Muhammad was poor... then got lucky when he married the wealty Khatijah... After Khatijah died, he wasted her wealth preety fast... When he finished spending or giving away Katijahs money... he started robbing the Jews... taking 1/5 of the booties...
His stollen booties don't last long... easy come easy go...
He imposed tax on his people... muslim... zakat and junk... and he imposed protection tax... jizra on non-muslims... still thats not enough...
Lets face it Muhammad lived on peoples money... he don't know how to earn it... he took from people... and spend it lavishly... giving sedekah and junk... he died poor.
Its takes a lot of money to support even one wife... Muhammad had numerous wifes... 13 or something like that... he definately would have died poor...  |

Actually Kosher is stricter than Halal rule. But Muslims are allowed to eat all Kosher foods, but Jews can't eat all Halal food. Jews cant eat camels!
I'm fond of eating veggies, sometime I eat meat like fish, chicken, seafood. I dont really fond of eating beef, mutton or lamb! I dont like the taste. I could only enjoy eating beefburgers and bolognaise sauce. If the beef is cooked in other ways - I'm not into it!:cf: |

If one were to justify health reasons for halal guidelines to eating, then allah is hardly divine in his guidance becos there are so many seafood that is much more toxic than pork that is halal. Besides, all meat, whether beef, pork or mutton contains bacteria and toxins. Where is the divine line and what is the logic behind not eating pork while eating beef & mutton? |

There is no reason for prohibition of pork - Allah said 'No' so you cant eat it... just that!
Furthermore - the Hanafis (which constitutes majority of Sunni Muslims) - prohibited the seafood excluding fish! |

The Prophet didn't depend on others for his living & to support his family incl. his wives. He can if he really wanted too but he didn't & instead worked to support his family. If he hadn't taught good values abt life & the true teachings of Islam, there won't be any GOLDEN ERA OF ISLAM.

since yu claim that there were less toxins in the sea hundreds or thousands of years ago and allah allowed seafood then, that means allahs words cannot be apllicable today becayse pork contains less toxins than hundreds of years ago because of advanced rearing techniques and seafood in fact contains more toxins than pork today. |

Seafood contains great amounts of toxins regardless of whether it was hundreds or thousands of years ago. Fishes without gills are simply filters of nature that will retain mercury and other toxins within their bodies. On the other hand, fishes with gills do not and are still edible even if yu have higher levels of toxins.
So you see, halal guidelines has therefore no meaning when examined under teh light of science when it comes to healthy living. |
