ha ah betul tu.nasib kalau dpt immi officer yyg strict.
hari tu masa mendarat kat stansted tu tersgt la mudah procedurnya..tak banyak tanya..i ingat yg dia tanya kenapa dtg sekejap sgt..
masa lepas ambik luggage tu pun kitorang lalu green lane je, sbb malas nak declare brg2..*tak bawak apa pun, stakat megi & ubat2 demam sket ...
personal experience... kalau dpt immi officer yg british indian, memang banyak songel sket |

boocik, masa i nak khatamkan thread London ni dulu, i siap sediakan 1 note book lagi, sebab banyak betul info yang diorang bagi dalam tu...tapi in terms of harga, tak boleh nak rely on the price they stated in the forum sebab tu harga tahun 2005 dulu, sekarang harga dah naik. But activity wise & location wise, banyak yang remain the same.
sekarang buku tu dah lunyai dikeje kan anak i... habis peta dunia dibuatnya kat buku tu... |

you want to be fluent or you want to pick up the slang? Its 2 entirely different thing tau.
i've seen many Malaysians who are fluent in english, despite studying here & not abroad.
and i've seen Malaysians who 'tried' hard to pick up the British slang, which sometimes turn out to be 'fake' to me.
if nak fluent, tak payah pergi jauh2. Kat Malaysia pun boleh.
to me, send your kids to the right school and the right environment, insyaallah, fluent la diorang. |

haah betul... i rasa if i nak gi Japan, kena kumpul 3 tabung KLCC. Note dut dia pun yang colour purple2 jer...tak boleh simpan coin. If tak, tak jejak la kaki ke Japan. |

supposed to be the coldest month..tp since hujung november hari tu they had 'unusually cold early winter' so i rasa tak sejuk mana pon la...

Ada satu story pasal word 'tapau' ni yang until now, my husband akan kenakan i balik. Memang t jadi point dia nak sakat i.
masa kat Manchester, i orderla 2 sets of kebab. Walaupun i dah baca dalam thread ni kata the portions are big, i order gak la 2 sebab kata bulan puasa, perasaan tamak haloba tu tetap ada...hihihi...then, memang tak habis, so i panggil la waiter tu, cakap " can i have the bill please, and please tapau this (sambil tunjuk leftovers yang banyak tu.
then mamat ni pandang i dengan muka blur "sorry mam?"
i jawab la " can you please tapau this, i cant finish it"
then mamat tu " ta- what?"
then my husband dah mengekeh time ni. Then dia cakap "what she's trying to say is, this is for take away. to go."
then mamat tu baru la paham....
then my husband cakap kat i " u ingat kita kat Petaling Street? Tapau tu English Cina la, mana mamat tu nak paham"...
hehehehehe... dah biasa mang-lish bang oiiii....kata 1 Malaysia. |

can i suggest, if you punya English betul2 bad, as in, your English is just as bad as your Japanese (meaning tak tahu apa sangat la), can you please bring a dictionary, for translation. Or if your adik punya English is better than yours, then let him/her do the talking.
Just to be on the safe side, sebab i pun tak tau u punya omputih macam mana. |

u nak ke amsterdam n paris dlm satu hari tu.... just because u tanak rugi duit hotel yg u dah bayar kat eden park tu kan?
cuba check balik hotel tu punya cancellation policies (some hotels do allow free cancellation so boleh la revise balik plan u tu.)
i spent 2 nites in paris and 1 nite in amsterdam pon tak puas (or was it the other way round? lupa lahh.. dah 12 tahun lebih)- itu pon berdua takde anak lagi |

1. nak ke paris kalu naik eurostar kat st pancras train station.
2. paris to amsterdam - naik "high speed train" Thalys 4 jam. Kalu naik bas ... 8 jam.
