ansari women did, would be spending time in jail, for being part of "statutory" rape.

The Hadiths meant something else while you try to make it sound offensive. If you're so smart, then show us the link that shows the recovery period her sickness took to heal Aisyah before her marriage to the Prophet? Was it 3 years to the day? The hadith(Bukhari:V5B58N234) was clear.. why can't you understand? Aren't you the one who claim that you know the hadiths like the back of your hand(in your reply to Debmey).
Aisha fall sick after her engagement/marriage to p.Muhammad, her sickness was so bad that her hair fell. Only after she recovered did p.Muhammad consumated their marriage. easy.

Show me any hadith sahih that indicates that Aisha had reached "baligh" at the age of 9, which would at least signify that she can conceive.

Bukhari:V7B62N18:Narrated 'Ursa: The Prophet asked Abu Bakr for 'Aisha's hand in marriage. Abu Bakr said "But I am your brother." The Prophet said, "You are my brother in Allah's religion and His Book, but she (Aisha) is lawful for me to marry."
Looks like Abu Bakar had no choice..

Are you only good at picking something that you only favour? For your kind info, it was Abu Bakar who arranged his daughter's marriage to the Prophet. I don't see anything wrong with the hadith. Afterall Abu Bakar is his brother in Islam & not by the same parents & of course, it's lawful for him to marry Aisya.
Anyway, I'll leave it to Fuzzman since he has broad knowledge on Islam.

Torah/Bible came before p.Muhammad.
Quran was the work of p.Muhammad himself. He would rather praise himself than to condemn himself in his own poems.
