[FAN ACCOUNT] JIYONG & LEE HYUK SOO TEASES THE WAITRESS AT THE RESTAURANT (THE LUCKY VIP!) (111225)

Ah…the minute I saw him walked into the restaurant, I clenched my mouth tightly because I was afraid I would scream out loud. They found seats and surprisingly, it was the same table that Youngbae sat in last time. It was a 4 seat table and Kwon Jiyong sat in the exact same spot that Youngbae sat in! He didn’t have any makeup on today but I could see he still put in a lot of work with his outfit. He did his hair, wore dark colored jeans, Chanel shoes, military style jacket and a light coffee colored long windbreaker to top it all off.

When I asked for the autographs, he was lying on the table to sign. He was really concentrating as he was writing, so cute…just like a kid. I could tell he was in a great mood today. He came into the restaurant with a friend first (the model friend - Lee Hyuk Soo, who was also very very handsome.) He then said there would be 2 other friends coming so I tried my best to stay calm.

I handed them water and helped them order food. I crouched down to help Jiyong order food - they ordered a meal for 4 and a bottle of red wine. After the food was served, I gave them an additional order (it was a seasoning mix I asked the chef to make 2 months ago…when BIGBANG members came to the restaurant, it was to be served for them. When Youngbae came last time, I also gave him it…^_^) Jiyong looked at me then smiled and said thank you.

Finally, his 2 friends came…and then Jiyong said, “You can serve the food now. I’m very hungry.” When the food was being cooked, Jiyong said it was the wrong order and asked if it could be changed. (Actually we’re not allowed to change the food when it’s already being cooked when other customers request it but….Jiyong wanted it to be changed…so who can say no?? You want anything? We’ll give you anything!) He also looked at me like a sad puppy and said, “I’m really sorry but I really want to eat it today..I ordered the wrong thing just now with egg sauce..”

Okay then, so everything was thrown away and we started fresh again.
Lee Hyuk Soo oppa said, “Even though the taste is important but what we really need right now is speed.”

Jiyong’s friends were so funny…one of the friends asked me,

“Isn’t it annoying that we always keep changing the orders?”

Everyone knows that Lee Hyuk Soo recently starred in a comedy drama - ‘Vampire Idol’ & then we started talking about the drama. I told him I liked watching it & he was really funny in it.

Lee Hyuk Soo: “You saw it? Ahh no, so embarrassing..”
Jiyong looked at me & said, “Did you think the drama was…funny?”
Me: “It’s okay.”
Jiyong: “When I watched the drama, I thought….I’m more funny.”

Jiyong ordered an additional 2 sets of only meat & no vegetables, but since meat was too oily, I asked the chef to add some extra vegetables on the side.

Jiyong: “Give me more mushrooms, I like eating vegetables.”

His friend said that whenever they tag along with Jiyong, they always get to eat good food. Jiyong then said, “I have to eat rice…I’m the type of person that has to eat at a certain time.”

[FAN ACCOUNT] YOUNGBAE IS THE EATING KING! (111015)

First of all, I’ve been working part time at this restaurant for about 9 days already. There was another restaurant with better offers but there was only 1 reason why I chose this place:during my interview, the manager told me that ‘BIGBANG always comes here”.

Back to the topic..at around 8pm, Youngbae and 2 guys walked in. One of them looked like he was a YG trainee, the other…well I don’t know who he was. When they came in, I immediately asked to change shifts with an onnie and then I finally walked to less than half a metre away from Youngbae. I said “Anneyeonghaseyo” & he smiled in return - very polite. My hand was shaking as I handed the water to him. When it was time to order, I crouched down (to make it easier for me to talk to him) & then he said, “Then I’ll get a meal for 3.” He also ordered other stuff, but the food couldn’t be ordered at the same time so when I explained that to him, he got into a bit of dilemma kk.

All of you have been fooled…Youngbae is the EATING KING!

When the 3 main courses arrived (usually 3 people only order 2 main courses), and he also ordered omelette rice..with meat (most main course have meat already so usually people won’t have meat with the rice…not only because of the price but because they can’t finish it). He asked me cutely, “Are 3 main courses enough?” I wanted to say that 1 was already enough but since I saw one of his friends was a bit bigger and I also wanted Youngbae to eat a bit more, so I recommended 2 for him kk.

I ran to the kitchen and nagged the chefs inside to make additional food for Youngbae. The ahjusshis handed me a plate of additional food and coolly said, “This is only for you…I wouldn’t even make this if the boss of a gang requested it!” When I handed the additional plate of food to Youngbae, and then he shyly smiled at me and said thank you.

I always have to stand when I serve the customers so I was always near Youngbae. I stood for almost 1hr but I wasn’t tired at all. I would always serve the food for Youngbae first before I served for the other 2…and I almost always put all the meat into his bowl first. Suddenly he said to me with a sad face, “Can I get more meat?” I almost froze on the spot..

For the main courses, Youngbae also ordered 3 bowls of congee but when I was about to hand them the congee, I realized maybe they had ordered a bit too much so I asked him if he ordered too many and he shyly looked at me and said, “Ah yes…I think it’s a bit much…please help me cancel 1 order.” I kept standing next to him while cooking the congee. I first handed a bowl to Youngbae first but then I realized I had already served half the portions to him and not much was left for the other 2! It was so obvious that there was too much in Youngbae’s bowl so I kept apologizing.

And then our innocent Taeyang! He finally realized how much congee he had in his bowl so he offered it to the friend sitting across from him and said he wouldn’t be able to finish all. The friend didn’t take it though. By the time dessert was served, I went over to clean up the dishes from the main course. At this time I realized….that Youngbae had eaten almost everything!! When I was about to take his plate away, he suddenly pulled me and said, “Wait a minute~” & then ate the last bite at an incredible speed. Nothing was left….

Finally..finally it was time for dessert (also time for me to get my autograph!). I walked over and asked him for an autograph and he accepted. When he was signing, I had the following conversation with him:

Me: “I’m working here part time because the manager said that BIGBANG always comes here.”
YB: “Ah…really?”
Me: “Yeah…otherwise I would have went somewhere else.”
YB: “Ah…thank you.”
Me: “You have to come here more often.”
YB: “Mm I’ll come here again!”
Me: “I also went to BIG SHOW.”

I also want to produce my music that I can consider my own. Hip-hop is what I started with but I’m always trying new styles, new genres and combining them together. I think superb music has already appeared and now I have to use that and create something that I can call my own. The funny thing is that it’s impossible to create a good song if I go along with what people consider a hit song or popular song. Rather, a good and popular song is created when we sip some wine or play some games. We get our inspiration through that and use our memories to create a popular song.

I usually don’t care what people say about me and so I need to work harder. Even though people say lots of things about BIGBANG, but if I were to care about each and every single opinion, then BIGBANG or I wouldn’t be where we are today. It is like that with style - even though the way BIGBANG dressed in the beginning became part of people’s jokes but because of our confidence and the way we pull off our styles, people started to accept it. As with other hip-hop artists, I also want to have my own brand but compared to that, there’s something I want even more and that is to open my own store; a store that is the most recommended place to go in Korea for fashionistas around the world when they come here to play. I want people to feel that the store has cool staff, trendy clothes, good music and it’s somewhere that combines both the fashion trend and culture - a store where they can learn a lot from.
I want to create a space and gather fashionistas there that will make up a special culture. Rather than luxury fashion, I am more compatible with street culture and quirky fashion brands. Designers for luxury brands also get their inspiration from street culture and do collaborations together. Affordable clothes are of course great, but I would rather recommend a street brand that has different aspects to offer - one that combines a certain culture or lifestyle.
GD SAYS….KOREAN WAVE
I think now is a perfect time for the Hallyu wave to jump out of Asia and break into different parts of the world. We shouldn’t waste this opportunity if we want our country’s music and the pop industry to intercept with each other. We have to work hard to expand our music.
Japan is the 2nd biggest music market in the world but I think Korean music is also very outstanding too. I’m worried that we might just miss such a good opportunity. I hope we can fully grasp this chance and let the world understand our country’s music, and to educate the younger generation about it.
There are a lot of outstanding musicians in Korea so I also have to work hard in the future. I don’t mean 5-6 years down the road but I want to work hard for a long time. I also want to lead new music and create a new Hallyu wave.
I think now is a perfect time for not just Korean music to develop, but also a lot of different things. However, you can’t be lazy and not go to work just because it’s going smoothly; you have to work even harder to guide it into a new direction.
I hope everyone works hard together and make sure that the Hallyu wave is developed and promoted further. I also expect myself to be standing in the center of all of this.

I hope people don’t simply listen to an artists’ new album and watch one of their performances, but they should set a standard for themselves and judge what is outstanding music. There are a lot of music out there with almost the same standards and practically the same styles. I want to be the model answer to that; to be the standard that people can judge what is good music or not.
