He tries to make me laugh from the very start.
There’s this scene where I give Kisumai a glare and then sit down on a chair but… so I did my glare and then was going to sit down, but Yodogawa was sitting there already.
So I ad libbed, I grabbed Yodogawa and threw him towards the wings.
And then I gave another glare to Kisumai and was going to sit, but Yodogawa had dashed back and was sitting there already… (laughs).
He really changed during this play.
It’s like, whatever it was that he was suppressing finally spilled out.
I said this to them already, “Listen guys. You’re making a mistake about where to pour in your efforts.”
And then the response I got back was “Eh, but this is my job. Nishikiori-san said so too.” (laughs)
But it’s apparently true.
Apparently Nishikiori-san instructed them, “Make Uchi laugh,” and at the end, Nishikiori-san complimented me saying “Well endured.” (laughs)
