Latihan pendaratan amfibi Korps Marinir ini melibatkan: Prajurit Infanteri, Kavaleri, Artileri serta Bantuan tempur dari jajaran Pasmar 2 yang tergabung dalam Pasukan pendarat.

Latihan Bersama (Latma) antara Batalyon Intai Amfibi Korps Marinir Indonesia dengan United States Marine Corps (USMC) Reconnaissance Unit, digelar dengan Sandi Recon Exercise 21-I, di Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, AS.
Latihan yang dilaksanakan dari tanggal 1 sampai dengan 16 September 2021, ini untuk meningkatkan interoperabilitas dari kemampuan prajurit Batalyon Intai Amfibi Korps Marinir dengan United States Marine Corps (USMC) Reconnaissance Unit.

Kapal Selam KRI Cakra TNI AL Lakukan Uji Laut Usai Overhaul
Alutsista Kapal selam KRI Cakra 401 mulai melakukan uji kemampuan laut Sea Acceptance Test (SAT) di Laut Jawa, setelah sebelumnya menyelesaikan perbaikan overhaul untuk mengembalikan kinerja kapal selam ini ke kondisi sedia kala.
Di tengah kendala peralatan dan tenaga ahli yang muncul akibat pandemi Covid-19, perbaikan kapal selam TNI AL ini tetap berjalan dan sukses, ungkap laman PT PAL Indonesia, 14 September 2021.
Untuk melakukan Sea Acceptance Test itu, kapal selam ini diberangkatkan dari dermaga PT PAL Indonesia (Persero), Surabaya, Jawa Timur.
Kapal selam KRI Cakra – 401 buatan Jerman ini yang telah dioperasikan sejak 40 tahun lalu dan merupakan pengganti dari KRI Tjakra yang didatangkan dari Uni Soviet pada 12 September 1959.

UK wins Indonesian export contract for new frigates Arrowhead 140
DSEI 2021- Babcock has secured the first export contract for its Arrowhead 140 frigate through a design licence agreement with PT PAL Indonesia, a state-owned enterprise that builds and maintains ships for military and commercial use from its facilities in Surabaya, Indonesia.
The UK is using a similar design, basing its Type 31 Frigates on the Arrowhead 140 design, being built by Babcock at Rosyth.
Babcock say in a news release that the breakthrough deal comes two years since Babcock’s AH140 design was first announced as the preferred bidder for the UK Type 31 frigate programme at DSEI 2019, with the contract confirmed in November of the same year.

“The design licence will enable PAL to build two Arrowhead 140 frigates in Indonesia with bespoke design modifications for the Indonesian Navy. The agreement was signed at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2021 event in London, on board HMS Argyll, by David Lockwood CEO Babcock and Kaharuddin Djenod, CEO PAL. And was witnessed by the Defence Minister of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto and UK Defence Secretary, Rt Hon Ben Wallace MP.
Babcock has been working alongside the UK Government to promote the Arrowhead 140 Frigate into the global market with strong interest internationally. The company recently announced that it was one of the bidders down selected by the Polish Government to provide a potential design solution for the Polish Navy’s Miecznik (Swordfish) frigate programme.”
The firm say that the baseline Arrowhead 140 design can be configured to meet a broad range of naval requirements and, with Babcock’s support PAL will now engineer the required modifications to configure the Arrowhead 140 for the Indonesian customer.

The Arrowhead 140 frigate design, benefits from a proven hull-form that has been tried and tested in real-world operational environments from NATO and coalition task forces to national regional and deployed operations. The baseline Arrowhead 140 design can be configured to meet a broad range of operational requirements and profiles a global frigate may be called upon to undertake and adopt and with a growing number of users it can also support interoperability between naval allies.

Aerospace, defense and security company Babcock said it has secured the first export contract for its Arrowhead 140 (AH140) frigate through a design license agreement with PT PAL Indonesia (Persero), a state-owned enterprise that builds and maintains ships for military and commercial use from its facilities in Surabaya, Indonesia.

On the same occasion, Kaharuddin Djenod is optimistic that with the launch of Maritime Industry Transformation 4.0, PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) will be able to increase production capabilities from initially only able to launch 1 frigate class ship in 1 year to 3 frigate class ships in 1 year in parallel.

PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) menandatangani Licence Agreement dengan Rosyth Royal Dockyard Ltd (Babcock) sebagai Penyedia Desain Arrowhead 140 untuk Pengadaan 2 (dua) unit Kapal Frigate Kementerian Pertahanan RI pada 16 September 2021. Penandatanganan dilaksanakan oleh CEO PT PAL Indonesia (Persero), Bapak Kaharuddin Djenod dan CEO Rosyth Royal Dockyard Ltd MR. David Lockwood dan disaksikan oleh Menteri Pertahanan RI, Bapak Prabowo Subianto di London, Inggris.
PAL memilih Babcock sebagai penyedia desain Kapal Frigate setelah sebelumnya mempertimbangkan portofolio dan track record Babcock sebagai penyedia naval technology yang modern. Adapun sebelumnya PAL dan Babcock telah melaksanakan penandatanganan Confidentiality Agreement pada tanggal 30 Januari 2021. Selanjutnya kedua belah pihak melaksanakan pembahasan secara rinci terkait dengan rencana kerjasama dan lingkup pekerjaan masing-masing.
Kapal ini akan mengusung Main Engine dengan spesifikasi 4 x 9100 kW. Pasokan tenaga tersebut mampu memacu kapal dengan maximum speed sampai dengan 28 knot dengan kondisi MCR (full boad)., Endurance pada 18 knot sebesar 9.000 NM. Kapal Frigate nantinya juga akan dilengkapi dengan Diesel Generator 4×1360 kW dan emergency D/G 1X180 kW. Untuk kemudahan manuver, kapal ini dilengkapi dengan Bow Thruster sebesar 925 kW.
Renacananya, pembangunan Kapal Frigate akan dikerjakan dalam kurun waktu 69 bulan. Kapal frigate juga akan dilengkapi dengan rudal sebagai bentuk sistem pertahanan udara, spesifikasinya yakni peluncur rudal vertikal jarak sedang (Vertical launcher missile surface to air medium range) 3×8 cells, peluncur rudal vertikal ke udara dengan jarak jauh (Vertical launcher Missile Suraface to Air Long range) 4×8 cells, dan peluncur rudal vertikal ke permukaan dengan jarak jauh (Vertical launcher missile surface to surface long range) 2×8 cells yang mana akan dilakukan proses pemasangan dengan sistem Fit For But Not With (FFBNW).
Dengan ditandatanganinya Licence Agreement antara PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) dan Rosyth Royal Dockyard Ltd (Babcock) sebagai Penyedia Desain, menambah kesiapan PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) pada tahapan pengerjaan 2 (dua) unit Kapal Frigate sehingga kedepannya dapat menambah prestasi dalam negeri pada kemandirian produksi Alutsista untuk Indonesia.

Perusahaan pembuat kapal milik pemerintah Indonesia PT PAL menargetkan pembuatan dua kapal frigate Arrowhead-140 akan rampung pada 2026 mendatang.
Indonesia sebelumnya membeli lisensi desain kapal frigate Arrowhead-140 dari Inggris.
Kesepakatan pembelian itu diresmikan melalui penandatanganan kerja sama antara PT PAL dengan perusahaan Inggris Babcock yang disaksikan Menteri Pertahanan Prabowo Subianto dan Menteri Pertahanan Inggris Hon Ben Wallace di London.
Kepala Departemen Hubungan Masyarakat PT PAL Utario Esna Putra mengatakan proses pembuatan kapal sudah dimulai sejak Mei lalu dan akan rampung pada 2026 jika tidak ada pengembangan kontrak ataupun penambahan spesifikasi kapal.
"Rencananya, pembangunan Kapal Frigate akan dikerjakan dalam kurun waktu 69 bulan," jelas Utario kepada Anadolu Agency melalui pesan singkat pada Selasa.
Utario menambahkan kapal ini akan mengusung mesin utama dengan spesifikasi 4 x 9100 kW.
Dengan pasokan tenaga tersebut mampu memacu kapal dengan kecepatan maksimal hingga 28 knot.
Kapal Frigate nantinya juga akan dilengkapi dengan Diesel Generator 4x1360 kW dan emergency D/G 1X180 kW.

"Untuk sekarang masih belum bisa diumumkan penyedia tersebut," kata dia.

The Indonesian Aerospace (IAe) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HAVELSAN from Turkey to develop flight simulator for Indonesian made N219 Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) turboprop passenger aircraft.
The development of the flight simulator involved Avionic and System Modeling, Flight and Engine Modeling, as well as Computer System and Interface.
Turkey is a major operator of CN-235 transport aircraft having using these European-Indonesian tactical transport aircraft for maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) and transport duties.
The IAe is now promoting its CN235 NextG as well as the N219 in Turkey.
PTDI dan Turkish Aerospace jalin kerja sama terkait N219, CN235, dan N245
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) dengan Turkish Aerospace dari Turki menandatangani nota kesepahaman (MoU) Industrial Collaboration Agreement di pameran Teknofest 2021 di Istanbul, Turki pada 21 September 2021.
Penandatanganan MoU dilakukan oleh Direktur Utama PTDI Eflien Goentoro dan Presiden/CEO Turkish Aerospace Temel Kotil.
Poin-poin dalam kerja sama tersebut adalah N219 Production Extension di Bandung, Modernization and Life Extension of Turkish CN235 fleet, Engineering Support of Turkish Aerospace’s Development Project, dan N245 Joint Development and Production.
Penandatanganan MoU disaksikan oleh Wakil Ketua DPR RI yang juga Koordinator Bidang Industri dan Pembangunan (Korinbang) Rachmad Gobel serta Duta Besar Republik Indonesia untuk Turki Lalu Muhamad Iqbal.
PTDI dalam siaran persnya menyatakan, penandatanganan MoU ini dalam rangka meningkatkan dan memperkuat hubungan kerja sama yang telah terjalin antara PTDI dan Turkish Aerospace. Khususnya dalam hal pesawat N219 dan modernisasi pesawat CN235 Turki.
Disebutkan, kerja sama PTDI dengan perusahaan dari Turki telah terjalin sejak lama.
Pada tahun 2000 PTDI bekerja sama dengan Aselsan dari Turki untuk instalasi signal intelligence dan intelligent communication systems pada pesawat CN235 Turkish Air Force.
Pada 2003, PTDI bekerja sama dengan Thales dari Perancis untuk program Meltem II yang melibatkan Turkish Aerospace dalam melakukan engineering design, aircraft modification, dan flight test untuk sembilan unit pesawat CN235-100 milik Turkish Naval Forces dan Turkish Coast Guard.
Dalam ajang Internasional Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival 2021 PTDI mempromosikan pesawat CN235-220 dan pesawat N219.
Keikutsertaan PTDI dalam acara ini dalam upaya perluasan pemasaran, kerja sama, dan peningkatan penjualan berbagai produk dan jasa yang dihasilkan selama ini, khususnya pesawat CN235-220 dan N219.
