Nie ada review kereta Daihatsu Sirion ..yg Myvie nie based on...tapi maybe ada ler perbezaan sket kot...but should'nt be much...

Small cars are a bit of a Daihatsu speciality, but sadly, in the past, they've all too often been pooh-poohed as being a bit, well, how can I put this, um, pooh.

Not so now. This is the second generation Sirion, and it - along with the 2003-released little-brother Charade - is leading Daihatsu's charge of good value, modern-looking, easy to drive cars.

Get past the badge and you'll find a perky little city car that has plenty to recommend it. With its flared wheelarches and inoffensive styling, it's been designed with European tastes in mind, which is no bad thing. The sparkling, geometrically-shaped headlights and subtle grille give it a cheeky look, and alloy wheels - standard on SE versions like this one - add to the overall external appeal. Open your mind to it and you'll soon begin to realise it's actually very cute .

Inside, Daihatsu's designers have wielded the funky stick to good effect. The enormous speedo is a suitably wacky touch, and the silver centre console is modern, but the pod-like rev counter (only available on the SE) takes a bit more getting used to. The only downside is the stretch for the controls, which is a bit far, even for the long-armed.

Which brings us to the seats, which are set quite high, even on the lowest setting. A positive boon for the height-challenged, but for those a little bit taller, finding a comfortable position can be tricky.

Tak payah ada kunci ler deeh...kan kerusi belakang tu bleh turunkan....kalau kabel putus pon..ambik aje barang dari belakang seat tu..tk susah pon...
