Big Bang TOP and SS501 Kim Hyun Joong to perform as a band

Kim Hyun Joong will be playing his guitar and TOP will be playing on the piano for this special stage.

One of the officials to the song fest said, "Hyun Joong and TOP used to be seniors and juniors during their high school time. Furthermore the 2 are currently college students hence there should be more attachment to this special stage. They will be showing a side of them that they have never shown before as part of their own groups."

Kim Hyun Joong is now studying multimedia in GyeongGi University while TOP is studying theatrics in DanKook University.

Yes, that is the first big news!

Kim Hyun Joong from SS501 is the first cast confirmed for the Korean version Hana Yori Dango aka Meteor Garden by Group Eight! Hyun Joong will be taking up the role as Tsukasa Doumyoji (the main lead) as the first step of his acting career.

The director for this drama will be Jun Ki Sang who directed the popular series like Delightful Girl Choon Hyang and My Girl. The production team informed that they will adjust the script according to the characteristic of the actor.

Filming will start in October, poor Hyung Joong will be so busy because SS501 is gonna release their album on the same mouth. But oh well, at least he will be so tired that he definitely won't need anymore sleeping pills to help him sleep.

The drama will be aired by the end of 2008.
