Kebenaran yang teramat pahit untuk diterima ( Harsh truth, not lies )

Dah lama aku fikirkan pasal benda ni ( start dari kekecewaan pertama aku dalam bola sepak semasa berumur 15 tahun, btw aku masa kecik2 dulu tiap2 petang turun padang main bola boleh kata 3, 4 jam sehari ), kita orang Melayu Malaysia ni mungkin dah ditakdirkan tak akan dapat menakhluki Dunia melalui bola sepak. Aku duk congak2 melalui sejarah, hanya ada dua orang player Melayu yang pernah melalui tahap excellent ( kejayaan melampaui batas ) dalam bola sepak bertahap antarabangsa, iaitu Fandi Ahmad ( Melayu Singapura ) dan Mokhtar Dahari. Jadi masa tu ( masa aku berumur 15 tahun ), aku terfikir, kalau hanya dua orang ni sahaja dari berjuta2 orang Melayu yang dapat jadi international star, mungkin percentage aku nak berjaya dalam sukan ni hanyalah 0.000000000000000000000000001 percent, jadi aku pun terus ambik keputusan nak masuk bidang lain ( yg ada kaitan dengan akademik & profesional ).
Yang akhbar duk kata kita hebat zaman 50an - 70an dulu, pencapaian terbaik kita hanyalah tempat ketiga sukan Asia dan layak ke Olimpik, ataupun mampu menewaskan juara Asia zaman tu ( macam Korea dan Jepun ). Kita tak pernah jadi juara Asia, dan tak pernah layak ke World Cup zaman tu, waima masa zaman Mokhtar Dahari pun.
Lainlah macam badminton dan squash, memang ada player kita yg pernah jadi juara dunia.
Adakah suratkhabar kat Malaysia tidak dapat menerima kenyataan? Kebenaran itu terlalu pahit untuk ditelan dan diakui? Apa guna berusaha keras dalam sesuatu bidang sukan kalau jelas di depan mata kita yg kita tak mungkin dapat menjadi juara dunia? ( dengan aggapan kita buat expectation ini berdasarkan track record kita pada masa lalu ).
