'Grindhouse' to Be Split in Two?

HOLLYWOOD - Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is planning to re-release Grindhouse as two separate films--after the double-bill flopped at the box office.

The film, a double feature directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, made just $11.6 million in its opening weekend in the U.S.

Producer Weinstein is disappointed--and thinks Tarantino's Death Proof and Rodriguez's Planet Terror will perform better on their own.

He tells PageSix.com, "I don't think people understood what we were doing. The audience didn't get the idea that it is two movies for the price of one. I don't understand the math, but I want to accommodate the audience."

untuk international punya release, Grindhouse dipisahkan, Planet Terror dan Death Proof. kat US ditayangkan sekaligus dua2 back-to-back.

tapi aku yakin takkan lepas masuk Malaysia. aku dah tengok 2-2. kalau nak banding antara 2, bagi aku Death Proof lagi best. Planet Terror tahap ok biasa je.

Mmg best citer dia nie.. walaupun banyak gak scene2 dialog dari scene action.. but for me its worth it.. mmg brutal citer dia nie..

Yang best, penampilan citer ni macam citer2 zaman 70an.. dengan kaler dan jugak camera angle dia.. Lebih cam B-grade movie.. so jangan la rasa cam tertipu bila buka DVD or tgk kat wayang tgk color citer ni dah luntur.. mmg dia buat camtue untuk kembalikan nostalgia lama2 masa tgk wayang drive in..

Pasal tuelaa nama dia GRINDHOUSE..

Skang nie tgh cari citer Planet Terror pulak..
