Our client, an reputable agent in New Zealand, is one of the few agencies in the country who is authorised by the New Zealand government to bring Malaysians into New Zealand orchards for work. They are currently looking for the following position urgently:
Seasonal Worker(s) in New Zealand
(Sarawak - New Zealand)
Responsibilities:
- 200 seasonal workers (fruit pickings) needed for several New Zealand orchards.
- No prior experience needed, on-the-job training will be provided.
- Those with prior experience working in farming/plantation (in Malaysia &/or New Zealand) will be considered advantageous.
- 9 to 12 months full time contract (renewable).
Monthly salary minimum NZD 4,000 before tax (income tax at 19.5%);salary is paid weekly.
OT pay is NZD 12.00 per hour during weekday; NZD 18.00 per hour during weekend/public holiday (as per New Zealand Labor Law). No restriction on the number of hours of OT a staff can/cannot work.
Accommodation cost around NZD 100.00 per week, transportation cost around NZD 4.00 per day.
New Zealand Visa application fees may apply, pending on individual's qualification & previous working experience.
Requirements:
- Candidate shall have at least Primary School/SPM/"O" Level or STPM/"A" Level; fresh graduates/entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Required language(s): Chinese & English.
- Required age: above 18 and below 40 (as per New Zealand Regulation).
- Must be willing to serve out the contract (maximum 12 months).
- Must be willing to learn and work hard.
