Although Arsene Wenger wants Ashley Cole to stay at Arsenal Football Club, he admits it is not quite as simple as that.
The England star caused a storm on Saturday with quotes published in The Sun from his forthcoming book slating the Gunners for failing to back him over the tapping up incident with Chelsea last year.
This latest episode has once again cast doubts over his future with the Blues and Real Madrid interested, and although Wenger wants him to stay, it is not as cut and dried as that.
"He has two years on his contract at Arsenal and unless we sell him he has a future at Arsenal. I want him to stay, but there are three parties to have to want that, |

Arsene Wenger has killed off all rumours that Arsenal are set to sign Argentine Javier Saviola.
His statement proves that the rumours were just that, saying,
"We are not interested in Saviola at all," Wenger said.
