101222 Elle Girl January 2011 Issue – Donghae
Super Junior’s Donghae recently took part in a photoshoot and interview with fashion magazine, “Elle Girl“. Utilizing a ‘Magician‘ concept for the photo spread, Donghae was able to showcase a variety of expressions and poses ,which surprised the staff on set. It appears that by acting in his debut drama, “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter“, Donghae was able to further develop his body language. During the interview, Donghae voiced out his passion for his first acting project. “Since it was something I really wanted to do, I was happy when I was given the opportunity.” Talking about his character, ‘Choi Wook Ki’, the idol expressed, “We have similar personalities. But despite having a lot in common, acting it out is hard, as usual.” Having been with Super Junior for five years now, Donghae exhibited pride and love for his fellow group members. “I still consider enjoying promotions with the other members my first priority. If I don’t have the members, I’m nothing. It’s the most fun when I get along with the members.” When asked about the secret to the group’s unity, Donghae did not hesitate to mention leader, Lee Teuk. “I’m glad I was able to meet the leader. Leeteuk-hyung is a really brilliant leader. All the members are also pure, and are people who would take time to listen to other people’s stories. When someone mentions something we did wrong, everyone nods in approval.” The full photo spread and interview can be seen in Elle Girl’s January edition, and will also be revealed on Elle Atzine.

this is the secret news but I have ELF know it.Our leader,don't stop cry since second last day.He is so sading.because he feel can not give something nice to ELF before he left for military service.he say to SJ members "Im sorry,Im not nice leader" and crying again. I go on cry too

Super Junior’s Donghae confesses to thinking about his deceased father while acting
Super Junior’s Donghae recently left a message to his fans and viewers on the official site of his drama, ‘It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter’.
On December 22nd, Donghae wrote on the drama’s official online notice board,
“Through the drama, I have been able to feel the importance of my family again, and I wish I could express my love for my parents more. I have been thinking more about my father in heaven while I’ve been acting. I will work hard to become a son they can be proud of.”
Seems that he’s already doing quite a job.

Super Junior’s Yesung & f(x)’s Luna to release a duet for “President”
Super Junior’s Yesung and f(x)’s Luna will be teaming up to release a duet track titled, “And I Love You“, for KBS’s “President, OST Part 2.”
The song was produced by Lee Sang Joon (of Taeyeon’s “Can You Hear Me“) and lyricist Bae Hwa Young; it’s been determined to be used as the drama’s ‘love theme’.
Super Junior’s “Biting My Lips” (which was released in part 1 of the drama’s OST compilation) performed well on the charts, and it’s expected that the addition of this duet ballad will skyrocket the group’s OST songs to even greater popularity.
Achieve Group DN, the production company for the OST, commented, “The harmonization of their voices was exceptional. The sad melody and emotional lyrics mesh well together in creating a luxurious ballad track that will surely be the best of this winter season.”
“And I Love You” will debut on the December 23rd episode of “President’, and become available on the 30th.

With Super Junior in China for part of their Super Show 3 Tour on December 25, ELFs in Guangzhou have been animated with the prospect of celebrating the Christmas holidays with their favorite idols. Unfortunately, SuJu members and ELFs had their spirits dampened when oncoming showers made the performance stage extremely wet and slippery, forcing the performers to endure low temperatures and rainy weather throughout the show.
One report states that the SuJu members appeared to be shivering from the low temperatures due to their light attire; Sungmin, who was dressed in a top with short sleeves, nearly stopped playing guitar because his fingers were practically frozen stiff.
Furthermore, due to the wet stage, leader Leeteuk and members Siwon and Kyuhyun ended up slipping one after another; Kyuhyun reportedly ended up taking off his shoes and simply enduring the cold by performing barefoot.
Instead of letting the unfortunate circumstances rain on their parade (literally), ELFs still remained supportive, enthusiastically cheering on the performers and waving their pearl sapphire blue glowsticks encouragingly. In return, the members of Super Junior determinedly put forth their best efforts for a strong show decked with holiday festivities by appearing on stage in Christmas-themed attire to sing “Jingle Bells.” The members also wished Sungmin, who will turn 25 (25 in Korean age) on New Year’s Day, an early happy birthday. |
