i voted NO.but i'm ok with someone kindly correcting another persons grammar.the problem i have is when they comment when the implied message is the same either way, and that a verbal understanding isn’t hindered by a grammar mistake.then, the comment is just unnecessary.

but sometimes i feel, they're only concerned with a particular set of grammar to feel superior to a person whose opinion they disagree with.otherwise, why are they grammar nazis?do they want you to learn?or do they want to show their nativeness and superiority?i think they get personal joy when correcting other people.it is a way to make them seem smarter than other people.on the other hand, intelligent people understand that communicating ideas is important rather than adhering to formal rules.

i'm not too serious on correcting people on every little mistake possible, because i'm prone to do that myself. however, in some certain cases, i would really appreciate it if people made clearer sense in what they want me to understand.
