L’Arc~en~Ciel to sing theme song for “Full Metal Alchemist” movie!
It’s been revealed that rock band L’Arc~en~Ciel will be singing the theme song for the upcoming “Fullmetal Alchemist” movie!
This will mark the fourth time in which L’arc~en~Ciel will sing for the anime franchise. In 2004, they released “READY STEADY GO” as an opening song for the first anime series, and in the following year, they sang both the opening (OP) and ending (ED) for “Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa”
The new film, “Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Seinaru Hoshi“, will hit theaters on July 2nd

A new trailer has been released for the animated film “Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Seinaru Hoshi“, and in the background, you can hear parts of the theme song from L’arc~en~Ciel!
The movie’s plot involves Al and Ed discovering a secret in the “lost holy land” of Milos. The trailer ends on a mysterious note, with Edward shouting “No. If you do something like that, your heart will be eaten by stars. Stop!” followed by the subtitle “Humans cannot gain anything without sacrificing something.”
L’Arc~en~Ciel to donate revenue from anniversary concerts to charity

Rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel announced that they will donate all of the revenue from their two 20th anniversary concerts to the Tohoku earthquake relief efforts.
L’Arc~en~Ciel has two scheduled concerts at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on May 28 and 29. In an announcement on their official website on Tuesday, the members and staff revealed that they will direct all of the concert revenue towards rebuilding in the earthquake-stricken areas.
The staff will also be taking extra measures to address safety and power usage concerns during the concerts.
90,000 Tickets of L'Arc~en~Ciel 20th Anniversary Live Sold Out in a Flash
The four-piece rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel will be holding the "20th L'Anniversary Live" in May to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The live tickets were on sale from April 23rd, and right after the release 90,000 tickets have been sold out.
As reported before, the income of the live will all be donated for relief efforts to the stricken area of the earthquake that happened in Japan in March 2011.
Looking back on the 20-year musical activities, the special live performance will be held on May 28th and 29th at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.
On May 28th, the set list will be mainly from the indies albums "DUNE" to "HEART", which have sold out more than 1.5 million copies.
On May 29th, the set list will be focusing on the best selling album which has sold out more than 2 million copies such as "ark" and "ray", as well as the latest original work "KISS".
