Orang bukan kisah Xavier Justo ditangkap sebab kununnya
cuba blackmail PS. Atau kisah pendedahan  ...

kena asingkan isu satu persatu

isu jenayah justo, satu bab

isu bidang perniagaan 1MDB
satu bab lain

jangan campur adukkan
nanti ko jadi merapu sampai
jadi macam rupa

Isunya ialah, 1MDB is a big mistake.
Sekarang terperangkap dengan utang dan bergelut nak
membersihkan nam Najib dengan mengaitkan issue-issue
macam Sarawak Report & Xavier Justo yang mendedahkan
kepincanganya.
Kalau engku nak terus on the defensive, suka hati kolah.
PERIOD.

Emel antara PetroSaudi, 1MDB 'mencurigakan' - Tun Mahathir
Hafiz Marzukhi, Astro Awani | Kemas kini: Jun 26, 2015

“Saya perlu melihat kesemuanya dahulu,” tegasnya.

– 25 Jun, 2015.

Hamzah Hamid, Astro Awani | Kemas kini: Jun 25, 2015

Thai police to work with foreign counterparts in probing Justo

BY KHAIRAH N. KARIM - 30 JUNE 2015 @ 4:34 PM KUALA LUMPUR: Thai police are willing to cooperate with their foreign counterparts to question blackmail suspect, Xavier Andre Justo, a Bangkok-based newspaper reported today.

According to The Nation’s report, the acting commander of Thailand's Crime Suppression Division Police, Pol Colonel Akaradej Pimonsri said British police had dispatched its officers to Bangkok to interview Justo who was being held at the Bangkok Remand Prison. "We welcome requests from other countries if they want to talk to the suspect,” Akaradej was quoted in the report.

Yesterday, Inspector General-Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said Malaysian police have requested for a chance to question the former PetroSaudi International official who was believed to have tampered with certain e-mails to paint the company's business relationship with 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) in a bad light. Khalid also said that a Thai deputy police chief will be visiting Malaysia on Thursday for a discussion on the next course of action against the Swiss citizen.

Justo, 49, was arrested at his house in Koh Samui last week for allegedly blackmailing and extorting his former employers. He was alleged to have attempted to blackmail and extort PetroSaudi for 2.5 million Swiss Francs (RM10 million) two years after he was dismissed from the company in exchange for not disclosing confidential information.

2 JULY 2015 @ 12:00 AM KUALA LUMPUR: The Edge has confirmed that it has received a show cause letter from the Home Ministry. Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of The Edge Media Group, Ho Kay Tat said the ministry has given them seven days s to provide a written explanation on why actions should not be taken against The Edge Malaysia and The Edge Financial Daily under the Printing Presses and Publication Act 1984.

“We are accused of publishing articles on 1 Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) that have created confusion and doubts about the Government and our financial institutions. We are also accused of relying on an Internet portal for our articles.

“The letter did not specify the articles,” he said in a statement tonight. Ho said the media group had been reporting on 1MDB since it was known as Terengganu Investment Authority (TIA) and in the last six months, and had published more than 300 articles on 1MDB from various sources - Bernama, Bloomberg, Reuters, Singapore Business Times, Euromoney as well as through their own reporting in their from the media channels in The Edge Media Group.

“We will be compiling them to help any investigation into our alleged offences. We base our articles on carefully evaluated evidence. “We have asked the Ministry for an extension of the 7 days for us to reply in detail, he said. Ho adds that the Home Ministry must clarify which of their articles were articles are wrong and create confusion and doubts about the Government.

“The Edge believes our articles to be truthful. To date, not a single party that we mentioned in the articles has taken legal action against us. “As we have stated previously, we stand by the articles we have published and we intend to show it,” he said.

1MDB: Claims of funds linked to Najib “highly irresponsible”

3 JULY 2015 @ 11:46 AM KUALA LUMPUR: 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) has labeled reports which claimed it had provided funds to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak as “highly irresponsible” and a deliberate attempt to undermine the company.

In a statement released this morning, the government investment company said the claims made by some media outlets and blogs today, which supposedly stemmed from “leaked” documents, were being used to mislead the public. “In reference to media reports published earlier today, 1MDB wishes to make clear that the company has never provided any funds to the Prime Minister.

To suggest otherwise, as some media outlets have done, is highly irresponsible and a deliberate attempt to undermine the company,” said the statement. 1MDB said recent developments have raised concern over the accuracy of these documents, which are being used as the basis for reports by certain media outlets. “Recent revelations have raised concerns about the veracity of a number of 'leaked' documents which certain media outlets, and online blogs such as Sarawak Report, have used to mislead the public and justify spurious allegations against the company and the government.

“According to press reports, these documents were found to have been tampered with, and were being used by an individual - who is currently under arrest in a foreign country - to extort and blackmail his former employer. “We are therefore surprised that documents such as these, whose existence and authenticity have not been publicly verified, continue to be used as a basis to create new unsubstantiated allegations against 1MDB,” said the statement. 1MDB said it is currently cooperating with a number of enquiries being conducted by the authorities including the Auditor-General, the Public Accounts Committee and Bank Negara.

“These authorities have all the relevant information, and we request all parties to await the outcome of their findings before making further allegations and rushing to judgement.” Swiss citizen Xavier Andre Justo, a former employee of PetroSaudi International (PSI), was recently detained by Thai police over claims that he had attempted to blackmail his former employer using documents obtained during his time at the company. Among the items supposedly leaked to Sarawak Report included purportedly doctored documents pertaining to 1MDB and PSI.

Latest attack on PM is “political sabotage”, says PMO

3 JULY 2015 @ 2:25 PM KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) today slammed the latest attack on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, describing it as an act of “political sabotage”.

The PMO attributed the attack to several individuals who are out to undermine confidence in the economy, tarnish the government as well as to remove Najib as the prime minister.

"Despite the Prime Minister's successful stewardship of Malaysia's economy against global headwinds - as recognised this week by Fitch's upgrade - there have been concerted efforts by certain individuals to undermine confidence in our economy, tarnish the government, and remove a democratically-elected Prime Minister.

“These latest claims, attributed to unnamed investigators as a basis to attack the Prime Minister, are a continuation of this political sabotage,” said the PMO in a statement issued this afternoon. The PMO said it was also relevant to note that such attacks came after revelations that criminal leaking of documents, doctoring and extortion had been highlighted with regards to 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). “It has been reported that criminal leaking of documents, doctoring and extortion has taken place to mislead the media and public. “So it is incumbent on responsible members of the media not to accept documents as genuine unless verified by the appropriate authorities. “Regarding the allegations themselves, it must be noted that 1MDB has already stated that the company never provided funds to the prime Minister.”

Earlier today, several online news portals had highlighted claims made by Sarawak Report that 1MDB had transferred funds to the prime minister. 1MDB in response labeled the reports as “highly irresponsible” and a deliberate attempt to undermine the company. In its statement, the government investment company said the claims made by the media outlets, which supposedly stemmed from “leaked” documents, were being used to mislead the public. 1MDB maintained that it had never provided any funds to the prime minister.

1MDB also added that recent revelations that the “leaked” documents may have been tampered with and used for blackmail and extortion, had raised concerns about the veracity of the documents. Swiss citizen Xavier Andre Justo, a former employee of PetroSaudi International (PSI), was recently detained by Thai police over claims that he had attempted to blackmail his former employer using documents obtained during his time at the company. Among the items supposedly leaked to Sarawak Report included purportedly doctored documents pertaining to 1MDB and PSI.

1MDB, in its statement, expressed surprise that the dicuments, whose existence and authenticity had yet to be publicly verified, continued to be used as a basis to create new allegations against the company.

Black, white or Brown?

BY A. JALIL HAMID - 5 JULY 2015 @ 12:03 PM
LAST Friday, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) and the now tainted Sarawak Report (SR) went to town with their so-called scoop alleging that Datuk Seri Najib Razak pocketed RM2.6 billion (US$700 million) from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and other state entities.

The prime minister has fired back, saying that he never took any funds for personal gain and that this latest allegation could again be the work of his political opponents out to topple him. In fact, he went a step further by saying he believed that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, working hand in glove with foreigners including the political blog SR, could be behind the latest lie.

The open war between Najib and Dr Mahathir has moved a few notches up with Najib unlikely to take it lying down any more. For months, he has tried to restrain himself out of respect for the elderly statesman, but he has now run out of patience and reached the point of no return. Najib attended a buka puasa event with some mainstream media editors on Thursday night when he talked about the need for the media to seek the truth and not be a purveyor of lies and half-truths.

Right now, people don’t bother to check or recheck their facts and accept those things being churned out by the social media as gospel truth. Najib might or might not have known that the WSJ and SR reports were going to hit the town the next day. But he looked jovial that night and even joked with journalists that he lost a bit of weight not because of political stress but because of his new diet regime. He has not been eating rice for the last nine months. Instead, he replaced rice with quinoa as his staple food.

The latest attack appeared coordinated between WSJ writer Ken Brown, SR’s founder, Clare Rewcastle Brown, and, as Najib alleged, Dr Mahathir. Ken Brown is WSJ Hong Kong bureau chief. It appears that Ken Brown’s expose could be used to create a diversion and rescue Clare Brown from being implicated in the “Justogate” scandal for stealing, doctoring and tampering with emails and documents related to 1MDB to implicate Najib. Dr Mahathir’s problem with Najib started not long after Najib took over in early 2009. But things came to a head soon after the 13th General Election when Barisan Nasional under Najib did worse than in the 12th General Election. Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir’s narrow defeat to Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Najib’s cousin, for an Umno vice-president’s post made things worse.

Najib’s no-holds-barred statement on Friday showed little deference to the man he once served. “These attacks began when I refused to implement Tun Mahathir’s personal demands. I refused because I do not believe it is right for Malaysia to be ruled by proxy. “Tun then created a crisis when he recklessly claimed that RM42 billion was missing from 1MDB, when in fact these are audited debts backed by RM51 billion audited assets.” The fight between the two is likely to escalate. With so much at stake, no one is going to easily give up. Knowing Dr Mahathir, he will not stop a fight he started. For sure, things will get messier from now.
