Britney Spears nak ceraikan Kevin Federline
from msn.co.uk
Pop star Britney filing for divorce
Britney Spears has filed for divorced from Kevin Federline, officials said.
The Los Angeles County Superior Court filing cites "irreconcilable differences," said court spokeswoman Kathy Roberts.
Spears, 24, married rapper Kevin Federline, 28, in 2004. They have a one-year-old son, Sean Preston, and an infant son who was born on September 12. The couple have not confirmed the infant's name, which is reportedly Jayden James.
The news broke just a day after Spears flaunted her slimmed-down post-baby figure and a sleek bobbed haircut in a surprise appearance on David Letterman's TV show.
The court papers show that Spears wants both legal and physical custody of the couple's children, Sean Preston, one and two-month-old Jayden James, with Federline getting visitation rights.
He has two other children from a previous relationship.
Spears and Federline's marriage has been the subject of constant media speculation that it was in trouble, something they have always denied.
Spears, who has sold 60 million albums worldwide, wed the dancer and aspiring rapper eight months after a 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander.
Just last week Federline, whose attempts at a musical career have attracted much derision, revealed he was planning to write an autobiography about his life before meeting Spears.
"I didn't realise how much people love to hate me," he told the New York Post. |

Britney Spears Files for Divorce
Spears filed legal papers today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights.
As for money, sources tell TMZ the couple, who married in Sept. 2004, has an iron-clad prenup. Not surprisingly, Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees.
Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events."
I think it was all this wrestling nonsense that put her over the edge. Holy crap! I'm stunned! Just ... stunned!

Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline, PEOPLE has confirmed.
L.A. Superior Court spokesperson Pat Kelly tells PEOPLE, "Yes, it's confirmed. It was filed today, on the grounds of irreconcilable differences." TMZ.com was the first to report the filing.
Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 and have two sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12.
According legal documents filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles, Spears seeks custody of both boys, with Federline getting visitation rights.
Spears gives a separation date of Monday. She asks that each party pay their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support. She also requests that certain assets, including "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects," be confirmed as separate property.
She and Federline, 28, both spent the weekend in New York City, but Spears did not appear at any of the events promoting Federline's new CD, Playing with Fire.
Still, on Friday night at his record release party at the Manhattan hot spot Stereo, Federline shot down rumors of strife in his marriage, telling PEOPLE, "I don't waste any energy thinking about these things. I don't get caught up in it."
But the previous week, he admitted that, because of his touring schedule, "I'm not going to see my family as much as I want to, but I mean, those are the sacrifices you make as an artist." |

Britney Spears filed for divorce today citing "irreconcilable differences" and asking for both legal and physical custody of their two children with K-Fed getting reasonable visitation rights. As for money, the two have already signed a prenup, although Britney is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees, which means when they show up in court Britney is gonna have her expensive celebrity lawyer and K-Fed is gonna have half a hot dog because he couldn't afford the rest.
Britney also gives the date of separation as yesterday, which is the same day she showed up on David Letterman's show looking oddly good. I don't want to imply Kevin Federline was the cancer in this relationship, but if we still remember who this guy is in 6 months it'll be a testament to how far we've fallen as a society. |

Behind Britney's Break Up Round Up
Tue, 11/07/2006 - 4:36pm
It's all coming together now. The little clues that we did not notice before the bomb Ms Brit dropped on us today. Like her NOT wearing her wedding ring on Letterman. As you know, we are still so thrilled - Britney showed K-Fed the door today, and to no surprise every weekly magazine out there is all over the news. Stay tuned as we find out every juicy detail and in the meantime here's the lastest round up:
* People has a time line mapping out their separate lives.
* Life & Style says K-Fed is so focused on his career he had no idea Britney was planning to file for divorce, and Brit's family and friends were all in the dark as well.
* BWE has a few details from the pre-nup and we can rest easy knowing K-Fed won't be getting Brit's fortune. It looks like he's only getting $30K per month for a year.
* In Touch said K-Fed left Britney in tears at a restaurant and that was the final blow.
* US Weekly has details on some final fights between the couple. Here are a few more details from US Weekly:
At a bash for Federline's album release at club Xenii in L.A. on October 31, the couple, say sources, had an explosive argument. While Federline worked the crowd (onstage earlier in the night he yelled, "Ladies, I love you!"), Spears was hidden away in an upstairs dressing room.
Before Halloween night was officially over, the pop star, dressed in a black minidress and barefoot, made a dramatic exit. "She ran down the stairs crying and stormed out," a witness says. "Her eyes were swollen and her eyeliner was smudged. She looked like a complete mess." Federline didn't run after his wife.
Matters remained unresolved by the time the couple headed east (Spears even postponed her NYC arrival by one day), and the pop star was spotted welling up in public again on November 2 while having dinner with a male friend at Library, her hotel's restaurant. "She cried on and off the whole meal," an onlooker tells Us.
Based on Britney's appearance on Letterman, she seems to be so happy and ready to move on with her life and focus on her boys. We are still in shock. Not that we didn't see this coming but just not out of the blue like this today. We can't wait to see what Britney has in store for us next. |

Britney's Back Baby! Time to show Kevin the Door!
Tue, 11/07/2006 - 1:15pm
There is a reason behind Britney's out of no-where Letterman appearance last night. She is making it clear that she is coming back and the next big step - she filed for a divorce today in LA citing irreconcilable differences. She's also asking for custody of both Jayden and Sean Preston. TMZ reports:
Spears filed legal papers today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights.

Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events."
Spears has hired powerhouse celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has repped a number of celebs, including Angelina Jolie, Nick Lachey and Kiefer Sutherland. We're told Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe asked Wasser to rep both of them in their split, but Wasser declined for personal reasons.
Looks like Britney is wising up in her old age. You go girl! We'll be watching you every step of the way! So long Federline. I cannot even contain my excitement right now. I'm off to do cartwheels!! Stay tuned for legal court documents to come! |
