Rainie's character (Tong Jia Di):
[Romance. Please don't joke with me. I have got no time for that. My motivation in life is to make more money $$.]
Romance is never in her agenda. Jia Di's dreams shattered when her father passed away when she was young, leaving her behind with her grumpy mother, a spendthrift and good for nothing brother and a uncle who gives her nothing but trouble. Jai Di's concern is to think of all means and ways to make more money to improve their living condition. Jia Di works as a part-time in a mega mart to satisfy her small girl fantasy of being surrounded by pretty dresses and stuff. Heaven has played a joke on Jia Di, giving her two men, Huo Da (Mike) and Huo Yan (KingOne), a devil and a prince charming. But no matter who she chooses, a poor girl can never match up to a prince living in different worlds.
Mike's character (Huo Da) :
[This is how I am. If you can't stand it, shut your eyes and go to sleep.]
22 years old. The second son of the Huo's empire. In the eyes of the outsiders, he is wilful, bad tempered and self-centred, an extreme from his half brother, Huo Yan. Don't be too happy if he smiles at you, he is definitely up to no good. However, he does have his soft spots, a childhood friend Yan Shu, who he has been liking since young. Yan Shu however has eyes only for Huo Yan and never really pays attention to him. Huo Da has developed hard feelings when his mother had to bring the mistress' son Huo Yan back to the Huo family and felt his father had betrayed them. His mother passed away shortly suffering from depression. Huo Da never knew what is sympathy and caring until Jia Di comes along.
KingOne's character (Huo Yan):
[I am not giving in. I just don't fight for things that doesn''t belong to me.]
24 years old. The eldest son of the Huo's empire. Charming, polite and capable is what others view of him, especially so in comparison to his devilrish half-brother. Eveyone thinks that he should naturally be the successor to the Huo empire and he has everything he wants. But he knows very well in his heart where he stands, that he is just the mistress' son, he is brought to the Huo after Hua Da's mother has paid a handsome sum to his mother in exchange for him.
He works harder to gain recognition so that people doesn't look down on him. He has never wanted anything for himself in his life, all he ask for is to play his part well until he meets Jia Di. A girl he would never thought to have anything with came into his life, for the very first time, he had something he wished to fight for.

Episod 1
Short Summary
Jia Dee and her friend Xiao Nan celebrate her 20th birthday and ask her to make 3 wishes: 1st wish pray for the health of all her relatives & close friend, 2nd wish pray for money to settle the debt and 3rd wish is for Xiao Nan... but Xiao Nan want her to wish for boyfriend. So they bet that Jia Dee need to ask for phone number from the 10th guy who passes in front of them...
When the 10th guy turned to appear, two cars was racing in front of them and later got accident. They rush to hospital and saw Mike and Kingone... so Xiao Nan ask who is the 10th guy... later Xiao Nan said must be Mike cos he hurt his leg. Later Mike took out the card from the fun fair earlier he got and pass to Jia Dee... request her to be her maid for one week

Ep 1

Jia Di (Rainie) is really poor. She and her best friend, Xiao Nan, are temps at this huge department store chain and the department store is doing a fair as a charity fundraising event. Somehow, Jia Di and Xiao Nan got to open a booth, and Xiao Nan (arrives late, first, and then) comes up with brilliant idea to sell their services, like manicures, massages, hair restyling etc. etc. that the customer would pick randomly out of the box. Well, one little girl picks errand-running as a service, and asks JD to get her balloon.
JD runs away and gets the balloon, but on her way back, Mike's character arrives on a motor bike and almost runs into JD. He stops in time, of course, but JD gets all scared and lets go of the balloon. She asks him to get her a balloon back. He doesn't. They fight. He ends up getting her an ice cream (for waiting for the balloon?) and she smears it on him and feels all better. But then he gets mad and almost punches her...
And then I think his older brother appears? (Kingone) He's all nice to her and lends her a hankerchief because Mike smeared dirt all over her face. She then has a balloon (somehow, don't remember) and she decides to bring it to the little girl.
Meanwhile, they announce that the "second son"/"bad son" (a pun, since they sound similar in Chinese) has arrived. He coerces his dad into donating NT$1 million if he does a stunt on a motorbike and forces the other big rich business owners to do the same (they donate even more). His older brother tries to stop him, of course, and the woman, but he persists. Mike accuses all of them of not trusting him. The woman says back, "Do we have a reason to trust you?" Then, JD finds the little girl in the audience and tells the little girl that people should trust other people. So, Mike hears this and decides to use her as his assistant in the stunt and basically guilt-trips her into helping him. ("Think of all the money that would not be donated if I don't get somebody to do it with me.")
He does it (jump over her on a motorcycle and grab the balloon). She faints from fear. Kingone catches her. Then, they both end up by her booth. Mike picks the ticket for "angel service for 7 days", basically she'll do anything she can to make his life easier for 7 days (NT$7000). And Kingone gets the "Love" ticket, aka JD as his girlfriend. The woman is against this... but anyways, they both pay, and keep the ticket, but have no intention of using it.

Fast forward 10 days... it's JD's 20th birthday. XN, her best friend, gives a surprise cake and tells her that her 3 wishes on this day are going to come true for sure. So she wishes to clear all her family's debt and for good health. XN gets mad at her... so JD wishes to give XN her 3rd wish. XN then wishes for JD to get the number from the 10th guy that comes by.
They wait... and there are ugly and old people... and then the two brothers racing on the motorbike. XN is all for it. So they get on her mopad and go after the brothers. (Like lambs chasing lions... or some such analogy). The brothers get into an accident and end up in the hospital. XN and JD go in. The woman is also there. JD ends up asking for Kingone's number. He ends up giving it to her (0978366966... yes, I memorized it... or at least it's something like this), much to the surprise and anger of the woman. They leave.
On the way home, JD drops her phone, because she was surprised. Her mom was chasing her uncle out of the house because her uncle (who likes to invest... but gets scammed easily) took out high-interest loans (probably from an underground bank) to "invest" but it didn't go through. In order to avoid getting a hand cut off, he tried to steal the mom's deed to the house. Her brother comes by and kicks the phone. Her mother tells him that even the phone costs money, so he stops.
Then, JD is trying to fix the phone, and her brother asks her for something. At first, she thought that he was going to fix her phone. Then, he says, no, I want NT$2000. She says that's too expensive to fix a phone. He says, "Who wants to fix your phone? I want to go to [some] concert." They get into an argument about that. Basically, the brother doesn't work, doesn't study. He wants to be a model and a singer... and he wants to go to concerts to study. NT$2000 is a month's food expenses, though... They argue some more. The brother says, how 'bout giving it to me as an early birthday gift. JD is very firm in not giving it to him. In the end, the mother gets sick of it, though, and gives it to him. Then, JD says, "Mom, I..."
The mother cuts her off with, "Hasn't today been awful enough?"
Mom leaves. JD says quietly that today is her birthday...

Meanwhile, the two brothers are placed in the same room in the hospital much to both their displeasures. But even the one VIP room was difficult to find. So, they have to make do. Mike sprawls all over the beds. Kingone makes a remark about how dogs do that.
They fight.
Mike asks Kingone to turn off the light. Kingone won't because Mike didn't say, "Please." So, then, Mike presses the emergency button. A nurse rushes in, and gets completely upset (with good reason) that they called her just to turn off the light. She mostly lectures Kingone, not Mike, though. Then, huffs out, turning off the light.
Sometime in there, the woman calls, and when Kingone asks if she wants to speak with Mike, Mike perks up, but then Kingone doesn't hand the phone to Mike saying, "The patient with common sense wouldn't talk on cellphones at the hospital." because Mike yelled at Kingone for having a cell phone earlier. Mike falls back on bed, deflated.
The next day... Kingone needs to go to bathroom, but can't unzip his pants. Mike helps... but he can't walk... They both say "please".
Eventually, the woman comes by and pushes Mike on a wheelchair out for a walk. She asks about how the accident happened. He explains, saying that it was a bet between his brother and him. His brother wanted him to stay in the university until he graduates. ("This is your third university. Did you want to fail out of every university in Taiwan?") Kingone said that he would best Mike at anything. So Mike said let's race, but if I win, I want something, too, but he doesn't tell Kingone what it is. The woman gets all upset that Mike made Kingone risk his life just so Mike will stay in uni.
She leaves. Mike looks at her back and laments, "But you don't ask me what I would risk my life for... It's you. If I had won, I would have asked him to give you to me." (Or something like that, can't remember exactly.)

There are a couple of scenes I missed. One is XN trying to remember the "Perfect 10th man's number" in class...
Also, sometime in the hospital, Kingone mentions something about when he moved into Mike's family at the age of 8 (or 10?)... leading me to think that they're either half brothers or step brothers.
Oh, and there's a flashback of when the woman and Mike were young...
