Been playing Half Life 2 until forgot to tell what time it is...
Yeah, I got DVD9 difficulties... I'm going to get my PS2 fixed.. someday...

By the way, i'm getting two copies of MGS3...
One is by buying the cetak rompak...
another is by buying... no, i'm not going to buy the origianl, i'm downloading the game now and burn it.

Hey,i'm planning on buying a DVD burner myself and maybe try to burn those games my own instead of buying em...HEheh.
What's the price of a DVD burner nowadays?

According to me, you should get DVD burner with dual layer burning support, 16X...
You can eiter go with Lite-on, Pioneer or TDK... I saw TDK, dual layer, 16X at about RM380

Got the game, bought...

When i start the game, they ask me this weird questions...
Many options such as I like MGS2 or I like MGS1...
I picked I like MGS2 and what a suprise!
I receive a mask....
a familiar mask....
Raidenovich / Raiden... Not a person or else, it is actually a mask wore by THE NAKED SNAKE

When you were asked with options,
if you chose 'I like MGS2',
they gave you a special costume...

Just bought the game on yesterday(saturday) and played it up to 4 hours already.The game is kinda hard because it has been a while since i last played a metal gear game but i got the hang of it already.

As for the weird option during the start of the game i chose "I like MGS1" and i still have raiden's mask in my inventory...hmm?

Oh btw,to those who have played the game i wanna ask you something.
You guys get the "infamous" audio skipping or not?Especially during the first radio conversation.It did happen only briefly in my game but that was all.Pheeew!

Yeah, i got the audio skipping...
I check at the gamefaqs forum... alomst all of them, including those who bought the original have this audio skipping problem...
Maybe it was a developer's intention to have one of those... SInce the game was set in 1960's, maybe it needs audio skipping for added realism

1964 after world war 2, FOX unit was sent to SOVIET UNION to rescue weapon scientist named SOLOKOV whom created the super weapon SO.something which became the METAL GEAR.

SNAKE is alone to do the job and he has been trained by the WW2 veteran hero THE BOSS, female hero whom unit is called THE COBRA (there r 5 of them).

after rescue SOLOKOV, SNAKE encounter young OCELOT of the GRU unit under the command of COLONEL THUNDERBOLT ( SPETSNAZ team) . after the fight, THE BOSS appears and she reveals that she has defected to the russians alongside the COBRA. in the process, she fought wz SNAKE and SNAKE tumble to the river and SOLOKOV being captured again.

a week later, SNAKE return to the SOVIET to try and rescue SOLOKOV, destroy the secret weapon and kills THE BOSS. SNAKE encounter EVA, a KGB spy who help SNAKE to find and rescue SOLOKOV. in the process, SNAKE fought wz OCELOT again and defeated one of COBRA elite, PAIN....

YEah,some gamers thought all the skipping was intentional but i don't think it is.They claimed that the audio skipped randomly and when they played it using HDloader,none of those audio skip can be found at all.
Anyways,i don't really care as long as it doesn't affect any gameplay experience.

Now i'm fighting volgin.Boss fights are cool in MGS this time jsut like the first MGS.The Pain,The Fear,The End,The Fury and The Sorrow.
AS for The End...man it took me 1 hour 15 mins to beat him.Heheh.

wow.... u`ve been there already, that`s fast.... just beaten THE END yesterday nite took me around 45mins.... lucky for me though...

spoilers.....continue from my story.....

after defeating PAIN, saw VOLGIN "massges" TANYA while SOKOLOV pee in his pants due to OCELOT`s intimidation. THE BOSS comes in wz THE END together wz THE FEAR and FEAR has been sent out to hunt SNAKE.

SNAKE infiiltrate the lab and met wz GRANIN whom gives key and info about SHAGOHOD, and afterwards fight wz THE FEAR aka SPIDE. Later on the way to the mountain to met wz EVA but i have to battle wz THE END....
