We already have the Metis-M fixed onto the G-wagon. These new medium/long range 18 ATGW which will be vehicle mounted is heavy weight and must have multiple rounds for reload. For comparison, our existing Adnan ACv-300 with single Baktar Shikan launcher and carries additional 6-8 reloads.

If the G-wagon is used, not sure if it can handle the weight of these new ATGW, and if it can handle the weight; how many additional reload it can carry. Hence these new ATGW will be used on tracked vehicles.

I think few of the MBT can fire certain ATGM with their main gun, such as T-80 version. Why not improved our PT-91M to use such weapon?

such ATGW is optimised for use in deserts with no or little obstruction. another thing is the tank have to be stationary until the missile impacted on the target hence the tank will be a sitting duck.

As for me, I would choose vehicle mounted heavy anti tank missile to defeat present or future MBT threat.
