Perfume will be appearing on TBS's variety programme "Himitsu no Arashi-chan!" on July 22.
Aside from a talk segment on the VIP ROOM corner, an Arashi vs Perfume dance battle set to the Perfume "Chocolate Disco" is said to be part of the trio's appearance on the programme.
Perfume's new single, "VOICE" comes out on August 11.
Uehara Takako and Rain were reported to be on the set of a concert stage scene for the KBS2 drama Fugitive, on the evening of July 17th.
Remember that in her role as Kieko, she plays a famous japanese pop idol. It seems like they filmed a scene of Kieko's live concert.
And as some of you have already guessed, it's been confirmed that her father, a well-known business man... is a powerful Yakuza.
The filming took place after one of Rain’s concerts in Japan, and a day after SPEED’s concert, so they both must have been extremely exhausted.

A new AKB48 romance rumor has surfaced, involving top member Yuko Oshima (21) and WaT's Eiji Wentz (24). Sports Hochi claims that the two have been dating since a few months ago.
Sources say that Oshima and Wentz met when they both appeared in the TV Asahi drama series "Angel Bank ~ Tenshoku Dairinin," which aired this past winter. After that, Wentz has reportedly visited AKB48's Akihabara theater to watch Oshima perform, and he even attended the group's concert at Yoyogi National Gymnasium earlier this month. The two are said to have a lot in common, such as starting in show business at a very young age and enjoying soccer.
Their agencies have acknowledged that Oshima and Wentz are acquaintances but denied that there is any romance between the two stars.
Yamada Yu talked about her boyfriend, Oguri Shun on the September issue of fashion magazine “GINGER“.
Yu and Shun co-stared in the drama “Binbo Danshi” in 2008, and started their relationship.
Yu said, “When I see him challenging something new and being absorbed in it, it makes me highly motivated too. He is, so to say, that kind of person to me.”
The interviewer asked her if she considered getting married, Yu said, “Of course!”

Ninomiya Kazunari, Matsuyama Kenichi to hold a special interview for movie GANTZ
A special production interview for the movie “GANTZ” starring Nimoniya Kazunari and Matsuyama Kenichi has been scheduled for August 5th. Ninomiya Kazunari, Matsuyama Kenichi, Yoshitaka Yuriko, Hongou Kanata, Natsuna and Yamada Takayuki are expected to make an appearance for the interview.
They’ve also announced that the interview will be open to public via a live broadcast online and through the invitation of 700 fans at Hibiya Yagai Ongakudou. Fans are able to register on the official website until July 27th and there will be a contest where 700 random registered members will be rewarded with a special invitation for an entry pass to attend the public viewing of the interview in person.
The first part of the movie GANTZ is expected to be released in early 2011 and estimated production costs are approximately 4 billion yen (approximately 45 million in USD).
Anime “Kuroshitsuji II” characters appear in CM for the GazettE
Characters of popular anime, “Kuroshitsuji II (black butler)” will make an appearance in the CM for the GazettE’s new single “SHIVER“. The CM will air just one time starting in Nagoya (7/21), Osaka (7/22), Tokyo (7/23), and in other areas of Japan.
At the end of July Production IG, a major animation company in Japan, held a special event to debut their new film “Loups-Garous.” Attendees were given quite a surprise as it was announced that the main theme for the movie would be by girl rock group SCANDAL and that the band was in attendance at the event.
The girl band rocked the stage at the event and announced that they will be helping with some other promotional showings of the film. Tickets will go on sale for these on July 24th. Regular release of the film will be on August 28th nationwide. To further mix in SCANDAL with the film release, the band will be releasing a special DVD/blu-ray the day before the film hits theaters. It will be called “Loups-Garous #Overture” and will feature a chorus audition video. It will be made in extremely limited quantities so reservations are being taken on the sale of the DVDs and blu-rays.
SCANDAL will be providing multiple songs for the Loups-Garous movie, an opening and ending theme and also a song for the middle of the film. Not only that, but the girl group will also be animated into the film through motion capture and will even have dialogue.
The first event with the band will be held on July 29th in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Guests for the screening will be SCANDAL, the original book’s author, and the director of the film.
The list of artists and singers scheduled to perform on the July 25th edition “MUSIC JAPAN” (NHK) has been released. This week, Umika as Yamako (Kawashima Umika), GACKT, No Sleeves (AKB48), FUNKY MONKEY BABYS, and WaT will be performing on the show.
One of the members of idol group 9nine, Kawashima Umika is using the name “Umika as Yamako” to perform a song titled “Maji de Koi suru 5 byoumae” which is an ending theme for her movie “Watashi no Yasashikunai Senpai.” The name “Yamako” was taken from the name of her act in the movie.
Also GACKT will be performing his new single “EVER,” which will be released on July 28th. This will be the first time GACKT will perform this song on TV.

Rock band the GazettE just kicked off their new tour on Thursday with a concert at the Nippon Budokan. During the end of the show, they announced that they will play their first Tokyo Dome concert on December 26.
The band's current tour will run until August 31, but will resume with a second leg from October 1 until November 2. The Tokyo Dome show will be the tour finale.
Actress and singer, Ayase Haruka has announced the release of her 4th singles album titled “Margaret” on August 11th. Haruka debuted as a singer in March 2006 with a song titled “Period” and it’s been two years and seven month since the release of her last single “Hikoukigumo.”
Haruka’s new song “Margaret” is composed by Matsutouya Yumi aka Arai Yumi, whom composed a number of popular hit songs in the 80s and 90s while the lyrics are written by Matsumoto Takeshi. Haruka had an opportunity to be a part of “Akai Sweet Pea” from Matsumoto Takeshi’s 40-year anniversary album “Matsumoto Takeshi ni Sasagu – Kazemachi DNA” and this was the trigger that eventually lead to starting on the new single “Margaret.”
Haruka is currently in a popular NTV drama titled “Hotaru no Hikari 2″ as Hotaru Amemiya, who is considered a “himono onna” (dried-fish woman). This is an expression used in the drama Hotaru No Hikari to describe the main character, a woman in her 20s who has renounced the pursuit of romance. She spends her evenings reading manga and drinking at home alone, and she spends her weekends lazing around in bed.
