The unit is formed due to police need to obtain concrete evidence of violent crimes to arrest the criminal. The core member of the unit are Ichinose Satoshi, a former scientist who solves difficult cases with unique investigation methods; Honda Masayuki who nicknamed “human lie detector”; and Okunuki Toru, former crime lab ace. Together, they solve cases with their own speciality and personality using scientific investigation methods involving physics, chemistry, biology and medical science.
