GLASS SHOES - SBS (2002)

Starring:

Kim Hyun Joo (Kim Yoon Hee)
Kim Ji Ho (Kim Tae Hee)
Soh Ji Sup (Chul Oong)
Han Jae Suk (Jae Hyuk)

Synopsis:
When Tae Hee (Kim Ji Ho) and Yoon Hee (Kim Hyun Joo)'s parents pass away, they leave home to find their grandfather, who they have never seen. The grandfather (Baek Il Sup) is also trying to find his two grandchildren. When Tae Hee goes after pickpockets that steal her wallet, she loses her younger sister, Yoon Hee. Tae Hee, though, finds and lives with her grandfather and aunt with the help of Jae Hyuk (Han Jae Suk) -a kid that only helped her because he knew Tae Hee was the grandchild of a very rich person. Yoon Hee, on the other hand, is hit by a car and loses her memory. The family that had hit her raises her (even though they don't want to), and fifteen years past by. Yoon Hee now has the name Sun Woo, and she is a bright girl that works several jobs. Later on, she enters the company her grandfather owns. Her friend, Chul Oong (So Ji Sup) , is the son of the grandfather's driver. Kim Jung Hwa is his sister. Tae Hee also enters her grandfather's company as a unknown employee in an attempt to get recognized for her skills, not because she is the president's grandchild. She is still in search of her younger sister. Sung Hee (Kim Min Sun), who is the evil daughter of the family Sun Woo grew up with, pretends to be Yoon Hee in front of Tae Hee, which makes things more complicated. Eventually, though, the sisters will finally reunite. Just like the Cinderella story, Yoon Hee is a poor girl that later turns out to be the daughter of a very rich grandfather, and her life is changed. The only problem is: who will she pick to be her prince...Jae Hyuk (her sister's boyfriend) or Chul Oong.

rating: Very Good
comments: The children cast that first comes out is adorable (the girl came out in Piano, and the boy came out in Fall Story). Once they grow up (which is really soon), the story goes really fast, and gets better and better . The parts where Kim Hyun Joo and So Ji Sup come out are really funny.

Drama ni menarik tapi macamana nak mengikuti sepenuhnya kalau tanpa subtitle? :re:

bukan takat cite K-Drama tp cite cina pun takde subtitle ..
maybe diorg kekurang ahli penterjemah bahasa kot ..

Hmm... ade tak transcript cite ni kat internet? Cam "All About Eve" kan ada, w/pun in English tapi at least boleh paham gaks. :re:

geramnyer bukak ch9 semalam...tensen, tensen...penat mengantar email kat ch9, bukannya diorang consider...kan ke berlambak penterjemah kat luar sana nun...kalau nak murah, ambik je students yg nak buat part time...

first episod memang nampak best la...sedih pun ada...kakaknya tu (Tae Hee) memang nampak sangat sayangkan adiknya tu (Yoon Hee)...

Sorrylah mk pun ingat ade terjemahan untuk Glass Shoe sebab dah keluar
kat pasaran malay version....memang Channel 9 tak prihatin ngan penonton
taklah tak de subtitle....mk pun balik rumah tak sempat nak tengok glass shoe
sebab sampai rumah dan kul 7...kita pun ade cd cite nie..cuma tak sempat
nak tengok lagi...mk minat kat So ji Sup

goggle pun rasa Channel 9 tak patut siarkan cerita KDorama kalau mereka masih kekurangan pekerja.paling teruk pun kan,vcd Glass Shoe dah pun ada keluar dipasaran with Malay Subtitle.vcd ni blh dijadikan rujukan.

agak sedih sbb tiada subtitle.macamana nak follow cerita ni?

alamatnya citer ni takkan dapat rating yg tinggi di kalangan non-Chinese...dahle kena bersaing hebat dgn Popcorn (ntv7) & Colourful Life (TV3)...diorang kat ch9 tu tak terfikir ke?

utk pengetahuan win,kalau x salah goggle,semua rancangan channel 9 xde subtitle tmasuk citer omputih.mmg tension nak tgk,lebih-lebih lg kalau citer korea,jepun atau cina.kalau citer omputih tu,fahamlah sikit.

The drama's actually quite nice walaupun jenis melodrama. Ceritanya menarik & soundtrack pun not bad, very catchy ;).

Sempat tengok sikit-sikit walaupun tak faham completely. Ala-ala fairytale Cinderella (tajuk pun Glass Shoes). Suka dengan the 2 actresses (Kim Ji Ho & Kim Hyun Jo) yang berlakon as siblings tu, nampak muka pun macam sisters. And Han Jae Suk's character pun better (& bergaya) than previous AAE & Tears in Her Eyes.

Kebetulan yesterday, tertengok a documentary (in Mandarin, kalau tak silap) on Ch.9 - Focus Asia which surprisingly came with Malay subtitles. Tak pastilah jika the documentary memang dah ada subtitle sebelum ni tapi it's certainly a good sign, kan. Hopefully lepas ni the Chinese serial & K-dramas on Ch.9 will be subtitled as well.
