A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child

Returning is Lisa Wilcox as Alice, who is about to graduate with boyfriend Dan (Danny Hassel, also returning). As the film opens, Alice finds herself relieving some of the events that led to Freddy's birth, including the accidental trapping, and then rape, of Freddy's nun mother. Freddy himself, thought killed, has somehow resurfaced in the dreams of Alice's unborn child, and plans to be "reborn" in the place of Alice's baby.

John Doe, a teen suffering from amnesia, doesn't know that he is the last of the Elm Street children. Having escaped the town, John is now under the care of therapist Maggie (Lisa Zane), who, we come to learn, is actually Freddy's daughter. We also learn that John hadn't escaped, but that Freddy had purposely "sent him out" into the world in order to lure in more victims. Having finished off the last of the Elm Street kids in the 10 years since the events of the previous installment, Freddy is now itching to slay more kids.

The store has its own tainted past: a recent fire resulted in injuries, and the store is just now getting ready to re-open. But when employees start to turn up dead, Yeong-min, who would rather whittle his time getting drunk and feeling sorry for himself, is forced to investigate. He butts heads with Hyeon-su (Myeong-min Kim, "Sorum"), a Detective from his past. As more bodies start to mount, and evidence starts to accumulate, it becomes clear that a ghost is taking over people's bodies using their reflections as a conduit...

verdict: Dah tengok cerita nih tapi masih tak paham storyline...

"A Tale of Two Sisters" tells the story of Su-mi (Im Soo-jung) and Su-yeon (Moon Geun-young), two sisters from a rich family, who go to live with their eccentric stepmother after recovering from an unnamed illness in a mental hospital only to find that their conditions have worsened thanks to an unbalanced parental figure and a pesky ghost. Su-yeon has nightmares about her mother's death and relies on her big sister for emotional protection. The new stepmother dreams of a perfect family and treats her two stepdaughters with both manic affection and frightening frostiness. The father only observes taciturnly and remains isolated. What runs in such a disfunctional family is the otherworldly horror. A ghost crawls behind a clothing trunk, a freakish woman hides under the sink, and a bloody sack containing a corpse leaves a trail of red on the wooden floor. But you never know if these are hallucinations or real happenings. And who is the real ghost? The mother? The step-mother? Or the two sisters?


Verdict: dah tonton cerita nih tapi tak best sangat....

Chiharu mmg obsess gila ngan cerita hantu... tapi yg seram lah.. tak main lah setakat thriller cam psycho stalker ker atau killer yg tak mcm hantu, tapi rupa org...

Mostly Chi obsess ngan cerita pasal zombies... mcm DEAD TRILOGY (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD ORI NGAN REMAKE, DAWN OF THE DEAD, DAY OF THE DEAD, LAND OF THE DEAD, 28 DAYS, SHAUN OF THE DEAD, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD dan byk lagi yg Chi tak leh ingat sbb tgk dari umur 10 tahun lagi (sekarang dah 21)

Pas tu cerita yg involve ngan demons/supernatural cam EVIL DEAD 1,2,3, DEMONS, POLTERGEIST, SUBSPECIES SERIES (SUBSPECIES, BLOODSTONE SUBSPECIES 2 etc) ROSE RED, FRIGHT NIGHT, THE LOST BOYS, STEPHEN KING'S IT, THE EYE, THE EYE 10, THE EXORCIST... etc

Then kalau korean/japanese tu, ok jugak Chi tgk tapi kekadang tu boring giler sampai tertidur bila tgk.. mcm Ringu, Wishing Stairs, Infection, Dark Water, etc byk lagi lah...

Cerita yg thrilling/suspense pun ada yg ok gak even tho tak berapa suka ngt.. mcm NIGHTMARE ON ELM'S STREET SERIES, FRIDAY THE 14TH SERIES etc..

Kalau citer Indon... Chi mmg obsess gila ngan PENGABDI SETAN sbb mmg seram .. walaupun makeup semua tak nampak real tapi still seram giler... pastu Suzanna as Sundel Bolong mcm dlm TELAGA ANGKER, MALAM SATU SURO, SUNDEL BOLONG...then dulu suka cerita yg involve lintah.. dukun mak lintah kot title dia? Tak ingat.. ok jugak lah. Then ada satu SETAN KUBURAN.. cerita ok.. pasal involve pocong (my ultimate fear) tapi ending dia bodoh sgt.

Kalau cerita yg baru2 ni.. tak seram, effect jer yg lebih.. so Chi tak suka..tapi tgk gak, hehe...kalau Chi ingat, Chi buat list utk referance korang :D

Aku nak tambah list cerita hantu atau misteri yg pernah aku tgk dan ingat sampai sekarang..

1. IT - based on Stephen King's novel Cerita ttg hantu yg ditemui sekumpulan kanak2 yg mana hantu ni makan kanak2. Cerita ni panjang sbb sambung sampai mereka dewasa..Tapi ending die aku menyampah sbb hantu tu rupanye bukan clown ttp labah2 yg besar.Tapi cite ni mmg seram dan aku dah tgk 3 kali..

3. Constantine..cite ttg org yg boleh keluar masuk neraka..dan pemburu syaitan dan boleh communicate ngan angel
