***SPOILER ALERT***

So I saw Spider-Man 3 at the 1:30pm show.

This seems to be a well made sequel (but not without its problem). The special effects are great (Sandman, Venom). However, I think this movie had too much thing going for it and too little time was done to explore each characters.

In Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man 2, each villain had their moment to shine. But in this third movie, you have villains like Flint/Sandman, Eddie/Venom, and Harry/Hobgoblin(?), not to mention Gwen Stacy and Captain Stacy. Even worse is Harry Osborn not getting enough spotlight despite the fact that he played a significant role at the end of the movie.

The arrival of the alien symbiote from a meteorite was rather tacky at best. It arrived on earth and it happens to crash down very close to Peter Parker? The origin of the symbiote was not even made clear. Maybe they are saving it up for Spider-Man 4? Who knows. I also am not very convinced on Marko Flint becoming The Sandman by just falling into a pit which happens to be a giant test tube. Why is it such an important experiment facility had 0 security?

Maybe its me but I'm rather tired to see Mary Jane being in the damsel in distress in all 3 movies. I don't want to see a Spider-Man movie where every cliffhanger battles he will have to save Mary Jane from impending doom.

Anyway its a good movie but I can't say its any better than Spider-Man 2.

i think the movie is decent and best describe as a rush movie ..

the meteor that was crashing around peter parker was just not logic . Nasa or something should detect the crash or something . and the explosion is not that great only like bird drops . no flaming explosion or whatsoever ..

and the venom introduction was decent .. venom lacks action in this 3rd movie ..

some of the spiderman movements are a bit lacking . u can see spidey swing his web from point a to b . and the rest are old stuff . no new acrobatic stuff to be seen .

as a spidey fan i felt that it was a disappointing sequel and most of the people here rushing to get out of the cinema ( belum habis the terjemahan oleh bla. semua dah balik, agaknya dah boring ker apa . ntah la . ) .

as a fan of both comic and the movie....I am impressed! ^_^

The part that's lacking is the symbiote effect. I mean, when spidey was wearing it, I didn't see the same symbiote effect when eddie was wearing it. IT SHOULD BE THE SAME. The symbiote could enable peter to change costume at will...not wearing it like the same spidey suit and taking it out of the box!

As for spidey skills, his web swing and fighting technique have improved.
1. He can cling to falling walls and debris.
2. Impact webbing is being used frequently.
3. He can slingshot himself farther while swinging.

I've been sympathizing with Harry from S1 and seeing the thing he went through in S2 and S3 made me see him as a realistic character. It's nice to see him enjoying life during his 'amnesia phase'...and it's nice to see him do what he did in the ending.

There's plenty of fighting sequence. I like

awal2 mcm lembab sket. tp dh tgh2 tu rushing plak. n kali ni byk betol scenes sedih2, tp still ok.
aku kasi 7/10. pd aku spider-man 2 lagi mantap.

u mean automatic eh .. ya i think it should be like the venom  . in the amazing spiderman series , spiderman just "feel to be venom" then pop the venom clothes attached to him automatic , no need tu buka the box like the movie . its kinda crap i think :lol ..

i think spiderman 2 battle scene more tense then spiderman 3 . spiderman 3 fight scene was average . the first battle was so so .. btw i hate the dancing scene . quite a waste of time .. >_>
