I. Serendipity and Casablanca
Katrina was having a baaad week. She kept bumping into her sister's ex -- the classroom, the courthouse ...and what's worse he was hitting on her. She decided to go the videostore that night, she wanted the classic Casablanca so bad. She asked the clerk where Casablanca was. The clerk then said they only have one copy left and then he pointed to the man comfortably standing by the racks of VCDs. Katrina approached the man, she noticed he was holding on to two VCDs. She tapped him on his shoulder. The man was quickly distracted and he faced her. To her surprise (or disgust...it looked like a mix of the two) it was him, the glasses, the sleek gelled up hair and the ridiculously
expensive suit.
"Kailangan mo ba 'yan? Yung Casablanca? Kasi yan na lang ang last copy,e. Kaya...I was wondering..." She asked.
Yuri smiled and looked at the two VCDs.
"Actually, medyo confused ako if I should go for comedy or classic romantic movie for tonight. I've seen Casablanca about three times. I think I'll go with this one." He said as he lifted the Casablanca VCD.
Kat glared at him. "Bakit nakaka-appreciate ka ba niyan? Mga katulad mong insensitive na machong attorney?" She then went on with a speech how a demonyo like Yuri does not deserve the Casablanca VCD.
Yuri then looked at her intently, his face was serious. "I cried...I cried the first time I watched this film." he said dramatically holding it up to her face.
A young woman suddenly interrupted them. She was Yuri's date, probably one of his victims. The date offered to pay for the VCD. Yuri then gave her the VCDs and he told her that he knows what he's getting, he walked to the next rack to probably pick another VCD.
The date/victim talked to Kat. "Friends ba kayo ni Yuri?" she asked.
Kat had a slight sinister look on her face "Uhh...oo. Classmates kami sa college.We're close sa law school. Actually sabi niya he'll buy it na. Alam ko kung ano yung pinili niya. Gusto mo sabay na tayong mag check out?" The girl agreed. Well with Kat's cunning ways, she got the Casablanca VCD.
Yuri then ran to the counter, looking confused. "Hindi ito ang gusto ko." He told his date. "Yun yung sabi ng friend mo ang bait nga niya." his date answered pointing to Kat who was already at the exit.
Kat playfully waved the VCD at Yuri's direction as she left. Yuri stood there shaking his head, a smirk forming on his face.

Shaina reveals her new self
At the start of 2008, new things and resolutions are very popular and that is what exactly what Shaina Magdayao has decided to do: reinvention.
The actress who just turned 18 last year has resolved to shed her old clothes off and show some skin, literally. Yes, the teenybopper star is no more, as the younger sister of Vina Morales will be a little bolder this year. After all, she is already a lady.
Her new image will be first seen when she graces the cover page of a men's magazine which will be available in new stands soon. When Shaina did the pictorial for the magazine, it was deemed "sensual" and it is her bid to saying goodbye to tweetums roles.
"The management (of ABS-CBN Star Magic) wanted to see a new Shaina in 2008," she disclosed.
She also shared that her changed image is also necessary for her role in the upcoming teleserye starring Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin, "Lobo."
Shaina will play a woman who has her eyes on Piolo. The young star also said that her role is more mature.
"Am 18 years old lang pero yung role ko 23 years old, iba talaga."
There are limitations though and even if she is making a big move, Shaina made it clear that she is not going "all the way."
"Hindi ko talaga kayang mag-bare ng buong katawan ko, but for a fashion shoot it is OK with me," she explained.
She is also hopeful that her fans will support her "transformation."

Shaina denies she has a boyfriend
She admitted that she has her whole family抯 blessing to have a boyfriend, but young actress Shaina Magdayao clarified that there is no man in her life right now. This is despite the persisting issues saying she has dumped onscreen partner Rayver Cruz and is already in a relationship with John Prats.
Shaina clarified that despite finally being allowed by her family to be courted by guys, she has no one in her life right now.

harap2 marissa pun boleh tgk lah. dulu marissa set alarm mesti boleh bangun tgk tv tapi skrg .... bukan main susah lagi. at least kalu hari coti esok nya boleh lah plan nak tgk. |
