saje nk share..
few days b4 ramadhn i bump into ths aussie kat baby changing room, kami samaa2 nk tukar diaper baby. ku tgk smbil dia tukar cloth diaper anak dia umur bout 9 mnth, terselepang kain batik kat bahu dia.siap je tukar npkin, terus dia dukung anak dia n kendong bby dia ngan kain tu, hip style.but she also support baby dia guna sum kind of pouch a like kat pinggang dia where the baby sit on th bulky part of the pouch instead solely supported by the kainbatik.
kain batik dia main simpul mati je x yah ring2 nya..n kain batik tu punya la lusuh....mcm rupa kain basahan bawak mandi je..(nmpk cam kain buruk pun ada.. )
tp dah omputeh kan, pakai gitu pun nmpk stail, kalo kita pakai kain batik camgitu..rasa ..nmpk cam indon kena dera je... |

i agree dgn mz_tera
i ni a mother of 4.... yg 1st darjah 1 n 2nd tu 6 yrs
yg no 3 tu 2 1/2 yrs n yg kecik is 4 months
mmg handfull pasal yg besar dok sebuk nak main n gaduh2
yg no 3 lak dok sebuk lari sana sini + a baby
so mmg i kalo kuar akan bawak double stroller or yg single pasal nak tolak yg no3..... n at the same time blh gak handle baby
my hubby tolong tengok yg 2 besar tu..... bkn ape.... kalo kuar cam gerabak ni kene monitor betul2..... xde ler ni 6 gerabak bile balik tinggal 5 gerabak jer
sekarang ni kes hilang budak n etc mmg menakutkan
so stroller tu mmg perlu
kalo i letih n baby dah tido.... blh ler letak die kat stroller
pakai sling ni seronok pasal blh pelok2 baby....
n mungkin tu ler cara i tunjukkan kasih sayang i kat die
tunjuk sayang ni subjektif.... lain org lain cara...... as for me.... i suke bile dpt kilik baby..... |

cmanis.... amboih.... baby hang lagi berat dari haku .....
pasal babybjorn tu.... I got the info here.. paste kat bawah
http://www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?t=953064%29:
ni pasal jenis carrier yang baby tersangkut kat celah kelangkang... so weight die semua disupport kat celah situ....
die takde la life dangering stuff... but tak selesa.. and not the best position for babies to be in...
tapi yang penting, lutut kena atas bontot... sentiasa ingat tu bila babywearing
kat bawah tu ade links lagi
---------------------------------------------------------------
Like the PP says, no carrier can cause Hip dysplasia, but carriers which hang babies by the crotch will exasperate the preexisting condition.
If you look up Hip dysplasia in infants, you will see that their legs are splinted in a wide-spread position with knees bent. The NEWEST research shows that this very wide position isn't the best either, but the a narrower spread is the best for correcting Hip dysplasia, just like when a child is in a hip carry with their knees up.
At the International Babywearing Conference in Chicago, I learned that a hip carry (switching sides for even amounts of time on each hip) is therapeutic because when you walk, your hip acts as a massage while the baby's hips are in the correct position.
Whatever carrier you use, you should be looking to see if the baby's knees are above the level of the bum. If the legs are allowed to hang straight down, then you should try to adjust the baby into the correct seated position; With some carriers, the correct position is not possible.
Why not have the legs straight down? There are certain stages to the spinal development of infants. Newborns, used to the fetal position, need to be allowed to curve their spines into a 'C' position. If their legs hang down, their spines curve the opposite direction.
Some babies who have experienced birth trauma, or have other contributing factors, have what is called High Tone. This causes them to feel "stiff" and arch their backs. This can be treated with CranioSacral Therapy, Chiropractic adjustment, and other gentle hands-on techniques. On the other end of the spectrum, babies with extremely Low Tone are way too floppy and do not have muscular reactions or control. The same treatments can apply in this situation.
Many parents interpret distress, stiffness, and arching to be the preference of the baby not to be held or worn. This in not the case. In fact, there might be Sensory Integration issues which need to be treated so that the baby will no longer be overwhelmed and unable to cope with normal amounts of stimulation.
Another reason not to allow the legs to hang straight down is that the carrier would then put undue pressure on the Pubis and Pubic symphysis, possibly compress the Femoral arteries and nerves, and promote lateral curvature of the spine.
These multiple reasons no doubt impact the development of a child, but by no means are crippling. Bjorn's and Snuggli's aren't the most comfortable things for babies or parents, but they are not as dangerous to health as bag-style slings (http://babyslingsafety.blogspot.com/) which can lead to infant positional asphyxiation.
Here is a link to a very long PDF about natural parenting. Page #107-108 have pictures of natural hip positioning. This dissertation is a really good one. If you have the time, please read it:

baiti.... pakai pouch boleh tahan lagi org usha...
tapi bila pakai wrap (macam I pakai kat link bawah ni)... lagiila org usha hehehhe.. abaikan jerr
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_sXWdT7SNCt ...
eh, ni nampak lagi snug and comfy..sebab the weight of the baby is spread evenly between both our shoulders for support kan?..kalau sling..weight kat belah kanan or kiri..
menarik...menarik.....do have the website on how to wrap wrap ni?...bleh pakai pashmina eh? |
|
|

pashmina...? macam takleh .. pendek sgt kot... tapi berjaya guna pasmina utk no-sew ringsling
wrapping ni ikut jenis position ape yang u want...
kalau nak buat cam I buat tu...
nama die Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC)..
panjang kain tu kena at least 4 meter (for me, medium size badan)..... tapi comfy la coz 2 shoulder... and sedap... tapi time nak men-wrap tu leceh sket.... susah nak kuar masuk baby.... tapi boleh carry for 3-4 hours comfortably lah...
tapi untuk jenis carry yang lain.... cam rebozo carry, or simple front cross carry... kain tu boleh pendek sket... rebozo tu guna 2 meter lebeh kain wrap (also called "shorty" wrap or "rebozo shawl")... pastu kain 2 meter lebeh tu boleh gak guna buat no-sew Ring Sling kalau ade rings... so aku pun maybe nak carik a shorty wrap soon....
setahunya, rebozo tu carry yg paling sikit guna kain..
and FWCC tu yang paling panjang guna kain...
kalau org tu berisi sikit.. mungkin kena guna 5-6 meter..
tapi ni website utk different positions, different fabric size..
and all the tying instructions.... ade byk lagi positions leh buat... sebab wrapping is versatile...

i guna gak sling ni dari anak sulung lagi..memang helpful pun especially time2 malas nak hangkut stroller yg bulky tu..so kesimpulannya, sling ni i akan guna bila malas nak hangkut stroller je..contoh mcm pegi pasar tani ke or tempat2 lain yg leceh nak bwk stroller..pastu bila time2 emergency mcm last week, member2 hubby dtg raya umah mlm2 n masa tu anak2 i dah tido..sekali tu si kecik terjaga pulak n ofkosla dia cranky kan..masuk buai taknak, org lain semua dia taknak..dia nak mommy dia je..so have no choice but to gendong her lah.. |

Yg no-sew ring sling tu yg guna pashmina tu memang cun la and look fashionable. Lagipun boleh di padankan ngan colour baju. Boleh beli banyak pashmina yg lain-lain colour. Lagipun kain pashmina ni yg terlebih dr ring sling tu flow dia cantik, takdela cam ring sling yg kain lebih tu agak panjang. Kalau orang rendah and kecik macam I ni mesti tak seauai. Kain lebih tu dah nak sampai ke lantai. Macam apa jer... |
