Kim JunSu {Xiah}, Park YooChun {Micky}, Kim JaeJoong {Hero}, Shim ChangMin {Max}, Jung YunHo {U-Know}.
The meaning of "Tong Vfang Xien Qi" is "Gods Rising from the East". This five-member dance team is made up of high school students who auditioned for stardom. Each member has proved his talent in singing as well as dancing. Thus, the boy band was formed.
The boys were put in different groups among peers during their training to be selected for the band, which was already named Tong Vfang Xien Qi.
The first to join was Kim JunSu牋who was 12 at that time; he was brought into the program through a TV show looking for a new talent. He continued to train for six more years and debuted under the name of Xiah Junsu ; Xiah is pronounced SHe-AH in Korean).
The next member to join, Jung YunHo , won his audition through a dance competition. However, he was no amateur--he had been a backup dancer and rapper for K-pop singer Dana. His chosen stage name is U-know YunHo ; because when you say YunHo real fast, it sounds like U-know in English).
Kim JaeJoong , like Tamaki Nami (a Japanese pop singer), left his hometown to audition for SM Entertainment and debut under the name a fortune teller foretold years before: YoungWoong JaeJoong . He is also known as Hero, the meaning YoungWoong.
Shim ChangMin, was one of the youngest to audition; nevertheless, he passed the try-outs. He joined the band on the name of ChoiKang ChangMin ; the English counterpart to his stage name is Max).
Six months prior to the group's debut, a new member was added. American Park YooChun changed his name to Micky YooChun. Originally, YooChun's English name was Micky, so he chose his English name to be part of his stage name.
For prep work, they recorded a single with The TRAX and BoA. BoA, already popular in Japan, and The Trax, which had released new music in Japan, made an awareness overseas about the new boy group.
Tong Vfang Xien Qi has also released albums and singles in China. SM Entertainment has thought of adding a Chinese member to their group to help their popularity within the country. The management company had additionally thought of splitting Tong Vfang Xien Qi into two groups: one three-member group (U-Know, Micky, Xiah) to perform in South Korea and the other two (Hero, Max) with the new Chinese member to perform in China. The news of the addition of a new Chinese member/splitting the group is upsetting to the fans of Tong Vfang Xien Qi, Cassiopeia. The fans claim the musical group would only be itself with the five original members. Although this rotation was a problem in their first album, SM Entertainment did not rotate then; however, the problem had rosen again. However, now, SM Entertainment has abandoned the idea of rotating a Chinese member in Tong Vfang Xien Qi because of the overflowing amount of complaints from Cassiopeia and other fans.
On the other hand, since Tong Vfang Xien Qi is very successful Korea, this boy-band's music has been shipped out to several countries in Asia.

{Super Junior made their first television appearance as a group on SBS Inki Gayo on November 6, 2005 as a 12 member group. The group performed its first single, "TWINS (Knock Out)." "TWINS (Knock Out)" and You are the One were released online on November 11, 2005. A single was scheduled to be released in November but a more complete album was released on December 7, 2005 instead. In December 2005, Super Junior collaborated with labelmate and popular boy band TVXQ. Together they released a single titled Show Me Your Love. During this time, the two groups could be seen on the same shows together to promote their album.
On May 23, 2006 SM Entertainment announced the addition of a new member, Cho KyuHyun. KyuHyun became the youngest member, as well as the 12th Korean in the group. The new 13 membered group released its new look and its newest single U online on May 25, 2006. "U" became a success and enjoyed the #1 spot on music programs for the very first time in the group's career. Followed, soon thereafter, by the release of "Endless Moment" on May 29, 2006 and "Lovely Day" on June 6, 2006. On July 23rd, 2006, Super Junior started promoting their new song, "Dancing Out" from the 2006 SMTOWN summer album.
Aside from music programs, they could be also seen in dramas. In 대결! 슈퍼주니어의 자작극, Super Junior wrote, produced, and acted the drama. The subject matters of the drama were the top three choices of the viewers. The mini-series soon became popular among fans. Their busy schedule was briefly interrupted when Hee Chul fractured his femur in a car accident, but the group managed to restart fairly quickly. However, because their single "Dancing Out" was a summer single, they had their "Goodbye Special" (performing their last singles "U" and "Dancing Out" for the last time) on SBS's "Inki Gayo" on September 3, 2006.[}

**Kyu Hyun** -- Cho Kyu Hyun (조규현 Hanja:???) (born February 03, 1988) is the youngest member of the group. He is the 13th member of Super Junior. He made his first appearance as Super Junior in the news on May 23, 2006. He was discovered at a Chin Chin Singing Competition and featured in the video of a remake of TVXQ's song "Hi Ya Ya" with other Chin Chin idols. He is currently a Modern Music major at Kyunghee University. He is one of the members of trio Super Junior - K.R.Y..
Post-debut
Kyu Hyun, Ryeo Wook, and Ye Sung have formed a separate trio under the name Super Junior - K.R.Y. and participated in the Original Soundtrack of tvN Drama Hyena with a total of three tracks, including the main theme. The trio is part of SM Entertainment's strategy to not limit the Super Junior抯 activities to always performing altogether. Super Junior - K.R.Y.'s first official performance was on November 4th on KBS's "Music Bank"[4]. In addition, many of the members have appeared on variety shows individually, DJ-ing and some of the members continue to host M-Net's M!Countdown.
