KinKi Kids will guest star in the regularly broadcast TV program 'SMAP×SMAP' hosted, of course, by the SMAP members. The duo will appear in the segment titled 'Bistro SMAP', where the SMAP members become chefs and serve food to the guests. Before their debut KinKi Kids had performed as backing dancers for SMAP.
Among the Johnny's members KinKi Kids consider the SMAP members their closest 'big brothers'. At the beginning of the show Nakai Masahiro jokingly greeted the two very courteously. "We are honored to have you as guests in our program today." Domoto Koichi and Tsuyoshi were visibly embarrassed and quickly responded to Nakai's joke. "lease don't address us so formally!" "We learned a lot from you." Since they've known each other for a long time they talked about a plethora of shared memories. One of the incidents they reminisced fondly about had taken place over 15 years ago. As part of a game Katori Shingo, Tsuyoshi and Koichi had filmed a Jackie Chan-like action sequence. Katori had been the director and lead actor, Tsuyoshi a supporting actor and Koichi the cameraman.
In the spirit of Arashi Week, here's the latest announcement.
I just finished watching today's Shukudai-kun about 10 minutes ago, and to my surprise it was followed by an "Important Announcement". Since we all know that media announcements make it seem as if this is the first time they're saying it, I wasn't sure if it had been mentioned before.
The gist of it was that to commemorate their anniversary, Arashi will give away 5000 hand-signed signatures. They started doing these sign boards last year after their concert in Korea, and each will include the signatures of all five members plus a special logo designed by Ohno and a number at the bottom (from 1 to 5000) to tell you that it's a really, really limited edition.
Recipients will be selected by lottery from the fanclub. But the ONLY instruction they gave was that further instructions will be given during Odoroki no Arashi.
