i lansung tak singgah restoran mawar ni.. tp my kids and their nenek makan berkali2 la lunch kat sini sementara depa bergerak ke oxford street etc. rasanya ada sekali tu they all nampak forumner gremlin sekeluarga makan sama time ngan dorang  |

erm.....perhaps kot. kalo kat NY dlm 20-30% kot depends on the amounts! mind u kat restaurants depa ada service charge n vat which the restaurants can claim back frm the government.
but akak mmg mesti bagi tips kalo dine outside. kalo kat cafes tu mmg tak bagi tips ler.

kalau dah lajak nak ke durham tu better pegi and spend a night kat newcastle-upon-tyne...
it's nearer to durham and the factory outlets there are much cheaper than the ones in nottingham.
dari newcastle tu, dah 45 minutes boleh sampai ediburgh, scotland.
*durham is beautiful and the cathedral is where they shoot cerita harry potter (scene kat sekolah dia tu).

this is my suggestion:
kalau dah betul2 nak ke durham tu better naik ferry dari amsterdam ke newcastle.
the trip starts at 5pm dari amsterdam and reach newcastle the next morning at 9 am.
you dah boleh save on accommodation dalam ferry tu dah.
the ticket covers tranportation (ferry) and a double bunk bed for EU65 (2 pax - ni kalau bukan promo rate. kalau promo rate, it's cheaper).
turun je dari ferry kat newcastle tu dah ada factory outlets. boleh dah start shopping
dari newcastle boleh ke durham. it's only 30 minutes...
then you can go down to york pastu nottingham or you can go up to edinburgh then naik ke aberdeen di scotland.
kalau dari nottingham nak ke durham tu jauh jugak about 3 hours drive...
*ni my suggestion la... i think you all mesti tak nak lepaskan peluang nak tengok as many countries you can, kan?
i really think you all would like edinburgh.
kak min and i memang dah fall in love dengan edinburgh tu... kan, kak min? ;) |
