Thanks for the in-depth explaination . No wonder :stp: that scene didn't seem right. I felt cheated of my RM58. Do you know where I can get a copy of the VCDs without any cut scenes?
BTW, do you know which shops sell the best quality VCDs in S&M or Kotaraya? Perhaps you could provide me the name of the shops.
I fast forwarded a lot of scenes coz the drama seemed to drag on and on at one point. I can't stand CJW weepy look though I must say she had great chemistry with LBH. Must she feel sad for everyone?

Hi!
So, the scene was indeed cut from the vcd you bought. My copy had a similar problem too, minus the audio at some parts. What is the name of the company that distributed the vcd? I bought my from Alfa Equity about a year ago.
Err, I can't really help on the whereabouts of vcd shops in S&M as I live in Ipoh, actually. But I know those who can help, for instance Takki, sara & whitedove. Girls, help please ;).
Hmm, I'm still waiting for All In to be aired on free-tv. It's the second time the drama's being aired on cable (previously on Astro's Channel 38, if I'm not mistaken, with Malay subs). Hopefully those without cable will have a chance to watch it, too. How do you like the series, so far? |

Err... I don't know specific shop's name. I think all of them have the same copy for each drama title. You have to look for the company which distributed it, I guessk, to be able to have a decent copy. PMP is quite a big name in K-drama VCD distribution. But i'm not that sure. ;) |

Yup, my copy is also by Alfa Equity.
Regarding All In, I started watching from episode 4 onwards coz I thought Phoenix is still showing The Merchant. I don't understand what's happening 99% of the time coz I understand very little Mandarin. I'm tempted to buy the drama just to see that other guy (don't know his name). He has a great smile like LBH. Last time I saw, Speedy was selling it at RM129. How are the Malay subs? Do you know where I can find the episode guide for All In?

Yup, bought all my Korean dramas and films directly from PMP (except BD).
They even give you free posters if you ask.
Okay, my favourite BD moments:
1) The Victory kiss scene. So passionate and real.
2) When Yeon Soo stuff scattered on the floor, Min Chul bending down to touch her hair then sort of pretending to help her pick up the items.
3) Min Chul winking at the lady store manager during a meeting. The poor woman fainted and had to be carried out by her girls. Min Chul laughing right there and then.
4) Min Chul giving Yeon Soo a smile everytime he sees her at the store.
and many more ........................
My questions:
1) Why Min Chul's dad was not charged for the murder of Seon Jae's father?
2) When Victory Records went out of business, they were facing financial difficulties. Since they were rich before, they could have savings in banks. Couldn't they live on that?
3) Min Chul has a degree, right? Why couldn't he find a job?
4) In the end, did Seon Jae patch up with his stepdad? |

Hi! These answers are based on my observation, hope it helps...
1) Lee San Choon was not charged because the crime he committed had passed a certain limit of time (I'm not sure, about 15 years or more) to be charged in court. Though not jailed, he's now a dishonoured person and declared a bankrupt.
2) I suppose MC would have some savings of his own for him to start afresh in Paris, if he & his sister had gone abroad in the first place. Other than that, all their possession such as the company, house & cars were confiscated by the authority or something to that effect.
3) Yes, he has a degree in music management (?) from Berkley. He couldn't find a job because no one would hire him due to the scandal caused by his father's crime.
4) They didn't really patch things up but I think SJ does not hold any grudge against the older man as he remembers how the latter had raised him before. They probably would stay out of each other's way.
About ALL-IN:
The actor you've mentioned is Ji Sung. I don't have a complete All-In episode guide but I can ask around....so, stay tuned. ;) |

Korean male top stars, such as Bae Yong-joon, Won Bin and Lee Byung-heon who have successfully made inroads into Asian countries, are winning the cover of famous Asian magazines.
Won Bin appeared on the cover of the Asian version of "FHM collections", a British fashion magazine, and caught the eye of Asian fans with his sculpture-like face this spring. The magazine praised Won Bin, who wore a white suit, describing the photo as "fantastic white heat of Korean superstar Won Bin".
Bae Yong-joon, widely known as "Yon sama" in Japan, will be on the cover of the May issue of Aera, the affiliate weekly magazine of the Japanese daily Asahi Shimbun. The popularity of "Winter Sonata", in which Bae played the leading role, and Japanese fans' explosive responses shown during his visit to the island have helped Bae become a cover model of Aera. "Winter Sonata" is broadcast across Japan by NHK.
It is the first time for Aera to choose a Korean male star for its cover model, although Korean actresses like Lee Young-ae and Goh So-young appeared on the cover. Lee was on the cover in 2001, when "Joint Security Area" in which Lee was the heroin was released in Japan. Goh was employed as a cover model of the magazine in June last year when her movie "A Double Agent" was released in Japan.
Lee Byung-heon, who is also popular in Japan, will appear on the cover of the May issue of the Japanese fashion magazine Miss.
"The Sports Nippon" exceptionally reported that Lee Byung-heon, the hero of "All In", had became a cover model of Miss. "All In" is broadcast on a satellite channel of NHK.

5/1/04 - Lee Byung Hun signs the CF contract (600-800 million Won / 1 year) with Samsung as its spokesperson for "Raemian Apartment (삼성 래미안 )".
This is the highest offer of CF that an entertainer has ever received. The filming of the CF starts on 5/1. The representative of Samsung states that LBH is selected because his healthy and bright image would correctly represent the image of Raemian.
LBH was busy in filming the movie "Three, Monster". Currently, he is filming another movie "Everyone has a Secret".

mine is also from Alfa Equity (the white one), but I don't think there's much cut...guess what? I bought it from a shop at S&M (the one very far at the back) and got it around RM40...it's 'harga runtuh' time, I think... |

5/4/04 - Song Hye Gyo and Bi will leave for Thailand on 5/7 to film the drama "Full House". They are going to film scenes of Honeymoon in which the production team plans to have SHG wear bathing suit. In one scene, SHG falls into swimming pool while she is arguing with Bi, and then Bi jumps into the pool to rescue her. They will kiss lightly in the scene too.

Everyone Has a Secret vs Full House
5/12/04 - Lee Byung Hun and Choi Ji Woo shoot a kissing scene of the movie "Everyone has a Secret". In the movie, LBH kisses Kim Hyo Jin, Choi Ji Woo, and Choo Sang Mi in three different occasions. Also, there is a bed scene of LBH and CJW.
5/10/04 - On 5/10, Song Hye Gyo and Bi film a bed scene of the drama "Full House" in Thailand. The scene is about 5 minutes. They also shoot a scene in which they kiss in the rain. The filming team is scheduled to wrap up the filming in Thailand on 5/14. The drama is scheduled to be aired in mid July by KBS2.
