The Dirty Bass SpecialEdition CD features two new tracks and seven previously released songs,including Like A G6, the group’s first number one hit single in theUnited States. The song was the first to hit the top spot on the singles chartin the U.S. by an Asian-American artist since Kyu Sakamoto scored the numberone spot with Sukiyaki in 1963. “With more Asian Americanstars on the rise, it’s no surprise that Far East Movement continues to makegreat strides in extending their success globally,” says Loan Cheong, ManagingDirector of Universal Music Malaysia. According to Cheong, DirtyBass has been certified GOLD with a combination of CD, digital downloads,and streaming sales.
