Sorry Syed. I have a feeling you have been had. Being an ex banker you should have known that there was no way for that kind of money to have gone through a small branch of a small bank without the HQ being alerted. There was no way BNM would not have been informed. Three things seem to be odd: one, that Najib could have cleared the air simply by asking the bank or Bank Negara to deny the allegations but he preferred to let the controversy simmer. Two, he tried to bring Tun into the battle although Tun did not take the bite. But the oddest of all is the speed at which the task force was formed and the immediate announcement from the AG. Dont it look weird to you?
Dont be surprised tha WSJ Dow Jones will come out with a profound apology that they have been fooled by fake documents.
And Najib will come out smelling roses. Who will now believe your 1MDB detractiors, Syed.
The jigsaw seem a fit a bit too well to be accidental. Remember, US need a trusted friend to sign the TPPA. And to support their military interests inthis region.

Zeti, like her father, is clearly a survivor. The popular word to describe her, I believe, is 'lalang' - someone with the ability to bend with the wind.
Ungku Aziz survived for years in MU because he didn't really stand for anything, he held no principles that could not be deftly tweaked according to the political flavor of the day.
This grand heist in which his faithful daughter was, at best, a passive onlooker if not a not-very-reluctant facilitator, has proved that she can be relied on to perpetuate the family tradition ...to serve oneself first..at any cost.
So yes. all four are tarnished. While the reputations of the first three are enough to condemn them as unworthy to lead any inquiry, Zeti's non-action and silence prove that she is just another UMNO appointee whose first and last allegiance is to her benefactors.

How come the rakyat only see this TASK FORCE in action after the expose by WSJ? Is it to investigate the crime and prosecute the criminal or to cover-up the crime and protect the criminal?
What are the terms of reference for this TASK FORCE?
It is hard to believe that all these cash transactions in and out of the country were not detected by Bank Negara.

How did she deal with exceptional reporting arising from those unusual transactions?
Kasi chop "NFA" ?
Has this so-called Task Force issued any show cause letter to this Tan Sri Zeti by now ?

The answer to all those questions are YES. Another point to note is that why would anyone wants to close their account at a bank if not because of the need to hide something? I had an account in Ambank since late 90s but did not bother about that account since it was not active.By now i think the bank would have closed the account for me.

In North Korea. they have people's economy and so called royal court's economy. Royal court's economy siphons funds from people's economy to maintain the regime through gifts policy - expensive gifts, cushy jobs, good housings etc.
In Saudi. a special department within the government to cater for Saud Family members' needs. Vacations, medical treatments in Germany. wedding expenditures etc. This department has unlimited budget.
I guess the equivalent in Malaysia is UMNO economy to support umno leaders.
umno tidak lagi sinonim dengan perjuangan orang melayu. Lebih kepada perjuangan orang umno.

KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak mengingatkan rakyat agar tidak terpengaruh cerita karut di media sosial berhubung dengan isu yang melanda dirinya dan yakin bahawa kebenaran akan terserlah juga akhirnya.
"Yang lain tu karut, mengarut, jangan dengar cerita.
"Banyak sangat karut-mengarut di media sosial; jangan dengar semua itu, bukan semua itu benar.
"Kita akan pastikan kebenaran akan muncul pada akhirnya," kata Najib.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika mengulas dakwaan yang membabitkan dirinya dan 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) yang menimbulkan kontroversi baru-baru ini.
Najib menjelaskan bahawa laporan penuh Ketua Audit Negara akan menjawab segala dakwaan berbangkit berhubung isu itu.
“Kerajaan kita kerajaan yang bersungguh-sungguh untuk rakyat dan saya sebagai perdana menteri sudah tentu saya tidak akan ambil apa-apa yang berhak kepada rakyat,” kata Najib.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika berucap merasmikan program Nur Ramadan 2015 peringkat Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur di Masjid Salahuddin Al Ayyubi, Taman Melati, di sini, malam Khamis.
Tambahnya, beliau tidak akan membuat sebarang pengumuman mengenai dakwaan terhadapnya dan membiarkan Ketua Audit Negara Tan Sri Ambrin Buang sendiri melaporkan perkara itu.
