Earlier today, SHINee held their 2nd ever fan meeting in Japan at theOsaka Kousei Nenkin Kaikan Hall in Osaka. More than 2,000 fans packedthe facility to get a glimpse of SHINee. No videos or photos of theevent have been released as of yet but some audio is being shared byone of the fans.
It seems one particular audio stood out amongstthe others and it was Onew singing a beautiful rendition of "ForeverMore" by Ingram James. I used to think Jonghyun had the best voice outof the group but Onew is quickly coming up and challenging him for thetop spot.
So Chan Whee "The most wanted to meet celebrity? SHINee"s Minho"
SingerSo Chan Whee who has made a comeback in the music industry after 2years 8 months has said that the celebrity she most wanted to meet isidol group SHINee.
So Chan Whee made an appearance onKBS Happy FM (106.1Mhz) in the '이윤석 윤정수의 오징어' corner on September 14thand it has been heard that the celebrity she wanted to meet the most isSHINee.
When asked which member it was, Chan Whee"sstatement, "I'm not really sure of the names (all 5 members) but he'sthe tall; the rapper friend/kid," seems to suggest that it's Minho. "When I watch him on TV, he comes out so well," she further added about Minho's extraordinary affection.

Theonly confusing thing is the photo is of a guy, but after looking it up,So Chan Whee is actually a female singer.. O.o Maybe she only has aminor role in the drama..

In the morning, I arrived around 9AM since I read that there were some fans who planned to be at the venue at 6am. When I got there, the area had probably 200-300 people already, and I was at the end of the line. Those who were early got to sit near the stage, while we were going to be seated somewhere at the back.
At around 1130AM, the CD booths were set-up, where they sold the Romeo CD, and the Photobook. I fell in line, and got my CD with a free poster. I wanted to get the version with Minho, but it was already SOLD OUT! Minho sells in Taiwan. biggrin.gif
We were all sitting on the ground right in front of the stage, which only happens in Taiwan. LOL. I can’t believe that the fans here are so well behaved. Anyway, We were asked to show the CDs that we bought so that we would be given the Raffle Ticket with the number.
Around 3PM, the host was briefing us on how the show would go. First she told us about the birthday surprise we would have for Key. So, we practiced saying ‘Happy Birthday’ in Korean and in English, because we would have to say it and also sing it at the end of the show. After that, she told us about the raffle for the Shinee-Fan interactions and how the game would go. I didn’t really get the mechanics because I don’t understand Mandarin. biggrin.gif So, she picked and announced 10 different numbers from the ballot box- and these are the fans who would be on stage, playing the games against Shinee. Around this time, fans were becoming excited and restless. They wanted the boys to arrive and get ON the stage already… and they got their wish a few minutes later.
I couldn’t keep track of time already but it must have been around 345PM that the boys arrived. They got off their van (Yes, I got a close look at the van and it wasn’t tinted, but had some kind of poster taped from the inside of the van so you couldn’t see who were inside- it was crappy.). The boys got off the van, but didn’t go straight to the stage. They went inside this little red tent to probably prep themselves for 5 minutes. The host asked us to scream Shinee, or whatever it was, I forgot… because the fans were becoming too excited and were screaming all over the place! Of course, since we have waited 5 hours/more to see them!
Once the boys got up the stage, the crowd was overjoyed! They then introduced themselves with “Ni Hao, wo men shi SHINEE!” (Hello, we’re Shinee), then introduced themselves one-by-one, using their Chinese names. At some point, the host asked us to shout: “Shinee, you are my ROMEO!” which I thought was pretty corny (sorry, sorry), but everyone did that, too. First part of the program was the Press Conference. The media was up on stage, and so was the press. They were interviewing Shinee and taking videos and pictures of them, so they had to turn their backs to us. It probably took around 15 minutes or so before they could resume with JULIETTE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6coPJLkLjg). It was great that the fans were just singing with the boys during the song, and not screaming loudly. biggrin.gif
The fans were really very well behaved. They didn’t stand up when the show started, and limited their screaming. At first, the host wanted us all to stand up when Shinee would go on stage, but a lot of people opposed this idea since everyone would probably just go crazy and forget about sitting down. Thus, we were all sitting down.
After this, was a little talk with the host regarding the contest (I just don’t know what they were talking about). Though, Shinee probably already knew how it would go because it wasn’t explained to them anymore (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Z7Cat_YUtM). They called five of the contestants on stage to do the “Juliette, Amigo, Jie Jie (Noona)” contest against the five Shinee boys). The two winners who won against the 2 Shinee boys were able to take pictures with the boys. biggrin.gif And the boys were just too adorable doing their poses in the pictures. They’re like little kids in a photobooth! All of the contestants were lucky enough to be on stage with the boys, and sort of “talk” with them, though indirectly. And since the boys were too cute, the host asked them to do the “Juliette, Amigo, Jie Jie (Noona)” dance again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEXh0wB5k9o).
After this was the 2nd game. The other five remaining contestants were called up the stage again. One by one, Shinee boys would sing a line from one of their songs, and the girls would guess the title of the song that the line was from. This time, there was only one winner, and she was fed by ONEW a small piece of mooncake. This took quite a long time because the photographer asked Onew to do it over and over again so they could have decent pictures of that scene. At one point, Jonghyun fed Minho one of the mooncakes. Onew is really just too adorable. He was always smiling and kidding around while trying to do a nice pose of “feeding” the girl. biggrin.gif
After the game was over, there was a short talk betweent the boys and the host again, and the host gave her cue for us to sing Happy Birthday to Key, so we sang it in Korean, and the host presented Key with his birthday cake, we sang again, this time in English, and blew out the candles afterwards (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvPhZ0V__BM). He said Thank you, and some words in Korean. Aside from that, fans screamed “Sowoneul Malhebwa”, (tell me your wish- this phrase is so damn useful!), so he added some words regarding his birthday wishes (which I didn’t get either). They posed for pictures and then sang SCAR afterwards (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaroTwC_6Do), then their last song, REPLAY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6tf6c94tjw). After this, they chatted with the host for a bit again, then said their thank yous and goodbyes. ☺
They left right after the show riding the white van. I don’t know where they went afterwards, maybe to their hotel, which was the Grand Formosa Regent, as I have heard. But I didn’t stalk them anymore. Lol.
They looked exactly like how you see them in Music Bank, Inkigayo or any of those shows you see on TV. They have the exact same clothing they use for Juliette MV (the dance parts), they all had the same hair as in that MV, and it seems like they just jumped out the TV screen and you’re seeing them live.
Apart from that, they sound really GREAT too! Jonghyun has these amazing vocals and he does adlibs for the songs, Onew’s voice is just so solid, and Key’s very cute, even though he is a bit subdued (just maybe a bit quiet, but he DID interact with the fans a lot while he was on stage), Minho as always is so hot-cute at the same time, and Taemin is a bouncing ball of energy- as you can see in the fancams!
The boys sang very, very well, I should say- and they were all dancing in sync! Amazingly, they all moved together and the flow of the dance was really just natural. It wasn’t as if they were having a hard time doing it, or were looking at each other to see if they were still doing the same thing--- they all danced effortlessly, while looking straight at the audience. And THIS THING, not all boybands can do. I swear, I have seen other groups’ performances, and Shinee is one of those that delivers a really good performance on stage!!! I commend them on that! (Although I expected them to be gooood…. They were more than that, they were absolutely GREAT!)
Onew
Omo. This sweet tofu guy really melts my heart. He is just too adorable for words. Always smiling, always joking around saying “Dui, dui” (Right) every time he’s answering the host, dancing randomly, although most of them do that on stage except for Minho. Lol. He is a sweet and cute and adorable, smiling, innocent, really charming guy. I’d love to have him as a little brother. He’d be so much fun having around.
Key
Key with his bright blonde hair- lol. This guy didn’t talk much during the fanmeeting, but he was talking- or let’s just say mouthing words maybe to the audience, trying to communicate or something, even though he was facing sideways with his back to the audience. He always turned his head to smile and wave at those fans in front who were probably shouting his name. biggrin.gif He is WELL LOVED in Taiwan!
Minho
Oh Minho. I have to be more biased here because he is my favorite! Haha. This guy is so damn CUTE. He has this baby face that makes him look 11 or 12 or even younger, idk. But, when he talks, he has this really deep manly voice. He’s really tall, but too skinny for his own good. biggrin.gif (But it’s ok, we all know what he has under his shirt…) Goodness. He’s very quiet, and he didn’t really talk a lot during the fanmeeting. He just stood there with the boys, being the charismatic thing that he is.
Jonghyun
Jonghyun is the MANLIEST guy of all. He acts so manly, but with a hint of arrogance. It must be true what Donghae said about him not doing the 45-degree bow anymore. biggrin.gif LOL. But anyway- his voice is amazing! Sometimes you even wonder If they’re all doing it live or if you’re listening to the song on your headphone because how they sound live is exactly the same as how they sound in the CD. Jonghyun has amazing vocal powers and its adds up to the value of the group’s performance.
Taemin
Awww the baby of the group. This kid is so full of energy. You might think that he’s the youngest, so thin and so small, so quiet—underestimating him because he looks like a 12 year old innocent, smiling kid. But when he dances- he is like a bouncing ball of energy!!! It’s like he has springs on his shoes because he seems to be bouncing about! Taemin totally blew me away. I thought that he was a good dancer, but the way he was dancing on stage, he was giving everything for the performance, full of passion and just ---perfection. He’s really talented, yet humble and down to earth too. biggrin.gif
