duckies problematic attitude aside,
I am loathing duck cosmetic ad campaign and their latest advertisement.
For Vivy to be preaching "supporting local" "local shouldn't be cheap" "for Malaysian women on the go" bla bla bla .....
I find it really hypocrite for them to use (mostly)WHITE and Eurasian models. WHERE IS THE DIVERSITY? be it in Duck cosmetics or FV, everything is white there and if you are not, baby they will make you one lol. I notice there is one Indian girl( i think she's a mix? ) in the ad video and oh boyyy she looks white lol.
Duck scarves save their ass because D is an animated character. lol
Look at Fenty Beauty, people of colour are celebrating the makeup line because of its diversity. Even Kylie Cosmetics and KKW are getting a toll of it because they used to make one dark shade and assume people of colour can wear it.
Apparently, if you are fair, there are 20 shades for you but if you are on the darker side. Good luck finding your suitable shade. Oh well 50+ yrs of independence and most Malaysians still have a colonial mind- white is pretty, white means smart, white is insert positive thing.....lol
sorry for the rant but I am just annoyed by this. Malay girls are beautiful, look at qi razali's gf, she is so exotic with a beautiful skin tone. We have beautiful girls with Malay features but we don't celebrate them.

suprisingly LE masih ade kt website. dah bermula era kejatuhan duck ke ni uols?
jatuh belum kot tp lebih kpd anak2 itik x cukup duit. baru 2 minggu sblm tu diaorg belasah beli merdeka duck tetiba kuar yummy duck pulak..
semua sekali ada 7 jenis, mau hbs 2100 kalau beli semua uols!!
