KUALA LUMPUR - Satu himpunan solidariti akan diadakan di ibu pejabat Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM), Putrajaya malam ini sebagai tanda sokongan kepada bekas Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Pemantau Kerajaan Malaysia Baharu, Datuk Lokman Noor Adam berkata, himpunan juga sebagai tanda bantahan terhadap penganiayaan yang dilakukan ke atas Najib.
Katanya, rakyat Malaysia diseru untuk menyertai himpunan tersebut semalam dua jam bermula jam 9 malam.
“Mari kita korbankan masa untuk turun ke ibu pejabat SPRM, Putrajaya, sebagai tanda solidariti kita kepada Najib dan rasa kecewa kita kepada pemerintah yang zalim,” katanya dalam kenyataan, hari ini.

Pasukan Petugas Khas (Task Force) 1MDB mengesahkan tangkapan terhadap Najib, pada jam 2.35 petang tadi berkaitan isu SRC International Sdn Bhd. Beliau akan didakwa pagi esok di Mahkamah Kuala Lumpur.
Dalam pada itu, Lokman turut mempersoalkan keperluan SPRM menahan Najib dan memaksanya tidur di lokap malam ini.
“Adakah beliau penjenayah yang ingin melarikan diri daripada proses perundangan? Bukankah sebelum ini beliau memberikan kerjasama penuh untuk hadir ke SPRM tanpa sebarang masalah?
“Tidak bolehkah cara yang sama digunakan oleh SPRM untuk mengundang Najib ke mahkamah bagi proses pendakwaan?,” soalnya.

KUALA LUMPUR — A group led by a United Malays National Organisation (Umno) supreme council member has called for supporters of Datuk Seri Najib Razak to gather outside the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Tuesday (July 3) night in protest of his arrest earlier in the day.
In a statement with the hashtags “#Solidariti4DSNR” and “#Pray4DSNR”, Pemantau Malaysia Baru president Datuk Lokman Noor Adam described the arrest as an injustice to Mr Najib, claming that the latter will not be charged on Wednesday over misappropriating 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) fund but will instead be charged under the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA).
“I am pleading with all Malaysians, let us protest the injustice done to Datuk Seri Najib Razak tonight. Be with me for two hours, from 9pm to 11 pm tonight.
“Let us sacrifice our time and head to the MACC headquarters... in solidarity with Datuk Seri Najib and to express our disappointment towards a cruel regime,” he said.
Mr Lokman added that if Mr Najib was not charged over the 1MDB scandal on Wednesday, it will be proof that all the claims against Mr Najib over the issue were untrue.
“Pantau Malaysia Baru is questioning the need for MACC to arrest Datuk Seri Najib and to force him to sleep in the lockup tonight.
“Is he a criminal who wants to escape from being tried in court? Did he not cooperate before this and appeared at the MACC headquarters without any issue? Can’t the same method to be used to bring Najib to court for the legal process to take place?” he asked.
MACC officials arrested Mr Najib at the former prime minister’s house on Jalan Langgak Duta in Kuala Lumpur.
He was brought to the MACC headquarters here where he will be remanded for one night before being taken to the High Court in Kuala Lumpur at 8.30am on Wednesday for prosecution.
The Pekan Member of Parliament, who resigned as Umno president and Barisan Nasional chairman after the coalition’s defeat in the May 9 general election, is under investigation for suspected criminal wrongdoing in his brainchild 1MDB, founded in 2009 as a sovereign vehicle to attract foreign investment into the country. Anggota biro penerangan Umno, Datuk Lokman Bin Noor Adam membidas kerajaan HARAPAN selepas perkhidmatannya di Kementerian Kewangan ditamatkan hari ini.
Lokman Adam dilantik pada 2016 oleh perdana menteri dan menteri kewangan ketika itu Datuk Seri Najib Razak sebagai pengarah komunikasi strategik Kementerian Kewangan.
“Hari ini saya secara rasmi ditamatkan Perkhidmatan Sebagai Pengarah Komunikasi MOF oleh Regim Mahathir DAP.
“Saya ucap jutaan terima kasih kepada semua kakitangan MOF yang melayan saya dengan baik.
“Moga Allah selamatkan penjawat awam yang lain,” kata beliau di Facebook dan Instagram.
Penamatan khidmat Lokman dipercayai susulan keputusan Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad yang bertemu Ketua Setiausaha Negara Tan Sri Ali Hamsa dan juga ketua pengarah kesemua kementerian bagi memberi arahan dasar kerajaan baru. |
