depends pada distribution policy:
tgk incidental or annual income.
* incidental implies that the main focus of the fund will be on securing capital growth.
* annual income implies that the fund concerned will distribute income annualy on a best effort basis.
equity funds - incidental
bonds/MM - annual income
(pls check prospectus)

means, kalau incidental tu declares twice... and annual tu, memang once le.
or.... it's actually depends on performance of the fund?
or.... no matter whatever the performance, the distribution will always be twice for interim. macam tu? |

minggu dpn kan kan kan ada satu client tuh umur dia ckup 55 thn. so dah set appointment pd 13/12/07, bwk dia g CIMB redeem sume epf investmnt dia...dlm 150k....5 ari dpt cek....transfer masuk PMutual.
wahai kwn2...utk redeem epf investment bg investor ngam2 55...cara2 nya adalah begini:
CIMB - selepas besday dia genap umur 55, pergi jek ke mana2 cawangan CIMB....dia boleh redeem seperti cash investment....5 ari dpt cek. atau pun boleh direct bank in pd MAYBANK or CIMB bank only. tulis bank account no. pd redeem form..tak perlu salinan passbook or statement of account.
PMUTUAL - kena sertakan surat pelepasan dari EPF mengatakan investor dah mencecah 55 tahun.....submit sekali redeem form. kalau dia mutual gold...2 ari dpt cek..kalau biasa 7 ari. kalau masuk direct bank in...sertakan salinan passbook (savings) or statement of account (current)....PUBLIC BANK or MAYBANK only.
lain2 company...nnti aku update.

Lower unit trust sales charges

PETALING JAYA: Effective next month, sales charges for investment in unit trusts by Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributors are expected to be slashed to not more than 3% from 5% to 6% now.  | Michael Auyeung

A source told StarBiz that the move was expected as the current charges were relatively high compared with other countries, and for the industry to be globally competitive, the upfront sales charges should come down. This would also reduce the cost of investment and improve returns as the current sales charges were eating into unit trust returns, he said, adding that the move, over time, would lower the overall sales charges in the industry. Pacific Mutual Fund Bhd chief executive officer and chief investment officer Michael Auyeung said the move was a positive development for the industry. Lowering sales charges would provide investors a quicker path to garnering returns on their investment, and might encourage many to make regular withdrawals. 揇istributors who earnestly assess what the EPF is trying to do for its contributors will eventually see that this move will benefit everyone, |
