The film has been stated to be not a typical adaptation, but more of a new take on the series. Additionally, King has tweeted a photo of the Horn of Eld with the caption "Last Time Around", which is related to a scene from the end of the final book and Arcel said that fans will know the movie is a sequel to the book series. The film is set to be released on August 4, 2017 in 3D and 2D.

Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), the last Gunslinger, is locked in an eternal battle with Walter O'Dim (Matthew McConaughey), also known as the Man in Black. The Gunslinger must prevent the Man in Black from toppling the Dark Tower, the key that holds the universe together. As stated it wont be a full adaptation, likely more focus on Roland Deschain character & his journey. And intro into the dark tower.
As this going to be a very dark movie storyline, ai baca dalam certain scene direktor ada selit sikit reference a few Stephen Kings punya universe.
Harap tak terlalu deep for a new sequel.

but so far adaptation from king's novel to m ...
They are coming out Dark Towers tv series too
So hopefully for those who never baca novel dulu bole try to see the storyline

Sony Pictures has released a new featurette for the upcoming The Dark Tower feature film, including interviews with stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey and series creator Stephen King! Check it out in in the player below.
Stephen King's The Dark Tower is the most ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors. Now the story comes to the big screen starring Idris Elba as Roland Deschain, The Gunslinger, and Matthew McConaughey as Walter O’Dim (AKA Randall Flagg, The Man in Black, in the novels). Anyway, interesting sebab walaupun presis futuristik, Idris Alba masih mengekalkan revolver zaman American Western.

filem adaptasi novel King mmg wajib tonton weihh..
tp satu jela yg agak xbest ,patutnya Frank Darabont yg arah cite ni baru best gilerrr..adaptasi novel king oleh beliau sblm ni (shawshank redemption,the green mile) tu mmg best giler tak terkata..both rank among greatest movies of all time.
Shawshank tu smpai skrg tak tergugat,kekal takhta top #1 rating 9.2/10 kat Imdb

Best ke? Aku xbaca lg gunslinger series ni. Padahal aku mmg peminat stephen king, semua buku dia aku beli except series ni. Somehow aku xberminat nak baca.. tp if u kata best, terpaksa lah try. Hahahaha
