Why Kristine Hermosa is all smiles these days
If you like fairy tales with happy endings, then the love story of Kristine Hermosa and Diether Ocampo is one to look forward to. After all that抯 been said and reported about, the main star of ABS朇BN抯 newest drama series "Gulong ng Palad" has never been happier in her life. Unlike the stormy phase that the couple has went through in their lovelife, what people could see in Kristine抯 face these days are satisfaction, happiness and peace. They just radiate from within her and couldn抰 be missed.
"I don抰 have to explain why I抦 happy. When I抦 happy, I抦 simply happy... and contented," she expressed in Tagalog. "We抮e very happy, which means we抮e trying to work things out to go back to the level that we left behind."
Kristine and Diether, who in the past denied reports that they were already married, surprised everyone when stories of Kristine filing for a nullification of their marriage surfaced. What followed too were reports that the couple already separated ways.
But during the press conference of "Gulong ng Palad," the actress admitted that things were better now than before. It used to be that she wouldn抰 want to face any reporter and talk about her predicament. But now she抯 more open to answer personal questions about her relationship with Diether Ocampo.
"I wish I could talk more about the case but it抯 already in court so I抣l leave it to that. I myself have a hard time understanding it and differentiating the nullification from annulment so I抎 rather not talk about it. I just hope it will be over early next year," Kristine sighed.
If there抯 a lesson to be learned in her experience, it would be to choose the right people to deal with. The only thing certain for her is Diether Ocampo.
"I was sure of the man I married and I抦 sure of the same man I抣l hopefully marry again," she smiled.
She added that they were serious when they got married but there were just snags in the process.
Kristine also took time to clarify issues regarding Pauleen Luna whom she was reported to be jealous of. It was reported that the two didn抰 see eye to eye when Kristine had a guest appearance in "Eat Bulaga," where Pauleen was one of the hosts, to promote "Enteng Kabisote."
"In the first place she抯 not my friend. She also saw me and she also snubbed me," she remarked.
Kristine also stressed that she never knew that Pauleen was considered to be part of "Enteng Kabisote" and that she was never the reason, if ever, for the actress not to be cast.
With regards to her mother, she was the one who left their house contrary to what was written that she yelled at her mom and threw her out. She explained that she was already of age to live by herself and she抎 soon be left alone when her family migrates to Canada anytime soon.
"I have to understand her because I know that she doesn抰 like Diether," she said.
As Christmas nears and the New Year is slowly creeping in, Kristine is elated about her relationship with Diether and her new teleserye "Gulong ng Palad," the No. 1 soap opera in the 80抯, that would air on Jan. 9.
So how was it working with other actors other than Diether Ocampo or Jericho Rosales?
"Well, I抳e worked with other actors before. I know I抳e worked for a long time with Echo and Diet so there were some adjustments working with TJ and Luis. Adjustment was the hardest thing because you have to blend together to make a scene work. Because we抳e bonding also in the set, eventually it became easier," she related.
Also in "Gulong ng Palad" are Andrea del Rosario, Joross Gamboa, Roxanne Guinoo, Hazel Ann Mendoza, Mico Aquino, Nash Aguas, Cherie Gil, Lito Pimentel, Rio Locsin, Joel Torre and Tuesday Vargas. |
