anyway, aku br tgk the children of men (seperti yg telah beberapa org recommend, esp maberik)

i can't believe, apsal filem ni tak menang cinematografi utk oscar???? the cinematografi is way better than the winner pan's labyrinth...
highly recomended giler2...

particularly, aku suka scene masa kat refugee camp tu... one of the best scene on film EVER!!!
semua ader dlm scene tu, action, sedih, lawak and HIGLY MOViNG & MOTIVATING!!!! malas nak citer, nnt takut spoil org yg belm tgk...
patutnyer for me, the film at least di nominate utk best director... & best film oscar....
aku dah lama minat mamat director ni sejak y tu mama tambien... heheheh

highly recommended.. for me 8.5/10

I heard its a good movie. Tapi I have a thing about war movies, I tend to get too emotionally involved. Cause war really does happen, and it freaks me out. Takut seh. Tapi, bila I dah start tengok, memang susahla nak lekang. He he he. I think i've the DVD somewhere, will check it out. Thanks.

hmm..eventho filem neh merupakan pemenang 2 anugerah Oscar tapi aku rasa ramai jugak yg tak tau pasal filem neh.

Master and Commander: Far Side of The World merupakan one of the most overlooked film of 2003 IMO

filem ni merupakan my favorite sunday afternoon film.

maybe tak se'dark' atau se'artistic' mahupun se'violence' filem2 yg pernah disebutkan kat dalam thread neh tapi filem ni tak pernah gagal in term of excitement when it comes to cinematic experience bagi aku.

a simple loosely-based on historical british naval account during the Napoleon war, Master and Commander tells the story of Captain James Aubrey, commander of british H.M.S Surprise with a direct order to defeat Napoleon's Acheron at the coast of Brazil.

aku yang memang sucker kepada war films regard Master and Commander antara filem perang terbaik pernah aku tonton, terutama sekali in term of naval war.

kekuatan filem ni bukanlah kepada aspek teknikal, tapi pada kekuatan lakonan para pelakonnya yg terdiri dari pelakon dari British dan Australia...dan Paul Bettany memberi Oscar worth performance pd karekter dia dlm filem ni (pada pendapat akula)...

Master and Commander juga merupakan fan favorite films bagi peminat2 Russel Crowe dan might definitely be one of the favorite for war film fans.

THE IRON GIANT is my favorite animated film of all time.

COM depicts what WILL happen. history repeats itself over and over again. fascism, terrorism, war, holocausts.

it's a 'love letter' to humanity.

and it's not a 'war' movie per se. basically a chase/thriller movie. but with more profound meanings and exceptionally executed than the average action movies.

God how i've dreamt to have seen the movie on the big screen.
