Yup, kt Saberkas. Jammed klu petang2 sana. Tp fav place my mum untuk pisang ngan ulam-ulaman. Ikan bakar sedap sana, byk choices. Pulut panggang, apam balik, tongkeng ayam (fav my niece n nephew) and byk lagi la. My hubby suka ikan bakar

ada few kuih yg menjelma kt kepala, tp xingat nama pelupa ckit makin senja nie Tabaloi kering, klu yg ckit kelapa n pucat je warna dia tu, mmg xsedap. Yg they all jual kt airport tu, mmg xsedap, tuk komersiol punya, tp klu yg real dari dapur tradisional dia, sedaplah jugak.

semalam try buat mee kolok..
resepi ni aku amik dari fp che de sam...

MEE KOLOK

Bahan2
Mee sanggul or mee halus warna kuning yg segera tu pun boleh
Minyak bawang putih
daun bawang
kicap cair
kicap pekat
bawang goreng
garam
aji (ikut suka)
daging rebus,sup daging
taugeh

Cara2

1.Rebus mee dan toskan air.
2.Gaul kicap cair,kicap pekat,daun bawang,minyak bawang putih,garam dan aji di dlm mangkuk besar dan rasakan.
3.Celurkan mee ke dlm sup sekejap dan gaulkan dgn bahan diatas di dlm mangkuk yg sama.Jgn biarkan mee tu terlalu basah ok...
4. Last kita hias dgn taugeh,daging rebus dan bwg goreng.
5. Mee kolok sedap dimakan dgn sup daging or sup tulang dan dgn kicap cili api.

Nota: minyak bawang putih tu kita buat sendiri pun boleh....cara2nya - kupas dan hiris nipis bbp ulas bawang putih. panaskan sedikit minyak dan goreng bawang putih sampai kekuningan dan tutupkan api. Tuangkan minyak kedalam bwg putih goreng dan biarkan beberapa jam sehingga minyak tu ada bau bawang putih.

hello ladies...kamek org miri juak..n nang melepak di miri juak

sik lamak lagik bulan posa nie..mmg banyak makanan tempatan keluar..macam bubur pedas..nie mmg kalau bulan posa baru kick makan...heeheh

anyway..how bout LINUT or dikenali juga dgn AMBUYAT? ada pernah mencuba..besst..makan ngan sambal belacan , kari ayam ka , asam pedas kah..kalau kuah semakin pedas semakin kick..lamak sik makan, sik ada geng

lamak juak sik merasa....sikda linut original:kant:.  tepung ubi sik brapa nyaman..kamek sitok, mun terasa mok makan juak, anak sulong boleh jadik gang but lately nya sik brapa minat..

bulan posa.. anok paling best..terubok bakar and umei anok ada asam gerubi..another thing...kulat laut.  Sitok nang sik penah jumpa kulat laut...

wah.. umai is the best, tapi ikan mesti fresh kalau tak, tak brapa sedap..
di miri, my cousin ada restoran mi kolok juak.. for me, diorang punya mi kolok je yang sedap.. saya orang brunei, tapi ada family belah bapa orang kuching.. so memang dah terbiasa makan umai, bubur pedas etc.

tengok cara orang buat linut kat rumah kawan di kuching masa jalan2 makan angin tahun sudah.  husband kwan tu buatkan.  makan ngan kuah laksa sarawak... tambah cili banyk2.  wah... mmg lebih pedas lebih sedap.

My Special Umei Recipe..

Hi all...
aku nak kongsi ngan korg aku nyer favourite food in the whole wide world...
Umei...i'm a big umei fan..

aku lam seminggu...mesti makan benda ni...maybe 3 times...perweek...

anyway...
ni standard traditional recipe..

the ingredients...
fish..
lime..
garam secukup rasa...
bawang besar..
halia...
chilli...

Caranya...
amik ikan...
then...potong2 dier..amik isi dier..
potong halia...nipis halus
potong bawang besar...slice it..
then...chilly tu...tumbok..sampai lumat..
squeeze...6 or 7 lime...
camporkan semua...then..letak garam secukup rasa..

gaul sampai...klu ikan tu jadi puteh..
disebabkan oleh lime tu..dier dah fully absorbed masok lam...ikan tu..
and it destroy the parasites as well as the enzyme..
the lime taste will overwhelmed the fish.....and jadi pejal... i don't like that..

so..aku nyer..style...i want balance..of taste..
1.fatty
2.fishy
3.limey

i want the fish taste..but i usually wants to eat the fish to be fatty...and then...rasa limau sikit..
but since...ikan biasa ni...tak macam..salmon..no fat
so i'm going to improvised!

this is my version...more delicious...and kene modified..
aku suka preserve ..the enzyme...

The Ingredients...
Separatekan..sebab klu nak preserve enzyme...jangan campor gaul terus ..ngan lime..

kita perlu main cecah..

Bahan A
Lime and Chilli
Garam sikit

Bahan B
ikan
bawang besar
Grape Seed Oil

Bahan A..
Potong Chilli..then Squeeze some lime..masokkan garam sikit..

Bahan B..
Potong ikan halus2..
Slicekan Bawang besar..
then...drizzle it with grape seed oil..biar rasa berlemak..
grape seed oil ni...it's odourless...and...it has 50 times vitamin E and 20 times vitamin C..

Cara makan....
korg main cecah...jerk..

the enzyme...the originality of the taste of the fish..is preserve..
and rasa berlemak macam salmon...sebab oil tu..
the lime will not overwhelmed the fish..it will taste just right..
and ..ikan tu tak bleach..and tak pejal..

Tips:
klu ikan tu byk darah..
potong halus dulu..
then rendamkan hasil yg dipotong tu lam air..
